i had to say mccoy i love all his one liners, and hes got a great sense of humor. spock lives long, but no good time can be had being totally logical always, and kirk, i just dont know. i like mccoy. but if you put up scotty i might of picked him, he was a great engineer, and funny as well, plus i think he probably would get more women than mccoy.lol.

yeah thats about all you can say about it. my wife was looking at it, and of course as a woman,(sorry, not trying to offend any of you out there) she had to find something wrong with her, and it was, "eech what an ugly belly button". lol that was all i could do was laugh, to pick something like that out. lol. oh well. gotta love her anyway, i did marry her after all.

as ive said before, im horrible with names, but my favorite would have to be, the one where they go back in time and bring the jet pilot on board the enterprise, and wasnt there another one where they went back in time, and found some other traveler there. also the one where they went to the planet that everyone followed the guidelines of the book on chicago gangsters, shore leave, then all the rest.

usually you can tell a little something about someones actual character by what comes through in the character they play. shatners parts in anything alwasys seem a little condecending, and arogant, thus i tend to beleive that he is the guilty party. although i really dont know for sure. its just a gut feeling. but i always liked kirk, but you can just see something there.

it would be me and my wife. IF i can talk her into the whole TREK thing. lol. but the extra trips to the grand canyon, and the hoover damn sound great, maybe i can use that as an angle too, also i have family in arizona as well. what a coincidence, also maybe by then ill be living in NORFOLK, we can fly out together.lol. all high hopes, but gotta dream about something. ill be in norfolk in june for my civil service test for the fire dept, so its possible. we'll see.

i had to go with the maybe, i would love to go but it all depends if i get a job, and some money by then, then if i can get the time, then the big thing, MY WIFE HATES ANYTHING TREK, AND SCIFI. but we both always wanted to go to VEGAS, so maybe i can use the cheaper group rate to entice her, we'll see. but it sounds like a lotta fun, oh yeah and june 04 will be my 7th anniversery, better yet.

i think for the most part the vulcans know that we humans try to do the honorable thing, if not always the logical thing. we all have our pros and cons, and they know our cons coulld be worse. so their taking a liking to us already, and i dont think that theres any kind of huge conspiracy or anything.

well farscapes series finale was already here, and gone. so i dont think you'll get a repreive. but then again how many shows season finales have done them justice, unfortunately not too many. as far as the stargate fans, any of you watch the monday night marathons. i love the show. as far as enterprise, i just started downloading episodes from BEARSHARE, pretty cool.

as i said in another thread, it is clearly both. primary objective, peacful exploration, sencondary objective, defensive, and offensive tactics when needed to protect earth or any other planet in the upcoming federation of planets. when out in the unkown making first contact, you need to be militarized to be safe from aggresive beings. like the romulans, and the klingons.

it obviously both, any organization can have a primary objective, and a secondary objective. in starfleets case its exploration first,(supposedly, probably), defensive,offensive second. they obviously need to be prepared to defend themselves, and occasionaly go on the offensive, as seen throughout the different series. there really shouldnt be any argument over that. IMHO

i do agree words can be harsh, and hurtful. but also that'll only affect a person as much as they let it.

well now on to first contact, they'll probably be ugly little things. lol.

so how many of you think that GENE GRAY didnt die but moved on to a higher plane of existence. especially with that smile at the end by XAVIER. also i agree totally with crims COLOSSUS was awsome, and i sure hope to see alot more of him in the third installment. DAMN i wouldnt want to run into him in a dark alley. lol how about that female wolverine, i dont know about the blades coming out of her fingertips, how can she bend, and use her fingers if there is adimantium in them, its indestructable once its hard. how about when wolverine got shot in the head that was pretty cool too, when the bullet popped out of his head.

 

 

 

 

well after seeing it again, i must raise my solid 7, to a solid 9.5. i leave .5 because no matter the show or movie theres always something that can be better. OH YEAH, AND HOLLE BERRY IS SSSSSOOOOO HOT, AND LETS NOT FORGET REBECCA ROMAJN STAMOS, SSSMMMOOOKKKIIIINNN, I LOVE THE PAINTED ON LATEX COSTUME. MMMMMMMMMMMM. sorry went into a zone. lol.

Now keep in mind I never really read the comic book but back in the day I'd collect marvel trading cards, and on the back they'd have facts and information on characters. Anyways, the point is Jean Grey will come back as Marvel Girl (a name they probably won't use in the movie because it sounds funny). Basically she has complete control over her powers and can do some crazy stuff including controlling her own body so that she can fly. When her eyes went red and she had that glowing aura at the end there, that's essentially Marvel Girl's thing when she uses her powers. So don't worry, if they stay somewhat true to the comic book she is still alive and will be back for the next movie extremely powerful.
