  1. If I were Janeway's superior I would have ordered her resignation from Starfleet. She seriously violated the temporal directive. She altered 15 years of time. This means that some little boys and girl will never get the chance to even exist in the new time line. Janeway did this as an admiral, so why would I promote the Captain to one. I would have to worry that she may someday to an opportunity to change the future for some other reason. This could alter my life, and the life of my loved ones. I could not allow an officer with so little regard to the timeline to remain an officer. Sure, she destroyed most of the Borg collective but the ends do not justify the means. Janeway just doesn't have the moral backbone that Picard has. She should be able to accept that people die and things go wrong; not alter 15 years of peoples lives. Thats just not fair to anyone.

  2. If you think about it, people are already running around with technology in their bodies. Pacemakers, hearing aid implants, Hip replacement, and even vaccines ina way are a form of technology. But most is for medical purposes which I think is fine. The day people start putting cell phones in their bodies is the day I feel scared for humankind. After all, didn't Kirk say that sometime in our century we almost destroyed ourselves with technology. jk

  3. Haven't you heard? Dress uniforms have been replaced with Starfleet standard blue issue underwear. Laughs. No, I think your right, we haven't seen dress uniforms. I'd like to see that someday, but they will have to return to Earth before they can pick some up, so don't expect to see them in this season... unless they ignore that like they did with the phasers on Voyager. Ever wonder how they managed to aquire the more ergonomic phaser on Voyager on I think it was the second or third season. Laughs again.

  4. I dont' think that DS9 could work because Ds9's arcing plot was very in depth. To do justice to it in a movie would be difficult in 2 hours and would be self defeating to the movie because those who didn't follow DS9 completely would not understand the complexities. This means that the movie would have to be "dumbed down" to a broader audience and this would undoubtedly destroy the worth of making a DS9 movie. I say, leave DS9 as it is, or make a spin off television show.

Most of us know that B&B don't really want to do anything with Voyager in the Alpha quadrant, but they could always make a movie that involved a new Voyager equipped with a prototype slipstream. Thus they'd still get to play a role in the Delta quad. So I think making one Voyager movie would be cool cause at least we'd get to find out how life back home turned out for the crew. But if they do make a Voyager movie, which I doubt they will in the near future, I think they should include TNG cast in some way. Surely some of the Voyager crew will be on earth, which will be a good excuse for a run in with Beverly at Starfleet medical. Also, Voyager A's maiden voyage could include an escort by the Enterprise or Riker's ship the Titan until they go to slipstream velocity. Well, that's what I'd do with another Trek movie.

  6. So I went to their "newly designed" site today. And much to my surprise, the site was blank except for one little word at the top of the screen: "hello". I know the new site was having some issues but to scrap it completely is downright pathetic. I think they should have just kept the old site. It worked perfectly, and it looked like a Starfleet console cicra the 23rd century. The new theme is... just grey. Snooze. Just my opinion though.

  7. Personally, I feel that Star Trek isn't what it used to be. During TNG, the stories were much more thought provoking. As of late however, episodes have been focusing on too much action and special effects. I don't think it's the amount of episodes written, I think it's the loss of the winning formula.

  8. I have good reason to believe that the creatures from "Conspiracy" are not from the Delphic expanse. In Enterprise episode number 4, "Strange New World", the crew explores their first planet. While inside a tent, Trip and Mayweather get frightened when they see a "bug". If you pay close attention, this is the same bug as the "Conspiracy bug". While I can't say if this was the home planet of the bug, it makes it seem less likely that they would have originated from the Delphic expanse.
