  1. Its not like i am keeping count but they are skipping some :naughty:

Although what i have seen ..i have liked

Yeah they are. If you have seen the Marathon though, at least they have played the episodes they skipped once, but what spike is doing by skipping the two/three parters when they are trying to introduce the series is wrong. I don't understand it. Thank god I was able to see the Circle Trilogy this last weekend on DVD though.

  2. All of the season's were great, I think season 1 was probably the "weakest" of the season's but they got stronger each year.

Like I've said about season 7 though, it had more of my favorites then any other season. The only thing about season 7 that I really didn't care for was the way they focused on Winn at the end. I never liked her character.

Season 6 had some great episodes too, and I've always said that season 6 has the best of all Star Trek's with "In The Pale Moon Light".

And it had the worst of trek with Valient and Profit and Lace but that's all subjective.

Season 7 is the weakest season IMO. It just seemed like there was too much focus on holosuite adventures, and normal life on the station (And 1 to many Ezri episodes) rather than the War. I think the war should have ended a lot earlier so some unanswered questions would be addressed like Bajor's entrence into the federation. Also, I didn't like what happened with Jake, or Ben going to live with the prophets. The Penence should have been something else, like not being able to live on Bajor ever or something.

  3. I was watching this episode today, and I am always amazed how much it improves with subsequent viewings. I remember when I thought the episode was just Ok the first time I saw it, but it has turned out to be one of the best episodes of the series. Duet is such a cool, yet tragic episode and the more I see it the more appreciation I have for it. The chemistry between Visitor and Yulin (Guy who played Marritza) was great, and the themes probably makes this episode a timeless classic. I knew DS9 was going to be unique when Marritza laid one of the best quotes of the series on us, "What you call genocide, I call a day's work." I also love it because of it's ties with what Opaka told Kira in "Battle Lines." Kira is on a Journey of self discovery after killing all her life and the pain she has over the atrocities of the occupation. The final scene was just brillent because it showed Kira taking a step towards self-recovery. The ending is such a haunting and tragic scene that it in itself made the episode a classic.

Also, it proves one thing. It takes three seasons for a trek series to get good...BS.

  4. I was just wondering about something. When someone is joined to the symbiont, aren't thier life memories integrated into the host. Spicifically, when Dax went back to Jadzia, wasn't she supposed to get every memory Verad had, even before he was joined. I ask because it seemed like he was ignored later on in the series. Ezri was host #9 but shouldn't she have been host 10?

  5. So far I am sticking with my above predictions.

    Click for Spoiler:

If Rob does go, it won't be this week (Thursday) but on Sunday and would be at least in the final 3. I'm not really sure how I think the final 3 will work out but I have a strong feeling it will be Jenna, Amber and Rob.

    Click for Spoiler:

I hope Jenna leaves this week. I'm beginning to not stand her.

Just carious, what will you be watching: Survivor, or the final night of Friends. Why CBS put it's thursday night lineup against friends this week is beyond me.

  6. TNG. Nothing beats the planets and Pat's voice

    Best Theme Song...Visually

But hey, you're Mrs.Picard, when Patrick Stewart is involved, nothing else matters to you...

Hey, there are some nice visual shots at the beginning of the segment. Besides, with the ENT D, it adds to the beauty.

  7. Enterprise has the best theme song visually. It gives you a sense that this ship is an explorer, doing something that's never been done before.

Of course now that would mean it's Dated because it's no longer a ship of exploration any more.

  8. I'm saving my vote till I see and get the episode title but one DS9 space battle stands out in my memory to this day; during it a Klingon BC gets clipped by a torpedo, it goes spinning madly and breaking up as it went. At the time I thought that was just the coolest battle scene effect I had ever seen on Trek.

That wasn't Return to Grace was it.

Thanks for the replys all. It's just frustrating some times that 24 hours later, the thread isn't even touched. I've gotten that a lot here.

  9. I don't want to sound mean, but I DON'T LIKE BEING IGNORED. If someone just votes for something, I can appritiate that, but I have created so many threads in here that seem to go ignored and with as active as this forum is, I want some aknowledgment.

    Sheesh. <_<

  10. It's a great episode, but I don't know that I would like to go such a place without  knowing beforehand what exactly was going on.  That way I could make some kind of attempt to control certain thoughts.  Imagine that though, you could have anything you want (or anyone  :)) at anytime you wanted it.  What a  place.

    Sounds like paradise...more or less. B) :)

  11. This is what bothered me about this episode. While Sisko didn't kill anyone or even threaten to kill anyone, it didn't look like there were any consequences to his actions. Hell, at the end he and Dax were even laughing about it. In contrast to the brillence of ITPM where in a time of war Sisko had to make a dicsion and felt remorse about it. It's a shame too. FTU was a good episode (Eddington and Sisko had great chemistry and Eddington became much more enjoyable) it could have been really great. It's a good thing Blaze of Glory showed what FTU didn't.
