  1. i went with archer. after all he's captain, so he must have more interesting stories as to how he got there. such as ones like in tonights episode first flight. but it was a close one, id love to have a nice quiet, dark, lonely, romantic dinner with t'pol. :look: sorry couldnt help myself. or howabout her and hoshi, ill stop now. but archer would be the most interesting i think, with trip coming in second, mayb both at dinner would be even more interesting conversation.

  2. already seen regeneration, so its gotta be the expanse. i hope they dont ruin the credist though, and change my theme song. great song, and fitting opening credits for what the show is. but new direction, i have faith that its still gonna be great, and maybe just keep some of the slow episodes at bay. but we'll have to wait and see.

  3. i disagree it was special. as VBG said in the other thread,

    Click for Spoiler:

getting to know the basis of the friendship between tripp (triple) and archer is great, and why hes called tripp. a bit of a rebelious side to archer comes out, and stays out. learn more about the origins of the nx-01, and how her captain became captain.

just allaround good. i gave it an 8/10, for being informative, and then some.

  4. not to mention this is a prequal to all the other shows, so all these meetings with aliens, and people we know, are first contacts.

like the bounty tonight, i think thats gonna go a long way to show the hatred between the klingons, and starfleet

. so its informative to see how things happened instead of just the end product of such meetings. that and what we can travel even in the 24th century sure isnt infinate, so we will be seeing the same people over again.

  5. i think upn's problem is that there still not on in a lot of places. we just got upn about 3 days before ent premeired, i was getting cranky thinking i was gonna miss a new trek. but we got it in time. but i know a lot of people that dont have it on satelite dish either. they need to get on the ball and get out there, for people to see.

frank parker is a clown, good humor.

  6. yes i agree 7days had great potential, im glad i found the reruns on tnn. i just hope to find reruns of su2 on scifi channel or something, i only started watching that before it ended. i liked the male cop and the troll, they were always trying to kill eachother it was hilarious.

  7. yeah, its a great place to come too. lots to read, and talk about. heated debates, but friendly.i havent played my medal of honor on line, in over a month because of this place. any chance i get i check my mail for replys to posts im tracking. always takes me more than the couple of minutes i say it will. my wife hates me. lol :look:

  8. I've finally seen the complete run through of DS9, with a couple of missing episodes here and there. So tonight I finished with What You Leave Behind.

I'd like to know what everyone's opinion of this episode is? Maybe because I liked the show so much but to me this was one hell of a sad final episode. I haven't seen All Good Things since it's original airing but End Game was happy. The crew finally back in the Alpha Quadrant, all in one piece, where as What You Leave Behind has Odo leaving Kira, O'Brien leaving DS9, Sisko leaving Cassiday and Jake, and so forth. The only happy parts are Bashir finally finding love and Worf going with Martok and at least we know from the TNG movies that Worf is still doing good.

In a way it was a clever way to end the show, kind of finish everyone's running story, where as End Game just ended out of nowhere (what the heck happens to everyone back on Earth!?!). Seeing What You Leave behind really drives home the fact that I think us DS9 fans really need a DS9 movie, or least have most of the cast involved in a multi-cast movie... because everything was too sad to leave as is.

its not often you have a series finale that actually lives up to hope, and is very good. DS9 is my favorite trek series, and one of my all time faves, so i was happy to see it end well. i just hope to see some movies with the DS9 crew back. :look:

  9. SU2 was pretty funny, 7 DAYS was cool,i watch that now weekdays after TNG on TNN at 4:00. the sentinal was ok. but upn doesnt know how to keep an audience, obviously. they need to do some restructuring or something. even mediocre shows last longer somtime on the other channels. SU2 and 7 DAYS should've definately been around longer.
