May 30-31 Annualar Eclipse of the Sun - viewable in northern Alaska and the Yukon Territory.November 23 Total Eclipse of the Sun - viewable in Antarctica. "The associated partial phases will be visible from most of Australia and New Zeland's South Island, as well as from the extreme southern tips of Chili and Argentina." 2003 Farmer's Almanac
That doesn't help. Is there anything in there for viewable in the western US.

I was studying for an exam and totally forgot about the Luner Elcipse. I did see it at the end though and will remember when November comes around. Does anyone know when the next solar eclipse is?

I said Star Trek VI. Just listening to the score at the end to when they sign off was just magical.
However, I also just love the Star Trek V score. It was a great start to the movie, and a reason why I do like it.

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but this episode was AN INSULT TO ANYONE WHO IS A STAR TREK FAN. What the heck were they thinking bringing back a good character like Kes and have her turn evil forgetting what happened to her. She left with innocence, a gift to flang voyager across borg space, and when she comes back, she is not the same character. I really started Likeing kes in "Before and After," but this episode was an insult to the actress, the fans, and should have been for the writers as well. Like I said, what the frell were they thinking. They were thinking of making her a recurring villian, similar to DS9's Dukat. Given what they "could" have done, I'd rather have "Fury". At least she remembered who she was in the end.
Here's a question: After she evolved and such, what did she find that sent her into such chaos?
But she wasn't a villain, and making Dukat into a one deminsional villan was wrong too. Kes was an innocent young girl who had a great send off only to be ruined by this episode.
As for her caotic nature, she was blaming janeway for abandoning her. (Which is not true) She really wanted to get home, so she took out her "So-called" problems on janeway.

Which One?
I hadn't noticed but next time I see a beril episode like The Circle Trilogy, I'll look out for that.

All I have to say is that Guinan should have taken Troi's Job as counselor in "The Loss" when she had the chance. She was really cool and added much to the show.

Very nice. I am on Netscape 7 and it works great.

The one site I know of is northamericandvd.com. They are a canadian site, so thier shipping and handleing can get a bit pricy. Also, on Amazon.com and Half.com you can get a used box set for a very cheap price. I would say read what the user says and if it looks like a good buy go for it. I was able to find DS9 season 2 for only $65.00 US. That was nice.
Than you can always go with Ebay and hope the auction is going your way.

I voted for Kira and Odo because that relationship was developed better than any of the others. I mean the first glimpes of that was in "Necessary Evil" when thier relationship turns gray with Kira lying to Odo, but after that, it really developed into something great. I actually feel that some of the other relationships took something away from the other characters with a clear example being Worf and Jadzia. Jadzia just didn't feel the same from season 2-4 during that relationship for some reason.

Only in speaclised circumstances...I loathed Riker and loved Jadzia Dax. I'm not completley sure why but I always just thought that Riker was just too rash and unemotional as a character. Whereas Jadzia acts more like a real person and made me feel different emotions and perspectives of things... (Riker only made me feel a slight indegestion)
I might agree with you if we were talking about season 1 riker. He was stale, bland, and didn't feel real enough. However, just like Jadzia (Who also lacked emotion in season one IMO) he was able to lighten up and actually be himself. It was great to see real personalities being portrayed on screen.

Two Towars. I found TFOTR to be boring, and lacking an appropriate ending for a movie I paid $6.00 to go see.

Thank you for adding this forum Takara.
I think for the newcommers, this will be a good forum so they don't end up being lost.

I am pretty close to refusing to watch ENT. Also, I refuse to watch the last 3 seasons of Voyager. Other than that, anything is fair game.

Ranking them in order from fave to least fave:
TNG/DS9 (Yes I like both equally)
VOY
ST
.
.
.
.
ENT
Has anyone seen the Animated series.

After watching TNG's most frightening and dangorous enemy get wussified by VOY and ENT, (Fans of both shows, this is no intention of a bash) when you watch a borg episode of TNG such as "Best of Both Worlds" or "Q Who?" has your opinion of them changed. What I mean is when TNG first aired, the borg were scary, dangerous and basically a race not to deal with. However, because you know more about them and they have basically been used as a plot gimmick, does that nulify the impact they have on you when watching TNG?
For me, I try to forget that the borg have been wussified and still enjoy what the borg brought to TNG. Heck, last night I tried to watch "Regeneration" from the Point of Veiw of Archer and the rest of the crew. It was hard to spot, but I saw some TNG borg last night, even though I question why it takes so long to adapt to phase pistles at high power when phasers (Which should be more advanced) at normal power doesn't scratch.
So, has your opinion of TNG's borg changed or do you look at them as the cowards they are being portrayed as now?

How can "Plain Simple" Garak not be a name on this poll. Everything about him makes the episode better than it already was.
-
The episodes in the commercial are hardly ever the ones that are shown. Both Startrek.com and TNN have Remember Me and The First Duty listed for Bonus Treks - one Bev and one Wes.I heard that this week was supposed to be Wesley Uncut on TNN. Not that I am complaining or anything (I can watch whatever episode I want on DVD :o ) but Remember me is not a wes episode. They should have just advertised it as Crusher night or something. Also, there are much better Wesley episodes like "The Game," "Coming of Age" or "Journey's End."

Ranking the premieres in order:
Caretaker
Broken Bow
Emissary
Encounter at Farpoint
I have never seen the Star trek first episodes.

Welcome to the boards Murdock

I saw a post below talking about favorite pilots and I thought they were talking first episodes. :o What was the best First episode and if you can why?
I voted for Caretaker because it was the start of an interesting premise to the second best season voyager had. (Yes a first season can be good) It had intregue, a good cast of characters, and a great plot. Too bad after Cold Fire, we never saw the caretaker speices ever agian, which would have been nice.

Thanks to the Niners at TrekBBS to stuff the poll and have sisko come out the victor with a disadvantage. Now that is wrong.
-
I voted for Random person on TNG because I like Ensign Yates. Really alot of TNG's pilots were pretty good.
