but who wants a movie based on books. ive never even seen, much less read any of the books. how can they make a new cast for a movie, when we've never seen them to get into their characters? going with whats already there is the only way to go for most of us, and majority does rule, last i knew.especially if your still gonna try to get the occasional trek liker, or avid movie goer. at least they'll know DS9, or even, ech, VOYAGER, for that matter. but not something unheard of. IMO

i like enterprise e from insurrection, but i love the defiant was my favorite, but now with ENT i like the first enterprise. its got a good look to it, and its my new favorite.

LONG LIVE ENTERPRISE

DS9 ALL THE WAY. DS9 was/is the best series with ENT in a close second(of course this is after TOS, but thats not an option). VOYAGER left nothing for a movie, and in my opinion was not a good series in anyway. so it wouldnt be a good movie, but i want to see more of DS9, i wasnt done with that show when it ended, maybe with some cast from TNG, or someone from VOYAGER, but not a VOYAGER movie.

had to go with the sisko, he was a great leader, and strong in will, i want someone who's going to do what they feel is right, not what the preasure of what others think affecting them. archers his running mate. they would both whip this country back into shape.

TOS want born, but watched a lot of it before the movies came out.

TNG pilot- spuratic- wasnt into it for a while, then it started to get better to me after a few years

DS9 pilot-end with spaces in between we didnt get it for a while, then it was only on at 1:00 am so it was hard to watch everyone-but its my favorite to date

VOYAGER pilot-spuratic-was mainly a disapointment to me-my opinion-caught end though-still disapointed

ENTERPRISE pilot-current-love the show-looking forward to another 5 years

wasnt quite old enough to just go to a movie without an adult for the first two, its an excuse anyway.

i just watched INSURRECTION again for the first time in at least a few years, WOW, it was better than i remembered, not as good as first contact, but none the less a good movie. all the discussions here at startrekfans.net have made me really get into the movies again, and i've even been watching TNG on tnn. so what do you all think of INSURRECTION? let me know, im curious. cant wait to get NEMESIS tomorrow.

I have all the ornaments except the TOS Enterprise ornament,which sells for about $400.00 now!

i was looking on ebay last night and found the TOS enterprise for about 125.00, a lot, but better than 400.00. check it out if you want, hopefully when i go back to work, and catch up a little i'll be able to buy that and a couple of the others i dont have.

i was just checking out ebay, theyve got a lot of stuff for star trek in general, and a lot of the ornaments. when i go back to work maybe ill be able to buy some stuff.

in todays day and age i never thought one could gain popularity doing smoking commercials. interesting.

so anyone here have any of the hallmark startrek ornaments. i started with the romulan warbird and kept going after thtat, i wish i got the first one, the TOS enterprise, oh well. this christmas i asked the wife to get me a couple of ornaments, but if she only got me one, ii wanted the ENTERRISE, it looked so coooool, so she only got me two, of the three i asked for, guess which one she didnt get me. eeehhhhh , oh well. anyone here have a second one they want to give me.

 

I suck at languages...I can only "speak" sign language, and I know braille,

sighn language eh. is someone you know deaf? and braile is not quite so common either, never knew anyone who did that unless they were blind, thats cool. my mom, and step dad are deaf my step dads going blind too, so thats really gotta suck. but not much anyone can do about it. so i grew up with sighn language, but any other language forget it, never took it, never do it.

No one I know is blind or deaf, the languages just...interested me (I'm not fluent or anything, I can just speak it)

well thats cool, its nice to see people learn it just to learn it. it helps deaf people not feel so left out in the cold. i know my mom gets excited when she sees a hearing person able to speak to her in public. makes her feel more normal.(i know shes normal, but you know what i mean)

creative juices and everything else, i havent been so into startrek in such a long time till this sight came around, i went out and bought FC, am about to watch insurection again, and want to start buying the rest of the movies on DVD now, tuesday out to buy nemesis. this place is great. im never going back.

not silly, anything to make our final years here on earth as bareable, and pleasant as possible. so you go find the funding to start it, and were all right behind you.

so for those of you who like x-men have you ever seen mutant x. from what ive seen pretty good show, similar to x-men, i think must be a live action version instead of the cartoons. but does anyone else here watch it and know the actual premise of the show, and can share it here with us.

well im going to see it again friday, so now i guess ill have to stay to see the end credits. so put it in a spoiler, let us know what we missed pppllleeaasssseee.

its not worth getting worked up over nothing, for as nothing has happened yet, so we all must wait and see what happens next season. we can only hope that they make it good. and not make us cry
