  1. Im just wondering about all the kids who were on the Enterprise D. I mean, when it crashed they got the Enterprise E. But this had no provisions for kids, so where did they go? Did a lot of the Enterprise D's crew re-assign to other generational star ships? Did crewmembers leave them at home and go on about the galaxy?

  2. Data copied all his memories, everything that he was into B4. La Forge said that B4 would be Data, essentially.

Data died. He died! That's it. It was a sacrifice. Poignant, a feature of the story. It happens.

However, we saw at the end of Nemesis that those Data memories were starting to re-surface in B4. Taking hold as in were.

So in the next film, should there be one, if they want to use Brent Spiner and the 'character' of Data, then can just have B4 with all of Data's memories inside. ie a copy of Data. After all, he was a program and could be copied into the corect format.

And yes he would be VERY SUBTLEY different as he would have the little bit that was B4 in there as well. But that wouldnt matter.

The character will almost be like Dax. Different body (though identical in every respect as Data himself stated) with all the memories and programming of Data inside.

Simple. Comprende? I dont want to hear any more nonsense about Data surviving, B4 swapping places with him, blah blah blah.

  3. You find the Son'a to be evil?  The Son'a are just a small collection of misguided Ba'ku.  If the Son'a are to be truely evil, wouldn't one have to consider the Ba'ku to be truly evil.  I say this just for arguments sake.  As for the Borg and Dominion, they do seem quite evil.  But I find that if I think of the borg as a hive of bee's the don't seem as evil but rather, a species trying to survive.  The Founders are very evil in my opinion, but the Jem'hadar and the Vorta seem less evil to me, as they are slaves that are forced to do evil things by their genetic masters: the Founders.

    Erm, yeah. I think....

  4. Star Trek: Zimma Frame

Captain Picard knackers his hip and has to go to Star Base 345625 to get it replaced. Meanwhile Troi has gotten trapped under Riker's belly after he has a heart attack during nookey. Beverly Crusher tries to get to the scene but has lost her teeth in a turbo lift and cannot remember her name. Geordi cannot live without Data as no one else will listen to his boring stories about intermix chambers and coolant leaks and so decides to end it all by throwing himself into the warp core. However, the lights make him dizzy and he has to have a little sit down first. Worf's hair falls out and his senility causes him to fire phazers at a random planet, killing 2 million people.

"The adventures of the USS Enterprise-K. To boldly go where... where are we going again?"

    lol

  5. Im gay. Blah de blah. And I have a very straight friend. I mean, VERY!!! He hates gay people. And he is my best mate. So I found it funny whenever Julian Bashir 'came out' about being a genius. Because of O'Brien's questions and confusion. He stayed his mate (as my mate did with me) yet had all these questions... ha ha ha

  6. If I was her, to return to my point, I would have had a different outfit each week. R-E-P-L-I-C-A-T-O-R!!!!!! I know it may have cost a lot in production terms (good Lord, did u know how much each episode cost!!!) but they could have afforded a new frock ech week for Deanna. No probs....

  7. I know this may sound silly but the Klingons and the Romulans never really seemed a threat in the real sense, to me. Now call me young, or call me naive, but they have never seemed 'evil' in the sense of the Sona, Dominion or Borg. Maybe it's because TOS was something I got into in the wake of TNG, but have you ever felt that the Romulans and the Klingons were a real threat?

I know that in the movies we had Krudge and co. But through TNG and DS9, these adversaries have become diluted. Even the 'villans' of TOS, Kang Kor and Koloth have been reduced to 'honourable' old men by DS9. We have come to the point whereby Picard is 'buying a drink' for a Romulan officer in Nemesis. The Romulans in Nemesis look like unsure idiots. Letting their Empire fall into the hands of a human clone from a mine shaft. I mean .... tsk tsk. Silly billies! The Borg have force (dispite Voyager's (I'm trying to say a bad word but can't)y dillution) and even the Sona in the form of Ruafu had a determination that made them true villans. But the Romulans have become'play pals' that make them no longer a threat.

    Or was this the intention........???

  8. T'Pol. After resigning her commission and being around humans so much she will play with empotions and do different stuff. Also, i feel that the writers and producers will want her to lose some of that 'woodenness'she had in the first two series (the manikan feel) and give her more body. (no not physically ha ha)

  9. Kira. By far she has been the most action driven person and has nerves of steel. Her Bajoran maliche training along with her extensive knowledge of tactics would make her my first choice for captain. Also, me and her could go for coffee and have girl talk. lol

  10. Smallville is currently my favourite show on television. It has great story lines, a brilliant cast and is a lot more intelligent thatn you would expect. The premise of good and evil is heavily blurred to illustrate how in life, there is no real right our wrong, and just our ow perception of what is good and bad. Lex Luthor is not simply 'a bad man' and Clark 'the good guy'. Indeed the last season ended with Clark making a decision that could be classified as very bad indeed. While Lex suffers at the hands of his pushy manipulative father. The story lines swing from semi-continuous to one offs, with a good over all sense of direction. Next season i look forward to .....

    Click for Spoiler:

the arrival of business rival to Lex, Bruce Wayne (Batman) and Lois Lane.

Charmed is another series that has grown on me. I started watching the new series on one channel, and a much older series on another channel. Again, once you get to know the characters, the show does grow on you. But it feels more like 'one for the girls' in it's kick *buttocks* girl power action and boyfriend trouble. The Halliwell Girls do have a certain 'charm' however, that is appealing. And the storylines are fairly upbeat.

    Any comments?

  11. I think that it should be set after Enterprise and before Star Trek:TOS. This is because there will be a new audience build up for Enterprise and for them it will carry on their interest and maybe lead them into the world of established Trek a bit more.

There should definitely be a star ship. Faster than the NX-01. Maybe that Daedaleus class. Maybe developed a bit more like the Pasteur on "All Good Things". The Captain should be an alien. We have never had an alien captain. This would reflect the more developed nature of Star Fleet.

I would like to see the Romulan war as an arc. More usage of the Beta Quadrant. Less 'alien threats'. It's getting too vilolent now. A disease maybe. Or a political problem. More fun - definitely. More tongue in cheek. TOS and to an extent, TNG had a camp quality that has been lacking amidst the depression of Dominion wars and 70 thousand light years from home.

I dont think any definite idea can really suraface at the mo. And to argue like you have been arguing throughout this thread is childish. There is a lot of foot stamping and bad mouthing going on. Like, come on, this is supposed to be fun. I suppose, to play along with the spirit of this thread, I would:

Call my ship The Hercules. It would have a crew of 250 and would be the most powerful ship in the fleet. Science and Exploration.

The Captain would be Antarian. With fierce features. I would like him to look lik the aliean crewman on the Saratoga on Voyage Home and the Federation President from Star Trek 6. That look was cool. Very Ulysses 39.

There would be at least one more alien on board. Maybe a female Andorain, whom no one quite trusts.

Their voyage will take them past Romulan space (war etc) but that will not be the main preoccupation. There will need to be a mystery that will unravel. And so forth...

  12. No i'm not proud of this. Only an *buttocks* hole would be proud of that. It was unfair in that he pushed me first and yet I got thrown out. I pushed him back too hard and he fell over and so my action looked worse than his. There three gay bars and one club that has a really good gay night so I could go to that. It's not a very big city!

  13. Too much i think. It's a big galaxy. I would rather prefer that T'Pol turned out to be a Vulcan lesbian. Im sure that that Ponn Far episode would get high ratings.

''T'Pol is stuck with Hoshi and Lt Tiffany Pertwell in the de-contam chamber after a power cut on Enterprise. As Trip tries to restore air conditioning (in his vest of course) the heat rises and an ever sweaty T'Pol bursts into full blown Ponn Farrrrrrrrr''
