I have read the poem and I've seen the movie inspired by it. Both are very good and extremely classic.

Over-all I didnn't like season 1, but Shockwave was the only episode that really caught my attention. I liked it, and it tied into season 2 which got Enterprise on her own two feet.

Good to hear.
The biggest problem is that people don't actually see the show they just make assumptions on what they've heard. Then when they get a chance to see it, they immeadiately think "nerd show".

I voted Trip.
I wasn't crazy about the 'Harbinger' incident, but I like how it has effected their relationship. I don't think either one of them are quite of their relationship one way or the other, and its something that hasn't been done before.
Phlox, T'Pol, and now Hoshi are still among my other favorites.
I like T'Pol's emotions coming out. I like how if you look back before 'Damage' you can she her emotions coming out.
Archer's development has been interesting but i can't say as I totally like him, he's still the captain and he's still a decent guy, but since 'Azati Prime' and 'Damage' and just the way he says to Daniels "The hell with you." he's just getting way to reckless. Maybe that'll change now that they're out of the Expanse.

I don't think Joan is available but remember Trials and Tribulations, they could do something like that again.:( Perhaps Archer is driving the truck?
LOL! :)
I think that maybe Daniels might have done something to save Archer and in the process sent Enterprise back in time as well. This might be another of his ploys to shows Archer a new danger, by putting him where he wouold see the Red eyed Alien.
Thats my theory for now.

They barely had enough matierial to fill up one hour much less two. And this was not one of my favorite episodes of the year anyway, so I don't think I would have liked to have a two-hour piece. Just my opinion.

I can't say that I'll give a total review on this episode, but overall it let me down. Maybe because, like a few have said the end of the Xindi problem was predictable. but also Daniels' appearance was pointless. He did less than he did in Azati Prime at a more critical juncture. Granted he may be involved with the last eight minutes of the show, but i still remember who he is and so should every other person who watches the show. There was no real reason to bring him in to say "Are ya' sure, Johhny. cough*Federation*cough*my job*cough*". The fight between Archer and Dolim was dumb (why he didn't bring more soldiers with him is beyond me), but I did enjoy seeing those rings get put to good use with the charge . Shran's appearance was good, but Combs' acting was a little over the top (He owes me now!). I don't feel like I can judge the last bit, because, well, it's eight minutes long for goodness sake! I hope that this new time travel thinger doesn't last much beyond season 4's premiere. I'm just getting tired of long arcs. I wouldn't mind development of other arcs (TCW, Trip+T'Pol, Shran, Red Eyed Guy), but would like a less week by week type of season for next year.

They do, but you must then watch out for the droppings of flying pigs.
I hope that I make the cast of the All-State musical.

Manny Coto did an excellent job this year.
I think I ended up giving all of his episodes very high ratings. I know I gave Sim. an 8.5 but I think so much more of it in hind-sight. He definitly had a great year.
Credit is also well deserved with Chris Black for 'The Forgotten' and to Mike Sussman for 'Twilight' (even though he did write 'Hatchery', but I'll forgive that).

Because then they wouldn't have had much room for a final sacrifice from Data. It fit in with what tptb wanted to do. Its called a Plot Hole. Kind of like Stuart Baird, except with a different adjective.

hehe, Commander Ericks I too look forward to the S.S. Columbia NX-02, but I don't know a whole lot about Dr. Lucas, besides Phlox mentioning him on "Doctor's Orders"....
Well, I would like to meet him at some point, just for the sake of fleshing out one of the more subtle arcs of the series. I can imagine some one like Don Cheadle playing him very easily.

Thats my main problem. Is that they are still flat on thier buttsAs we as trek fans still eat it up? i say no! I say Demand the quality that Trek was and deserves!
Okay. I held back from asking in my last post, but I am not of a mind set to just let this be.
What makes it lesser quality Trek? I know it might not be a mind bending as TOS or TNG, but pisses you off to the point of begging for it's cancelation?
-
Thats fine.
I know from my own view that Enterprise has taken a while to get on it's own two feet (even if you think they're still flat on their butt).
-
Nope still hate it and i aviod it as much as possibleMaybe, if you watched it once with an open mind about it (heck watch it at all), you might change your mind.
I'll admit, about the end of season 1, I was about to just say to heck with it. But with season two, they got back on their feet and now with season three Enterprise has stepped up and I feel that if she goes the full 7 seasons, Enterprise will stand tall with the best of Trek.
By gosh, just give it a chance. Once you see it and you still think it blows, then you can throw in the towel, but don't base your over all assumption of Enterprise on season 1.

Oh well, if that's the worst they did, they did Darn well.

I would defend my actions in a Court Martial
If you came across a weapon capable of destroying an entire solar system from ten light years away, what would you do.

I found it, Jeanway.
I've done some looking around, but maybe you could explain the basic idea of all this to me.
