Not sure if I should have done it or not but I posted a message on the Warp 11 message board about the chat saturday night..I knew I would..Course, nobody but the mod responded to me.. Oh well..I still hope it'll be a fun chat..

That Star Wars Trilogy is now out. I am definately buying it this weekend. I've been waiting for this one for quite a while..Also if I remember right VOY 4th season and TOS 2nd season DVDs are being released at the end of this month.. :) Going to be an expensive DVD month for sure..But I know I'll buy them all.. :)

 

I've really been thinking about going to King Richards Faire this sunday..I haven't been for a few years..I always had fun there..Perhaps if I can spare the funds..

Season two of TOS comes out at the end of this month also? :) I didn't know that, I haven't even reserved it yet! (reserving saves like $50 @ Suncoast) Hopefully this weekend won't be too late, I must do it when I pickup the SWT... thanks for the info ST.

Decided not to wait until the weekend.. :) I took a ride up to Best Buy tonight and picked up the Star Wars Trilogy..I'm really excited about this set..Now, I just need to find some time to watch them.. I'll definately make the time this weekend..

^Great pic of our 3 young heros (not so young anymore afterall I was 5 when that movie was released) I want them for Christmas. Are they the new versions or the original films? I also have heard something about the ghost scene being changed at end of ROTJ let me know when you watch it please. Thanks

I just got finished watching the first movie of the Star Wars trilogy..All I can say is Wow.. :lol: Course I've seen it many times before but it has been quite a while..What a great movie..Very happy with the DVD..Anxious to watch the 2nd and 3rd ones..

Early saturday evening..I'm trying to kill some time before the Warp 11 chat..Might as well post something in here..In fact I just changed my sig pic to a Warp 11 pic. Might as well..I hope the chat goes well..

 

I'm still undecided if I should go to King Richards Faire tomorrow or just stay here..I always struggle with decisions..I should go..I never go anywhere,,

 

Looks like the Jeopardy Trivia game was fun today..What else ? Oh yeah, I posted next weeks trivia questions.. :lol:

Well, the Warp 11 chat never happened last night.. :( The guests never showed up and it was cancelled. I gave them a good half an hour before I left the chat room..I think they lost some potential fans by not showing up here..I posted a message on their message board expressing my incredible disappointment..Later on I noticed Karl Miller on the board..He was only 2 and a half hours late ! I was hoping he would go into the chat room..But he didn't.. Later on I noticed a message on his board from him..They got the times all messed up. They thought it was going to be 9 PM their time not eastern time..And they are very sorry. They didn't mean to blow us off..I wonder if we can re-schedule the Warp 11 chat ? Doubtful..But I thought I would throw that out there..I still like them..I think their songs are fun..

 

Now as for today..Yeah, I'm going to King Richards Faire. I feel bad about missing the BBK chat but oh well..It'll do me good to get away from the computer and TV for a while..And it'll be fun.. :(

I had a great time at King Richards Faire yesterday..I've been there several times of course but it has been a few years.I had loads of fun..And yes, I was a merry tigger.. :(

 

I came real close to buying a bat'leth ! They were amazing..I am glad I didn't spend my money on one though..What am I going to do with a bat'leth ? But, you know that I held one and took a few swings with it.. :(

Those bat'leths were amazing..It was just incredible to get my hands on one and examine it close up..Glad I didn't buy one though..I usually don't show that much restraint wth Star Trek stuff..

 

Yeah Airies..Warp 11 is a crazy band.. One of the reasons I like them. Life is too short to be all serious all the time..And they are having a lot of fun with their Trek obsession..And I really do enjoy listening to their crazy trek songs..I am anxious for their next CD..

So ST what's life like in Massachusetts? I have always wanted to visit there, especially this time of year. I hear the scenic drives are quite beautiful. You mentioned one time about it being cold. I like cooler temps. Here in Kansas during the summer it's always hot and humid, I can't stand it. I guess it's just my Irish blood. If I ever make it out that way what are some can't miss places? Just curious.

I do tend to complain about the winters here in Massachusetts..But I really do like living here. I love the change of seasons..(Except the change from fall to winter.. ) I love the fall..This is a good time of the year up here..Temps are nice, no humidity and the trees are all starting to change colors..Scenic drivres during the fall are beautiful..

 

The summers can be hot here as well but they really don't last long.Not sure which season is my favorite..I like the spring and the fall..I really like the spring..Everything starts growing again after the dead cold winter..As you can tell I don't like the winter..

 

Can't miss places if you visit ? That's a tough question..I like Walden Pond..A beautiful place for sure..I love walking thr trails around the pond..The Cape is a great place to go during the summer..I've often heard that western Massachusetts is beautiful during the fall. I've never been..I really should make a point to drive out there..

I just remembered somethng today at work..The Voyager season 4 set and the Generations special edition DVDs are now out.. I'll need to pick them up this weekend for sure. The 4th season of Voyager. Isn't that the season in which Kes leaves and Seven joins the crew ? I haven't seen that much Voyager aside from the first 3 seasons..(Thanks to the DVDs)..So a lot of these are going to be new to me..

 

Going to be kinda cool up here tonight. They are predicting high 30s or low 40s depending on location..

I think you are correct about Kes and 7 in season 4. I can't remember. I miss that show. I miss all the shows. Cool weather must be coming south cause were talking about low in the 30's and highs in the 60's which is uncommon for this time of year. It's been a weird weather year anyway :) I just don't want to have to turn on my furnace yet! Gas prices are so high! Makes me mad. :P

Monday morning..Very tough to get motivated this morning...And it feels like it's going to be a slow day here at work..Still waiting to be cleared from inventory before we can actually do some production..Inventory is such a pain..Production is shut down for the time being..So boring..

 

I did manage to get up to Best Buy saturday..I bought the 4th season of Voyager on DVD..Awesome..I've watched the first couple of episodes allready..I was surprised that I was unable to locate the special edition of Star Trek: Generations.. It is out now..I may have to get it thru Amazon.com..Perhaps I'll take another ride to Best Buy this week at some point..

Congrats on picking up the season 4 ST! I'm still saving my pennies up for that one, almost there... On Fri I snagged the very last copy of Generations from our vid store, hope you find one. Will Best Buy order it if you request?

I'm watching the first game of the playoffs between my Red Sox and the Angels..The Sox are winning 8-1 in the 7th inning..So far so good..I'm glad it's an early game today because I want to watch more of my new Trek DVDs tonight..I want to take another ride up to Best Buy this week to see if I can locate a copy of the special edition DVD release of Star Trek Generations..If I can't find it this week I will order it thru Amazon.com..

The Red Sox won the first game of the ALDS 9-3..WooHoo.. Nice start..It's 9:47 PM and it is 43 degrees out..They are predicting a frost tonight and a possible freeze tomorrow night.. I'm getting cold just thinking about that..

Wow, it's cold this morning..The windshield of my car is all frosted over. I'll have to start my car 10 minutes ahead of time and get the defroster working..Speaking of which I really need to do that now..

I'm pretty excited right now... :biggrin: Friday night, my Red Sox are winning 6-1 against the Angels in the ALDS, the weekend is here and the big thing is we have a new Enterprise episode tonight..WooHoo..
