  1. If only we saw the Cardassian Federation War, then we could get a good look at how they stack up. It seemed like the first time we saw the Cardassians, they were hopelessly outgunned by a Galaxy class starship. Even a Nebula class, sister class of Galaxy more for science, destroyed a freighter and Galor class ship even with them having the Phoenix's prefix codes

Yeah, I always wished we could've seen that war.

  2. The Klingons would totally own the Cardassians, period.

The TNG-era Cardassians were actually kind of awesome, but the TNG-era Klingons still would've slaughtered them outright till Lakarian City dripped with their blood.

And DS-9-era Klingons vs. DS-9-era Cardassians? Well, I believe General Martok summed it up best:

"Let me remind you that these are Cardassians we're standing on!"

    :)

    :) Heheheheheh...my girl.

  3. I love "Soldiers of the Empire" and "You're Cordially Invited" (when Martok's singing). But I LOVE "By Inferno's Light" (?) when the Kem'Hadar warrior says, "Victory is life" and bloodied and battered Worf confidently replies with, "Today is a good day today." *shivers*

    It's:

    Jem'Hadar

    and

"Today is a good day to die!"

Duh, sweetheart. It's called a typo.

  4. Gee, let's see.

Dukat carried the asinine belief that he should execute his own daughter to restore his family honor simply because he couldn't keep it in his pants while in Bajoran territory (DS9:"Indiscretion"). Then, when the changeling-Bashir-creature person tried to blow up the Bajoran sun, Dukat didn't flinch at the fact had the plan succeeded, his own daughter would've perished (DS9:"By Inferno's Light"). Just FYI.

Furthermore, Klingons rule. :P Yeah. That's right. I said it again. :blow: And as you can see on my Klingons vs. Cardassians thread, I'm right. They may stink, they may appear rough and uncivilized, but I can't help but notice how they inspire consistently awe, fascination, and fear. No matter the series, Klingons tend be featured in some of THE best episodes. I've heard lots about "the Klingon Feasts" but I don't hear about Vulcan, Romulan, or Cardassian gatherings. And let's not forget that the beloved character Worf appeared longer than any other Star Trek character.

  5. Q + Vash = a 1 rating. If Q was minus this ep, then it would've gotten a four. Nice line from Q though "You hit me, Picard never hit me!" Sisko's reponse "I'm not Picard". Otherwise a dud.

    LOL - not a Q fan, I take it?

  7. They could have gotten another actor to play Data. Just say he changed his appearance.

A new face, kinda like Dr. Who lol.

Ooh yeah...a younger, hotter Data! I'd've been down with that! Shoot--they could've come with an entirely new android. I understand that Soong was some uber-genius, but I think by now they would've learned to make more Soong-type androids. I mean, c'mon y'all!

  8. Damar...killed that traitorous wretch Ziyal (I know some of you like her, but she betrayed her father and i just can't repsect that at all)

Yeah, but he kept either trying to kill her or leaving her to die. Doesn't exactly inspire loyalty if you ask me. She wanted so much to love him and be a part of his life, but when push came to shove, he kept showing her just how expendable she was. Until she actually died, of couse. That's when Dukat finally realized that a universe without Ziyal just might suck.

    And Klingons rule, luv.

  9. I'm gonna say no. Alliance with an outside species is in direct contradiction with the nature of Borg. Characters like Seven of Nine, One, Hugh, Icheb, and others don't count because once they were disconnected from the Hive Mind they're weren't really "Borg" anymore. In order to function/survive outside the Hive Mind, they had to adopt singular identities and abandon the mission of assimilation. Even the crazy ex-drones in "Descent" didn't want to assimilate anymore, and they had individual names; in short, they too were no longer Borg.

  10. My thoughts exactly. In DS9: "Soldiers of the Empire" the Klingon Leskit talks about how it was an honor to kill Cardassians, because when you're fighting them, everything is a '"plan within a plan within a plan." Cardassians are efficient and have foresight. Capt. Kurn, however, explains to us that Klingons don't think about tomorrow, "because you may die" (as in eat, drink, and be merry).

  11. She said she wanted to leave because she didn't think her character was going anywhere. However, the season was barely over and already Star Trek had a massive fan base. I think it's 'cause she realized that as along as Marina Sirtis was alive and kicking, she'd never be the #1 sex symbol on this show.

  12. Who would win? We're a bit polarized over here. If Klingons and Cardassians went to war--without external allies--while at the peak of their empires, who would win? I don't think Dabo and I ever agreed on this one....

  13. Maybe the Judge is also a customer?

Most definitely. And God forbid strip clubs actually make an effort to keep their performers from getting beaten, raped, or staying healthy. Can't have that. You know, people have to learn that fantasy, when it's flesh and blood, is expensive. If you don't want to cough up some extra dough, then go home and put that infinite imagination the gods gave you for free to good use. The best kind of fantasy is the kind that stays upstairs anyway (IMO).
