Yeah, that was a bit of an over-reaction. Maybe they overdid it so they wouldn't be accused of under-reacting "just in case". :naughty:

I could understand if the typhoon was a little closer to Japan and if the track was heading towards the islands. Now its in the past.

I just got back from trailors. I went there when the placed open to pick up my uniforms. To my surprise they won't done! I was very disappoint when I walked into the store and was told if I could come back later in the day. I really had no choice, I need the uniforms for next week. I hate just have one pair of work uniform, pair of coveralls, and a jacket. I have them and world is almost right.

Slight typhoon problem? At first I thought "is there such a thing?", but having lived in San Antonio, Texas, I learned it is possible - if you're far enough away from it.

Well, look at the bright side, at least you don't live in the Seattle area where two snowflakes paralyzes the entire west half of the state!

I just love when my command over reacts on a typhoon that is no where near Japan and there is no risk from it. I am glad I am leaving the base in March. Every other base that is around Yokosaka had call "All Clear" several hours before my base did.

I was told this afternoon my transfer package might have gotten lost in the black hole known as admin department. This is the third time this year that a package I sent up there atomized in that hole in my command. I should be angry, but there is not much I can except start the whole process all over again. :waaaa: At least the paper work won't be hard to fill out.

I haven't heard anything about my package. I hope its not lost in Admin, but I believe it is. This is very annoying. Why did they tell me know that they can't find it? On Monday, if they can't find it I will start the whole process all over. The good thing is that it won't take long to do it.

I have great and wonderful news. I just finished with my last dental appointment of the YEAR! :) :) :) :) My next one won't be yearly check-up and that won't be until April, but I will do before I leave Yokosuka and have it done in February.

Yeah, I normally don't bruise badly with injections. Just the minor stuff.

As it gets closer to the holidays it is getting harder not to get depressed. I wish I was back in the states right now and with my family, but I can't. I really don't know why its harder this year than my first year in the military. :dude:

I am feeling better sence my last post. This week will be harder than normal for me, but I will survive it. Tomorrow I will start swimming. I am looking forward to it. I have really swam in a long time. That was about 7 years ago when I was getting my second class swimmer when I was in Norfolk, VA.

I got my book from Amizon. It is The Name of the Rose. The book is very good so far.

To try to keep my Christmas cheer up , or at least try to get one, I am singing Christmas songs. It helps somewhat. I just want this week go by fast and next week Monday come by. Sorry if this brings anyone down, but that is how I feel.
