  1. :P  :P  They killed Major Hayes!

    Nothing personal, but GGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!

    Watch the SPOILERS!!!

I kind of saw it coming, but I really was hoping they wopuldn't do it. We already lost one major character. Dag blast it!!

Anyway, it's awesome that Enterprise is back. Am I the only one looking forward to seeing the Columbia? I excited!!

  2. Awesome news. I lvoe Enterprise. I remember at the start of this season with the first council scene in 'The Xindi' and when the theme came on, I had goose bumps all over the place.

I was like (and I quote)-"Oh my God, their doing it. She's flying. Enterprise is flying." Shut it. It was an emotional moment.

Anyway, Enterprise is back. Let's see the Columbia and am I the only one who is in the mood to finally meet Dr. Lucas?

  3. We saw Dolim in a sort of sunray bed in 'The Council'. It didn't have any type of pillow at all. It was just an inclined metal bed.

The humanoid theory is right. I would thoerize that in the Trek universe, a common humanoid DNA structure might have been spread across the universe (plus actors is still the best way to go). If you want to go religously, you might say God's own image could have a loser definition than we used to think.

I can imagine Reptillians and perhaps even primate Xindi keeping their women away from powerful roles. Arboreols, well we've only seen one really empowered one, plus Gralik. So I might imagine that they and the Aquatics would allow females to rise in their ranks. All the while the Insectoids are like "Geeze, we sure lucked out."(It is interesting how their is only one known female on the council, yet all of the sphere buildiers in powerful spots have been women).

I do wonder how aquatics get from place to place without leaving their ships. I'd imagine it's possible that most Aquatics would be born, raised, live, and die all on the same ship.

  4. (first of all, I will do my best never to be in that situation)

Pending her response (say like a shotgun), I would apologize like heck, but not ask for forgiveness

I did this one once. What would you do if you spilled milk all over your keyboard, mouse, and printer?

  5. I gave it a 9.

I liked T'Pol's speach to Reed. It was nice to actually put a face and some heart into the deaths of the crew members during the Xindi arc (was I the only one who had flashbacks of the Matrix and the arm thing came out?).

The Best action since 'Twilight', and I love seeing a kind of civil war brewing and exploding with the Xindi.

The Council scenes were excellent. We've seen them in bits and pieces. Never a full out debate on the center stage of the show.

The relationship between Degra nad the crew was very good, most notably when Trip and Degra finally made peace. Very good by both actors.

The entire mind set of the Sphere Builders also came full front in this episode. They are shown in their own Council discussing their true intentions and they show that they will use who ever they need and what ever tactics are necessary to accomplish their goals. Excellent development.

I give it a nine, only because I'm trying to be more critical and because it really depends on how well Countdown and Zero Hour turn out. If those episdoes suck wind, then The Council will feel like a major waste. Kind of like The Matrix with Reloaded and Revolutions.

  6. Archer, Trip, and T'Pol are the big three that I would hate to lose. T'Pol's character has evolved, and I really like the direction she is heading right now (no pun intended). Trip, I think is just the best acted and most entertaining character on the ship. And Archer, well, I just don't think any show can really stand the loss of their main charater. Especially a Trek show where so much emphasis is placed on the captain.

Reed, Phlox, Travis, and Hoshi are expendable, but I would hate to see anyone go. Just as long as they get Hoshi and Travis some good shows soon, I'll be good.

  7. I like the executive professional look of the First Contact Uniforms and 29th Century uniforms. But I'm going with First contact, their just great.

I also like the Enterprise Uniforms. I just like great.

I never liked the TMP uniforms. They looked like rejected idea for Star Wars ward robe and the Jedi look just doesn't go well on Admiral Kirk.

  8. For the record, I heard a rumour over at Treknation that they've filmed three endings and....

    Click for Spoiler:

Archer doesn't make it one of them   :)

    Click for Spoiler:

I can't imagine with all the emphasis that Daniels has put on Archer's life, that tptb would just kill him off, even if it was to save Earth.

  9. I don't think I wany anyone gone, but if someone had to go, I'd say Travis. Just because he hasn't been used as anything but a pilot in the entire series.

I'd also like to see a return of Lt. Talas, but I think she might be too much like Reed and it would just plain easier to develop Travis and Hoshi a little better.

  10. I have always liked the FC uniforms, but I think that the best reason for their explanation is how one of the Producers put it, when he was talking about the destruction of the 1701-D "They've been on the same ship for eight years! It's just time for a change of scenery." The same kind of applies to the gray and black uniforms.

I don't perticularly care why the uniforms change (according to the Trek universe), but as long as it doesn't happen to often or to drastically.

  11. Dang it! I am so ticked off that I missed "The Expanse". I was planning to see it before the start of the season, but TPTB didn't re-broadcast the show.

Anyway, I was glad hear about the expansion of Star Fleet, with the Columbia. I think we might see them be ready before Forrest's estimated 14 months, based on the circunstances with the Xindi.

I don't think Excelsior would quite fit, just because it was suppose to be a major revolution in the 23rd century. I can't imagine why the cocky crew we saw in Search for Spock would name their ship after an old NX ship.

Just a question, will the NX-02 be of the exact same design as the NX-01, or is it being designed more like the ships we saw in "Twilight".

  12. I thought about it briefly when I was watching 'Damage', about how this must be similar to how the Imperial Regime, seen in the TOS episode.

Then I thought, could this be the fracture point. Might humanity have reverted to it's savage roots after the events which occured in the Delphic Expanse?
