Yay, got out of school early today, I'll be able to watch DS9 at 1!

 

Couldn't find my glasses this morning, and my eyes felt too dry for contacts so I had to wear my ugly old glasses. They're thick rimmed Buddy Holly glassesm, and they're not as strong as a perscription as my others so it screwed up my depth perseption and I always felt like I was gonna run into something. Then when I got home I saw them sitting on the bedside table, right out in the open

 

the final's tomarrow. Eeek! Oooo, but a friend of mine and I are gonna wear togas to school(because we studied ancient Rome and Greece, and because togas rock) :o TOGA TOGA TOGA!

YAY! No more summer school! I'm sleeping 'til noon tomarrow ! The final was sooooo easy, and I finished with time to spare. My friend ditched me, and I was the only one wearing a toga, but whatever, still was fun. My teacher put a pic of the Enterprise (no bloody a, b, c, or d) on the cover page of the exam just for me :lol: then he gave me an extra copy to hang on my wall and cherish forever. And he told me to visit him often, or else he'd send Klingons after me :)

Haven't been here much lately...there's just so many forums that I'm hopelessly addicted to!

 

I didn't really do anything special for the 4th, just watched Voyager all day. lol fun times.

My surgery is in 2 days! :) So today I started igging out to compensate for the 12 or so hours beforehand when you're not allowed to eat. Firstmy mom and I went to this Thai-ish noodle place for lunch and had a big bowl of pad Thai noodles with tofu. Then we were going to return some pants that she had bought for me, but didn't fit right at a store that was close to the noodle place, but it didn't open until 1 and we had like another 45 minutes so we went to the Austrian-style coffe shop-ish place for dessert and coffee. I got a double rich essperso, which wasn't the smartest idea, I'm shaking from the caffine :) I also hadsome great cheesecake. It had a layer of carmel on top and was sprinkled with nuts and chocolate chips I feel like I'm gonna explode, but it was worht it. Then we finally went and exchanged the pants for a different size. The we came home. Then I got in front of the computer and started typing this lol

Today I left the house for the first time since Thursday. I went to that same lil coffee shop that I got the cheesecake at on Tuesday. They serve small meal thingies, and I had some small veggie kebobs. I was thrilled to see them on the menu, because I've been craving some fo the longest time. But they didn't have any onions on them, which was kind of a disapointment. I loooove grilled onions. Then I had some cheesecake.

 

My eyes are still pretty damn red (they do look a bit better though) so I wore dark sunglasses, and I left them on when I went inside And since I can't wear contacts for a while and I don't have persricption sunglasses I was really blind it was weird.

Maybe it's just me and my huge ego, it just really crushes my ego to hear people talking about how brilliant people who are much less brilliant than me are, when I'm right there. I'M THE BEST, DARN IT! Ok, I just don't like it when people dote on my cousin. I used to be the one everyone doted on and bragged about, then I became a geeky/strange/crazy/angsty/spacey/angry girl. But all of the REALLY brilliant people are at least a little nuts, and since I'm the crazy one, therefore I'm the real smart one muhahahaaa!

 

If it gets to be too much to take I'll just pretend to be in excurciating pain and yell "RELAPSE!" lol

I'd like to make something clear, a lot of people tend to think that us singers have it easy, but I will tell you, it is harder than it looks. I was so off on the timing, plus there was way too much guitar in the monitor, so I couldn't hear myself at all :blink:

The guy who plays guitar with me started calling me Ozzy lol! Ok, so durin the guitar solo I do this lil dance/thing and the drummer said to me "I like your dancing, it makes me excited" He miht not have meant it to sound as ...naughty...as it did...but when a guy tells you that something you do is making him excited.....

My mom used to be a singer, and still does it on occassion. I've operated the sound equipment a few times, so I've had to work with the monitor, adjust the mic and reverb levels, etc... Way too many buttons. :blink:

The show went really well tonight, even though the band messed up, lol, whatever it all worked out in the end w00t

 

I'll have pics eventually, but be paitent my dad doesn't know how to work the digital camera and had to use the old one, so you'll have to wait a little bit.

 

They'll be making a DVD of the concert, so when that gets mailed to us I'll take some screens from it too.

Eeeee! On Wedsnday I'm goin to Vegas for a Trek convention *ooooo I can smell the jealously* So, today I went and bought some new bathing suits (two for one sale!) One is a hot hot pink bikini, and the other is a silver one-piece halter thing; in the back it goes al low as posible without showing anything, and in the front it's got a v-ish neckline that oes down to the beginning of what's considered the midrift.

 

I also watched the Cowboy Bebop (anime tv show) movie today Ooooo! I feel another obsession coming on Tomarrow I'm gonna go buy some CDs and see if any Cowboy Bebop eps are out on DVD to keep me occupied during the flight to Vegas.

 

I can't find my iPod it must have gotten moved somewhere weird while we moved stuff during the adition

So instead I got a lil InuYasha, a Wilco CD, Star Trek communicator, and the graphic novel (another name for an anime-style comic book) .Hack (first volume)

 

I went ahead and watched the first ep on the InuYasha DVD (I was trying to save the whole thing for the trip, but my paitence failed me) and I'm totally hooked. That was only the first ep I've seen and I'm nuts for it *must have InuYasha*

 

And my dad surprised me with the original I Robot book (which I've heard is much better than movie)

 

All that and I still have around 130 pages left in Absolute Power. I have no excuse for getting bored.

Eeeee! Me ish in Vegas now :blink: I stole the phone cord from the fax machine in the hotel room and hooked up to the ol' 56k modem

 

I've had so much fun! Today at the convention Brent Spiner gave his lil speech/presentation/thing and he was soooo funny! :) I met lots of Klingons, a Ferengi, few Borg drones, and a really annoying lady from New York :blink:

 

I wore my TOS uniform, and (since it is red) this one guy was all "Oh no! She's gonna die!" and then I acted like I was gonna keel over LMAO!

 

And of course we did the rides at the Star Trek experience! B) They both kicked BUTT! But I think the bor one was way cooler :blink:

 

Eeeeee! on Sunday I get my pic taken with Leonard Nimoy!

 

Meh! Stupid hotel TV doesn't get Spike so no DS9 for me tonight ^_^
