LOL - you kinda read my mind.

Loathed the bringing back of the Yar creature, but I get that it was necessary.
Anywho, great quotes:
"Looks like we'll have to ignite the midnight petroleum."
-- Data
"Mr. Data, you're a clever man. In any time frame."
-- Picard
-
"Before you waste too many tears, remember... these are Cardassians lying dead at your feet."
-- Martok

I said three, and two of those points were earned by Picard. This was a decent ep, but it could've been done better.
I just wasn't convinced that a species so advanced as the wormhole aliens would need to be taught Existence 101.
-
I said a 4. Would've said five if they had focused more on the Duras sisters and less on Kira.
-
I said average. It contradicted other eps in which Odo's neutrality was declared respected by both Cardassians and Bajorans. In a split second, Odo goes from being respected as a neutral, just man focused on maintainting order and devoutly seeking justice to being treated like a detestable, murderous "shifter." It made sick to my stomach when his office got destroyed. It was also an ep that showed how Bajorans aren't too bright.

The other timeline problem I had with this episode was the casting of Bruce Maddox. The guy who played him (Brian Brophy) didn't look old enough to have been on the Academy committee at the time Data would have applied. He would have been barely a teenage at the time Data applied.I just watched the episode..... Id guess Maddox was at most 35.....Unless you wanna entertain the possiblity that in their time, 60 is the new 30 <_<
That and technology was Maddox's specialty, so...who knows what that psycho scientist came up with and then administered to himself?

Yes, the new robot King ads are lame as well.Oh, YES. I absolutely LOATHE that commercial.

So what if Cornbread and Ice Tea has took the place of pills an 90 proof B)<_< Quoi?
-
I agree. Insanity. Which they say often leads to genius, so...cheers.

Yup. Pretty much. Cardassians are all about ego when it comes to war. For Klingons, it's quite spiritual.
-
You know, on the Omega Sector, this thread is currently on its fourth page. General verdict?
Klingons win.

Nivea hand lotion.

He was very get-tired-of-able.

Five. A beautiful and creative ep, reminding us that time is irrelevant. Everywhere, at some place in the universe, an advanced species is walking. It also reminds us that no matter how advanced we become, our most ancient beliefs will remain with us. And once again, Brent Spiner represents.

Oh yeah....

"Watch your step, Odo. We're at war with your people. This is not the right time for a Changeling Pride Parade on the promenade."
- Quark

Well, until Worf's x K'Ehleyr showed up in "The Emissary"A-MEN.
And then theme song that plays is unforgettable.
-
Ew. I gave it a two. The script was unworthy of Patrick Stewart. I mean, I know what they were going for, but they could've done it sooooo much better.
-
I also gave it a five. Michelle Forbes rules, and yeah...Picard should've seen that coming. I mean, you don't get over watching your father get tortured experience. And after his own adventures in "there are five lights" land, not to mention that Starfleet officers were joining the Maquis left and right, Picard simply should've known better.
And the scene with the two of them in the bar kinda freaks me out ...and yes, I know they were just pretending.

Worf get electrocuted in "Lonely Among Us."I remember that ep title but not that ep. Hmmmmm....
-
If that's the case then...need anyone even ask the question again?
-
Play Captain Kirk once more.

I wonder if he thought it was worth it. I mean, why try to stop an angry woman who's under the influence? Why not just let her go and then call the cops and give 'em all the car's info? Which was he trying to do, save his marriage or his car?
