My college major is Business/Accounting.

One episode I feel doesn't get the credit it deserves is season 2's "Peak Performance," when Riker takes command of the Hathaway during a battle simulation. There's probably nothing really special about it, but I think it's just a great ep overall. It always keeps me entertained. :)

Peek Performence is difenatly a great episode. It really does show the difference in command styles between Riker and Picard, and the guy who played Kolrami (I think he passed away earlier this year or last) was great.

I love watching the olympics. We have won a few gold a smattering of silver and the same goes for bronze. I am glad they have something for the hard work and dedication, especially when I live in a country that has for 60million people + only 20 olympic sized swimming poos nad limited facilities.

 

I am glad all rich or poor have had an opportunity to  compete on this level and does anyone find it ironic that when the highly paid tennis professionals  reach the olympics they always get beat in the first stages and t amatures???

 

I have been watching the badmington, I used to play at grass roots levels and was pretty good. It is a hard game and you have to hae strategic skills, but it is also fun.

Also, I think they were giving a lot of thier guys (Leno and Conan) time off. You probably havn't been missing anything.

Can one program the board to just see specific forums and not others.  What I mean is say I wanted to see the DS9 forum but not the Enterprise forum.  Can I do that, like one can do on trekbbs, or do we not have that capability.

Kind of like that. I'm talking about hiding forums so you won't see them on the main page if you don't want to. Like I siad, if it's a hassle, don't worry about it. I thought the posters might have the ability to do it themselves, so it can make board navigation easier.

If it was too much hassle, don't worry about it. I was wondering if the posters themselves could do it, but I guess they can't. Thanks though.

Kes was a whole lot more interesting. I was watching all of Season 1 a few weeks back and I couldn't believe how much Kes had an impact to the series (and to the Doctor) than what I originally thought. She was so calm, innocent, and was the only one to treat the doctor with respect. I really liked her in Before and After (When she got the new look) but she was also really good in the first season. That was an insult what they did to Kes and her fans in "Fury."

Even though I liked Pale Moonlight, I thought it was kind of overrated. I guess what Sisko did made me go so-what and I didn't mind. Besides, it was Garak who really pulled off the extreem thing, and the federation approved of the plan. I did like Sisko's final log though.

The only two I have seen is Tommarow is Yesterday, City on the Edge of Forever, and Assignment: Earth. I liked COTEOF the best because it was classic drama.

I don't see why It shouldn't. We are close to 40 years since it was originally on, and trek is more popular than ever. I know I plan to buy the DVD's even though I havn't seen the series yet. I've seen some episodes and am really looking foward to seeing the others, like Errand or Mercy or The Doomsday Machine. Hopefully if paramount doesn't screw this up, there will be a new generation of fans of Star Trek.

Watching the Giants/Mets game.

I just like Star Trek, TNG, DS9, and the first four seasons of Voyager. I havn't seen TAS and don't particulary like Enterprise, even though it does have potential. My Favorite though is DS9.

That's just wrong.

We always talk about the very good episodes (Best of both Worlds, Yesterday's Enterprise) but we never mention other good episodes. One example, and my favorite underrated episode is the best episode of season 2, Contagion. There was mystery, cool special effects for the time, Romulans, and Picard ordering Earl Gray Tea for the first time.

If they are, than Phelps would still qualify. I really hope not, not after someone like Carly Patterson wins gold, which was really special.

Not only a pass but an 81 yard TD on his first play as an Eagle in Philadelphia.

 

Also I think the QB has a lot to do with it. There was a lot of tension between Owens and Garcia last season.

Well, both Niners and Raiders might not do all that well this year so I don't have much to look foward to. Besides, football doesn't officially start for me until the Olympics are over.

I did as well. One of the greatest moments in the olympics I have ever seen.

I'm looking foward to normal survivor again. I hope it's just as good or better than All-Stars.
