Yay. No note from mom with things to do for today. :)

 

Oh dear, I had an interesting dream. I dreamed I met Pat. I was so shocked that I ran away at first, be he caught me and... ok this is a family board.... :(

 

This is gonna be one of the last days on which I can get up and switch on the computer without having to hurry to get to university. :P I'll miss my computer times... :(

Hm. I really have to find something to eat now. I'm hungry. I think I'll go with my all-time fave food. Fries. Yummy. :)

I have seen Pat with that much hair. Of course, it was fake, but still. It was that one episode of TNG (I don't remember the name) where, thanks to an alien probe, Picard lives out his life as someone else. The one where he learns to play the flute.

 

At the end, the person who's identity he assumes grows old and his hair grows out. Not fluffy, like in the above pic. But still... long, and more

 

Still, wonderful pics. The earliest I saw was him in Dune. I don't remember the year, early 80's, I think.

I hope University goes well for you and your schedule isn't all messed up! I'll miss talking to you so often, but my work should be getting really busy and stay that way until the end of December, so I won't be online as much as I like either.

 

Those are some great pics of Pat. I think he looks better without all the facial hair though. Stubble looks good on him, but a beard just hides his nice jawline. :)

The episode you mean is called "The Inner Light". Here's a picture:

 

 

The movie "Dune" is from 1983. It's not that good a movie, but still, Pat is in it, that makes it worth watching (at least for me). Here's a pic of Pat as Gurney Halleck, the character he played in that movie.

 

 

I have Pat's "first movie appearance on TV", that was back in 1974 and the movie is called "Hennessy". :) Pat's character dies after 30 seconds or something, but still, he's in the movie :)

Nothing so far for today. I'm hungry and I need to eat something.

 

Hm. I really have to go to the post office today, a friend of mine is waiting for me to send him a package full of posters of Star Trek characters he likes.

Nah, I didn't offer him posters of Jean-Luc. I need them myself. I'd never give away a pic of hubby.

 

Well, I'll look for something to eat now. Why can't the fridge be next to the computer?

Thanks I really hope I will do well, it depends on the professors as well. They can be nice - and they can be... erm... not so nice. I don't know them, I don't have one of those I had last semester... they seem to have vanished

Yap, Pat is the most wonderful actor in the whole wide world (at least for me )

As for Thailand... I'm looking for new information on that and I'll post it here ASAP (I have all my sources hunting for that ). As for his next projects I can only say that he said he wanted to return to the stage in England, maybe do another version of his one-man-play of "The Christmas Carol" in London this Christmas... That would be the perfect Christmas present for me from my mom... I already told her I want to see this man on stage, no matter what.

Maybe he broke up with his girlfriend and is hiding from her there!

 

Hopefully Pat will be doing a stage play near you soon! Kate Mulgrew is scheduled to do a play in Seattle next March... I don't know if I'll go or not... theatre tickets are so darn expensive!

Yeah, England isn't exactly that near, but it's closer than Broadway, of course, so I won't complain. Someone suggested to Pat he should do a play in Germany and he looked around and said "Yes, I really should do that." I totally agree with him :P

I accompanied my mom to the super market today and we bought a lot of things for me because she'll leave for a whole month on Thursday. :)

 

I just talked to one of my friends in America and I had a great time speaking some English again instead of writing it all the time. :P

 

Now I really have to get something to eat. Talking on the phone always makes me hungry.

Nothing so far for today. I woke up and my mom was sitting in front of the computer, so I took the time to pay a short visit here...

I don't have much time right now (mommy wants me to help her in the kitchen :( :lol: ) so there will be a supplemental log entry in the evening when I will return to the computer.

Did you know that the official Star Trek novels have a HUGE mistake in them when it comes to Pat's eyes?

- they always say his eyes are hazel, there even is a mini bust of Locutus that has HAZEL eyes, and this is simply not true. Pat has green eyes, with a small amout of gray in them.

Pat has the same problem, I think...

I love to look into his eyes when I watch his movies and sometimes his eyes really look hazel but in the next moment they look as if they were blue and then finally they return to look gray-green... :( :(

 

I had to do a lot of research to find out his real eye color :(

I second that! I like Pat's eyes. It cool that his eyes may change colors. Mine just stays brown.
