    Love is a biological process, but it is also much more than that. It is part of ones spiritual self. The falling in love part is the biiological process and how you change and grow as a person as a result of that love process is the spiritual aspect.

    Things changed for my a great deal 4-5 years ago when I was in grade 11. I had a really terrible group of friends. They were horribly cruel. So in reality, they were not my friends. So one day I just said enough is enough and found a whole bunch of great friends. I love my friends!

     

    My next big change should occur by the end of this year. I intend to move out of my parents place and into my own apartment by myself within that time. It should be a life changing event, which is what I'm looking for. I will also be getting my first full time job in the summer to replace school which I am now in.

    Yes that's certainly true! Personally, I don't understand why people would do the post padding thing. All it would get them is a better rank. In general I like to write longer, more meaningfull posts. Padding, IMO, is just a waste of time. As you can see from my rank, and when I first joined, I don't care about my rank. In fact, I think I"d rather stay as a captain.

    I think they would be useful to the borg. Just let the nanoprobes within the tribble multiply but remain dormant for a time being. Then just send a trible to a planet with people on it. It would eventually multiply. Then after a few days when there are thousands let the nanoprobes take action and sprout nanotubes out of the tribbles into people who are holding the loveable things. Without notice, a planet would be easily assimilated. Tribbles cause havoc again!

    A projectile weapon would be fairly easy to defend against (In the ST Universe). It's just a matter of making a shield to deflect the projectile. Worf did it in Fist Full of Data's.

    Worf did to that, but you must remember that that wasn't actually a bullet. It was just photonic energy. This means that, although, it would cut through a body like a bullet, a sheild would still register it as energy, just very concentrated energy. (but no so concentrated that it is true matter) I think what I just said made sense. I could be wrong though. However, even if it does make sense, it doesn't make a difference now that I think about it. A photon torpedo is a projectile weapon and a ships sheilds can stop that. Also, now that I think about this more, I realize that the bullets Picard used in FC were also holographic, just like Data's. There go's that point out the window.

    Yeah, I know but I like games that at least have a challenge and require some thought. For example: a food name game might go like this. Ice cream.... anyone can think of another food ending in m. So whats the point of the game? To mindlessley comp up with a food starting with m? Just not fun to me.

     

    So do crew promotions when they come up. Should we get rid of them?

     

    I think that is different. Encouraging people is all part of how any community works. But, I still don't like how they flood the "view new posts" when there are alot.

    Um, that disclaimer was a joke. I don't think anyone would really take offense to something non-controversial like name games so I thought it would be appropriate. So my question is: were you offended by the disclaimer or is your retort just one of playful sarcasm? Oh, and don't worry, I don't take offense to hardly anything here. I wouldunless someone made a harsh personal attack but that has never happened.

    Well I can't say I'm glad the such action had to take place. But I do think it was neccesary. That member ruffled my feathers, and clearly, the feathers of other members. I am glad, however, that this board does not tolerate that kind of stuff. That is exactly what makes this place so great!

    Forgetting the trivialities pointed out my Adm.Speer I'd like to say that North Star should not be revisited in a new episode. Archer has too small of a ship to help them out any further. Archer did say that in the future, when Starfleet has more ships, and when the people of the planet grow up a little, Starfleet would return for them. All I want out a future episode is a mentioning of North Star. If there is no mentioning, I will be just as fine with that as well. Heck, if they could justify it, I would be fine for a revisting too.

    Speaking of Rajin, Degra and the other members were discussing a "she". They did not use her name. Perhaps they were refering to her? That was my thought while watching the show. The context in which they were talking about this "she" didn't really seem like it could be her. But Rajin is the only female we have met in the expanse that is involved with the Xindi in any way. We will see.

    Lately there have been a million name games going. They flood the "view new posts" section to the brim. Frankly, it annoys me a little. I wouldn't mind if they were a good use of time or interesting to read. But to me, they just seem like the "busy work" of our posts. They require no thought. They don't provoke any thought. And they just get in the way. I think they should be erased from the existence of this site. I think that they probably detract from the posting of quality topics. How about you?

    Sounds like fun. When I get the change I'm going to get one up there for me. I was going to do it the other day when I had the time but my trial version of Photoshop 7 timed out. I didn't feel like going through the hassle of fixing that at the time. Anywho, it's nice to see personalized banners. Makes the site really community-like.

    Alterego! Well done for bringing some finer points of my idea! The Iconian gate idea would be ideal for such a show. Once again, nice thinking! Also, Sisko could have reports as well because there was that time that the Dominion tried to make use of Iconian gates.

    Ya...um... what the guy above me said. According to the modern string theories, as I understand them, dimensions 5-12 serve to hold things as we see them together. They have alot to do with the first 3 dimensions. The way I "understand it" you couldn't use the other dimensions for travel. But I'm not very educated in this topic so I wouldn't truely know.

    I want a Star Trek monopoly but they don't seem to be made anymore. The only ones you could get are second hand. That's not good enough for me. I would love to see an Enterprise one.

     

    I do have a "STAR TREK: the trivia game" (I think that's the title) It's all about the original series and movies. The harder the trivia answer, the more spaces you move if you get it right. You have to manouver a piece (ship) through space to four places and then back to starbase. There are wormholes and the deadly klingon territory. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone in real life who knows enough about the original series to play with me. My friends are all fans of the other series. I've had it for 10 years and have never played. Oh ya, and it's a collector's item... there are only 100,000. Ya... like that's limited!

     

    EDIT: My good friend Sarah came over tonight. She and I played that game for the first time ever! What a conicidence I make this post in the same night!!!!
