o0o... wow... I am guessing you and your wife are getting divorced??

Yes, we are. After not quite two years of marriage. She came into this relationship hoping to get me to move to her neck of the woods. She thought that I would leave my kids behind. Not a chance of that ever happening.

So, we cut our losses and called it quits.

Eh.. I dont like the Yankees... Then again I don't like baseball I like foot ball!!

I love football too. NY Giants Fan since the days of Y.A.

How about you?

Pats... grew up watching them.

What do you think about them re-signing Junior Seau?

I think it was a mistake because I think his best days are behind him.

Well, My husband and I have been married almost a year now, its quiet an adventure. Sorry things with your wife didnt work out. But not all woman are like that.

I agree with you on them re-signing Junior...

I know that not all women are like the first two that I married.

But it seems that I am attracted to the nutty ones. :P

Believe me, Odo, I am happy that nightmare is over. My son and I had dinner together tonight since his girlfriend is working until 11. I asked him if he enjoys home cooked meals. He told me that, when he was living with his mother, that he would either have to do the HungryMan Dinners or eat at a friend's house. I was giving her (1.0) $800 a month to make sure that my kids ate properly, and she never cooked. How in Hell???? I am just amazed by her stupidity. At least 2.0 doesn't want any money from me. She just wanted out. I was more than happy to oblige.

As for 1.0, my kids love coming to my house because I cook for them. Their own mother doesn't know how. Now you see just another side to my frustration. My youngest has a weight problem because all he eats is junk.

I try to get him to eat healthy foods and he doesn't like them. Because he was never made to even try them when he was younger. My weight problem comes from the Insulin. Anyone in the Medical Field knows that Insulin induces weight gain. And it did on me. In the two years that I have been on Insulin, I've gained 100 lbs. I used to weigh 190. Now I am near 300. And I don't eat junk or anything like that. I can't because of the Diabetes. I try to exercise, but my foot is still healing from the surgery. For those who don't know, I lost a part of my left foot due to complications from Diabetes. And the road to recovery is a long and painful one.

Today was most interesting. 1.0's boyfriend started today in our Maint. Dept. The one question that was most asked of me was "Where did she find this retard?" He's a serious dummy. He has no Mechanical Skills whatsoever. He's just an accident waiting to happen. I'm giving him a month before he's out on Workman's Comp. Some say a week. I'll give him the benefit of a doubt.

2.0's fellow secretaries are no longer speaking to me. They really tried to talk her into staying but she wanted to go home to be closer to her inheritance. Her parents are millionaires and she thinks that she's getting it all. I tried to tell her that if one or both of them have any serious medical problems, she can kiss all of the money goodbye. As usual, she didn't listen. She got home last night and her parents were there, helping her move back into her house. They're pissed because I didn't come with her.

I've already explained to them that I will not leave my kids. They think that I am being stubborn. No, I am being responsible. There's a difference.

Why in the world would you have gone with her???? :P

They want me there to run their farm as both of her parents are getting too old to run it. None of their children or grandchildren want anything to do with it. And I can dig where they're coming from on that. I'm a City Boy. I know less than zero about running a Pig Farm. I've seen those pigs first hand. Three of them are the size of Volkswagens. And they bite too. :dude: So, I said, "thanks, but no thanks" to that idea. As much as I love Pork Roasts and Bacon, I like getting mine from the supermarket. I'd rather not have to whack them then cut them up to get what I want from them. My way is much easier.

I still don't understand. Do your future ex-wife's inlaws NOT know that their daughter moved back with them because you two were getting divorced? Or did they expect you two to get divorced yet still live together so that you can run a pig farm??? :P

BTW: I had no idea that pig farming was so lucrative. When you said they were millionaires, pig farmer was about the last thing that came to mind....... :dude:

quite lucrative actually, always a demand for pork, bacon etc. Where do you think the stuff you get from the supermarket comes from Gummy???

They also made their money thru land deals and antiques. My mother in law has a Teddy Bear Collection worth close to $250,000. They're all over their house and it's just a little creepy. :dude:

I have no intentions to ever going up there for any reason. My wife has her own home. Her parents live about two miles away. They sent their grandson in their minivan to get my wife's stuff (I live about four hours away from them, and am thankful for that) to transport back there. Her stuff was still in their van when she got home on Sunday. Her parents think that we're just living apart, but remaining married. I just haven't got the money to divorce her yet. I will in about two months. Then, I will file the paperwork with the court. Jadz, I have a career in Law Enforcement (for the last 25 years) where I live. I am very happy here where I am. My kids are here and I won't relocate them to a place that they don't want to be. And I have no desire to be a Pork Pusher.

I'm a city boy. I don't know jack about farming. Nor do I care to learn. I'm happy going to market to get my food. I prefer to let those who know do the farming, growing, processing, etc...

Today was just loads and loads of fun.

None of 2.0 co-workers are speaking to me. They are apparently pissed that she transfered. I do know that they loved her in that office and that made me very proud. Sadly, when she got home each night was when it got crappy quickly. I knew that she busted her butt working in that office. She was promoted after 2 years to KBS-2 (Keyboard Specialist Level 2) which means that she supervises other KBS's (A fancy PC Term for Secretary). Everyone loved how she got things done and came to depend upon her in a crunch. If something needed to be done quickly, they always went to her. Although they tried to talk her into staying, she followed through on her plan of transferring to a place closer to her home. And because she did, I am the bad guy.

Oh well. I won't lose sleep over it. She's a big girl and she made her decision. It's one that she has to live with the rest of her life. I am getting over it. I am busier now than ever. I don't have time to miss her. My work and hobbies keep me busy enough for five people. Plus I am considering writing again. I used to enjoy doing a Sports Column back ten years or so ago that was available on the Internet. I may just start it back up. However, back in 1997 when I was doing it, I never realized that it would be considered a blog. I wonder if I might have created the blog?????? :P

No, nor do I go by "Dog" either.

Star Trek isn't a hobby to me. It's a labor of love. :dude:

Agreed. I don't know why I even put that in there. I must be losing my mind. Which is certainly understandable considering all that has transpired in the last few months. Which has been mind boggling.

I finally got my second computer all set up in the guest room. All I need to do now is get the router for it and it too will have broadband. I wanted another one for my son when he wants to go on-line and I am busy on mine in my ready room.

While I was expecting a barrage of e-mails from 2.0, none have been received as of yet. I'm guessing that she's playing a waiting game with me. She may be engaging me in a game of "who blinks first". I can play that game with the best of them. She's got Road Runner on her computer now and she was always mad that I never hooked her computer up to my DSL when she was here. It's not that I wasn't ever going to do it. I just hadn't gotten around to it yet. That, and the fact that I didn't know what I needed to get to make it happen. I talked to my local computer guy and he said that I need to contact my phone company to get a DSL Modem that is capable of Wireless Signal. My only problem may be the steel intrastructure and marble floors of my apartment. I don't know if the signal will be strong enough to go through all the way up from the basement to the second floor bedroom where the other computer is located. My son's girlfriend has a laptop that she'll want to have internet access with and I have to figure out how I can make this place Wi-Fi.

Last night was a rather late one for me. I was engaged in an e-mail conversation with 2.0's sister and it was most entertaining. She and I are on the same page where her sister is concerned. She knows just what I am going through because she has seen this behavior before. We discussed her parents (from whom she is estranged), my kids (whom she's only met once at 2.0's and my wedding), my cats (currently engaged in "Kitty Wrestling") and life in general. I know now, more than ever, that I married the wrong sister. She's a sweetheart that is (unfortunately) living with her boyfriend. She's the Director of Social Services for her county, she a part-time Police Officer (right up my alley, so to speak) and the Chairperson for the Office for Domestic Violence in her area. She's very level headed and lives in the Real World, unlike her sister. She and I are both Diabetics, so I share my knowledge with her as she was recently diagnosed with the illness. She's not quite as bad off as I am, as hers is diet controlled. I share my knowledge with her and she with me. And no, she's not willing to relocate as she wants to be near her granddaughter. And she's not a Trekker, so that pretty much eliminates her from contention for my heart. But she's still a good hearted person that would do anything for anybody. These days, those are hard to find.

This weekend, my youngest is coming down to hang out with us as his mother's boyfriend's kids are going to be spending the weekend with their father, and he can't stand them. So, he wants to hang out with us. Sounds like there could be a Trek Film Festival happening tomorrow. Plus, while I am at work, he can watch all of the episodes of Enterprise that I have on my TiVO for him.

That's my boy.
