The Red Sox won 8-6 in the tenth inning..I ended up missing the end because Enterprise was coming on..Star Trek will always win out over sports.. So the Red Sox are moving on to the next series..Now, if the Yankees will just get by the Twins we will once again have a Red Sox/Yankees series to see who goes to the World series..It could be fun.. :biggrin:

I really enjoyed the Warp 11 chat tonight..I had fun..But I like them alot..They are having a good time with their trek obsession..So should we all..I highly reconmend their current CD 'Red Alert'..That is, if you like Rock and Roll and fun song lyrics..I can't wait until their 3rd CD is released..Yeah, that's a pic of them in my signature..

A nice fall day up here..In fact I tok a ride down to see my parents today..Sometimes it's just good to get out of the house and away from the computer for a while..And it was great seeing my parents as always..A pretty drive down too..The leaves are turning and are very colorful..

 

I changed my avatar and sig to halloween related ones..I think they look pretty good..

I took a ride up to Best Buy after work to get the Special Edition DVD of Star Trek: Generations..It was my second attempt..This time, I was lucky and there was 1 left.. Amazing that they are being bought up so reapidly..Perhaps the Trek DVD sales are rising..

I watched my new DVD last night, Star Trek: Generations..Believe it or not I watched that instead of the first game of the Yankees/Red Sox series.. :( As I've said before, Star Trek will always come before sports..Anyway I did catch the end of the game..Yankees won 10-7.. :(

 

I enjoyed the movie. I like this movie alot except for when Kirk dies of course..Bad way for us to say goodbye to Captain Kirk..But aside from that it is a good movie..We have Data struggling with his emotions, the Nexus, Soran, Lursa and B'Tor, the crash of the Enterprise D..I like Data's 'lifeforms' song.. :P

 

6:52 AM..I'll have to get to work soon..Let's hope I actually have some work to do..If not, I'll probably be on this site alot like yesterday..Well, I'm otta here for now..Peace..I hope you all have a good day..

The word for today's workday is BORING ! I haven't done much of anything today..Easy money for sure but it makes for a long day. Finally getting towards the end of the day. The high point of the day was checking out those new Nana pics..I can't wait to get home and download them onto my home computer..They would make a good windows background.. :(

Another boring day in work..But actually today was a little better. I managed to find things to keep me busy. And tomorrow is friday so the end is in sight..It's hard to pretend like you're busy when you're really not.. :)

 

I can't believe the Red Sox are losing that series with the Yankees 2-0..Incredible..Is this really going to happen again ? Game 3 is tomorrow night in Fenway park..My Sox NEED game 3..Well, I'm going to do some surfing then Pop in a Star Trek DVD..I feel like watching DS9 tonight.. :(

Nana Visitor (1957- ) is a talented actress who started her career on the stage, but most of her work appeared on television. She is most famous for playing the role of Major Kira Nerys in the Star Trek series Deep Space Nine. (M 44111)

 

The asteroid Nanavisitor is 2 to 5km, and therefore is too small to be seen by the naked eye. Orbital and positional information can be found at Harvard's Minor Planet Ephemeris Service website (type in Nanavisitor in the search box).

Thanks BB.. I thought that was so neat when I found that on her web site last night. I wonder how many other trek actors have astronomical objects named after them ? There must be several that we don't know about. How would we find out about that ?

I'm glad this week is over..A long slow week for sure..No big plans for the weekend of course..Just taking it easy..Of course I'll be watching football on sunday and hopefully the Red Sox will start to turn the series around..

 

I'm anxious for Enterprise tonight..Don't miss it..

Looks like the Red Sox lost game 3 big..I didn't watch the game and I'm glad I didn't..What is it with the Yankees ? The Red Sox play great until it's time to play the Yankees..Is this really going to happen again ? It's pretty much over now..Practically impossible for the Red Sox to win the next 4 and advance..Oh well..Wasn't meant to be again this year..

 

What's going on today ? Not a whole lot..I'll be watching some football today of course and I need to get to the laundrymat..

 

I joined this fan club - Far Beyond the Stars. I recieved my first newsletter yesterday..It is the fan club of Alexander Siddig, Nana Visitor and Armin Shimerman..Of course I joined for Nana..

A cool rainy day up here. Work has been incredibly slow lately. In fact I didn't do anything yesterday but hang around and waste time on the computer. :) It makes for a long day for sure..

 

I've been thinking about having another special trivia week soon..Perhaps in a few weeks we'll have a TNG trivia week like we did for TOS..
