  1. He's definately Elrond. It was pretty funny...me and my friend were watching LOTR FOR, and we just stared and stared at Elrond with our heads on one side for like, half an hour, and then finally my friend yellled out "oh my god, thats agent smith" and we 'Oooooh!-ed" but then people started throwing things at us and making weird "shh-ing" noices, so we stopped....anyways, the actor's name is Hugo Weaving.

I ALWAYS stay for credits. Coolness...guess I'll have to go watch it now.

And I'm the other way around - I sit there going, "Oh, that's ELROND!" (Either that or "That guy from Priscilla Queen of the Desert!)

  2. I write stories to relax, and Lady Narana is my favorite character. "Narana" came about simply because it was easy to type (I was fooling around on the keyboard, and it just came out), and I knew I'd be using it a lot (she's a recurring character).

Just for the record, I think your name is way cool - and very touching. Way better than mine.

  3. TOS - wasn't born, although I've now seen every episode at least once, and most many times.

TNG - watched first season, most of second, then petered out. Have seen probably 60% since then.

DS9 - Seasons 1-4 religiously (missed a few here and there, though), 5-6 spotty, 7 hardly at all. Catching up now.

VOY - Seasons 1-2, then an occasional ep.

ENT - I keep trying, but I've only seen 1 ep. Don't give up on me!

  4. The part with Nog is great fun in this episode! Bartering at its best! Of all of that material, I think the trade involving Sisko's desk is the funniest!

The conversations between Odo and Weyoun are interesting. W is at his fawning best - after all, to him, he's talking to a god. And Odo is so torn between telling him to get lost (and knowing that he can't) and trying to bolster him up to be his own being.

I haven't seen most of season seven - from what y'all are talking about, I can't wait until I can!

  5. I love II and VI, but I voted for II. It's powerful, but nostalgic to me. When I was in college, it was the only soundtrack I had with me, and I listened to it over and over and over and over and...............Of course, that was the late 80's, and most other tracks weren't out yet!

  6. I've gotten to like some Brit TV over the years. Keeping Up Appearances, Are You Being Served?, Whose Line, As Time Goes By, Doctor Who, and All Creatures Great and Small.

And what's wrong with liking The Avengers? I have over half the series on boxed set tape/DVD, and get more each birthday/Christmas. Ach, my wounded pride!

  7. I agree with Andrew Robinson...and Eisenberg in the later episodes (he wasn't on horribly much early on). Maybe it was better for them in a weird way. I know when the original Mission: Impossible was on, Martin Landau was listed as a special guest star every week, even though he was a cast member...it brought him more money. Maybe in the long run, they got paid better. I doubt it, but who knows?

  8. VERY emotional. I liked it, although it made me sniff a couple of times. Especially the end - but that's what it's supposed to be/do! It must have been so hard for Sisko to see Jake like that. A father is always a father, and no parent should ever have to see their children die.

Isn't that the one when the actress (Melanie) is Andrew Robinson's daughter? I thought she did a great job.

  9. Congratulations Lady Narana!!  Now down to business - EXTEND THE PLANK!!!!

    Whoo-hoo! I did it!!!!

And DARN - I forgot about that plank! Do I have to wear the old clothes???

    Thank you, one and all!

  11. I know I'm always saying this, but I feel so alone, because no one i know likes trek, (well except my dad).  Do you live in somewhere where like everyone is a trekkie?  Are all of your friends trekkies?  I don't know what it is, but I think Maine is a non-trek state (except for me and my dad of course :wow:) I wish my friends like trek! at least theres startrekfans.net :) thanks goodnesss...

Maine? I'm in Maine. You're not alone, TNG - my sis and I support you! (And my brothers only occasionally.)

That would be just too, too scary. I live in Waldo County, but I'm from Knox County. You?

  13. Thank you, Ktrek!  I was just coming to post that I found 3 (yes, three!) on the second season set.  They're the first ones I found all by myself on ANY DVD. :wow: Thanks again.

My apologies. Make that 10 (ten).
