Not much so far for today. I'm enjoying another calm day at home. My holidays are coming to an end, though. October 18th means "back to university, less time for Pat"  :) . Oh dear, I don't want to    :)

 

I'm hungry. I guess I have to find something to eat. 

 

My friend has written me an e-mail, we wanted to meet tomorrow but she's sick, so she stays at home. I don't really object since I don't want to get sick now, the convention with Pat will soon take place and I just can't afford to be sick, it would be horrible.

Assuming I ever get lucky enough, I'll be sure to send you copies! Right now I'm just a working slob in a portrait studio... but who knows what the future holds?  :)

 

I also had to say that thanks to your posts, I bought a copy of Dad Savage on eBay recently. I'm not too sure if I like it or not. Sometimes it take me a few times before I really appreciate a movie.

 

Right now I'm leaning towards Safe House as my favorite Pat movie. Have you seen it and what do you think?  :P

Oh, really, you bought "Dad Savage" because of my log? That's so great to hear! I had to watch "Dad Savage" for three times before the movie got me hooked, it's a really complicated storyline.

 

I haven't seen "Safe House", but I know the story and I have some screenshots. The reason why I can't see it is that they simply don't sell it here. There is a region 1 code DVD, I know, but we're region 2. There is also a video, I know, but our video systems here don't support NTSC videos.

That's the reason why I haven't seen the movie. But I don't give up hope. Maybe, one day... I really want to see it, but they have never showed it on TV here either, just one time at pay TV channel, and that was years ago.

Not much so far for today. My computer is behaving strangely and the PC doctor will have to fix it. That will take some time, I think, he might even have to take the comp with him, but I will insist that he provides me with another computer as long as this one is gone. I can't live without a computer with internet access here.

 

Well, I'm hungry and I'm looking forward to have some friiiiiiies.... :)

He seems to be fine, that picture I posted from the Emmy awards (the one you told me he should go out of the sun ) was his first public appearance after the surgery.

I hope he is ok now, he'll be in Toronto, Canada tomorrow. :lol:

Not much for today except for that it's cold in here.

 

I watched three TOS episodes today. I guess I'm becoming addicted to TOS as well as I already am to TNG As long as I don't fall in love with Kirk, everything's alright.

 

Nah, just kidding, I couldn't fall in love with another captain, Jean-Luc is my one and only :lol: :o

My uncle was here today, he brought a new computer for me. It's not that I already have three computers to take care of. :( That one doesn't even have Windows 95. I'll have to install it first (a legal version, of course ) :(

Yeah, I know, I already have Win 98 SE here on this computer and I wouldn't upgrade it to XP for the world *hehe*

Though I like Win 95 as well, it's very stable, at least on my other old computer.

Oh dear, what a day. Last night my internet connection broke and caused my computer to crash, all without a reason. I tried it again and again, but it didn't re-connect me to the internet. I was so desperate when I got up this morning at 9 am (that's in the middle of the night for me) and tried it again and it still didn't work.

I grabbed the phone and called the company that provides my internet connection and told them what I think about their "breaking" of my internet connection. :(

It turned out that it was a mistake made by them, they had repaired some servers and that was why my computer couldn't connect to the internet. They could at least have told me about that before they did that. I depend on my internet connection. It's my life. :blink:

 

Enough rambling for now. Lol.

Is Masterminds a good film? I recall it getting pretty bad reviews here in the states. I may have to put that on my Netflix wish list. :(

I will be forever grateful if you really make it and I can see that movie. :blink: It's one of my biggest wishes to see this movie. :lol:

 

Erm, to be honest, "Masterminds" isn't that good a movie. :( The bad reviews are correct and the movie deserves them. However, it's a movie with PAT in it, and this means at least the parts in which you can see Pat are great. And he has a leading role in that movie (he's the evil guy), so it's not that bad

It worked! I managed to get the movie converted to two data CD's this morning after a ton of aborted attempts and error messages. Unfortunately, it's only compatible for PC viewing, since the regional coding wuld have made anything else impossible... but I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

 

Thanks for the honest review of Masterminds. I'll probably get around to renting it at some point. I'm working on watching all of Liev Schreiber's (me favorite) films right now.

Yes, I know, "Forbidden Realms: Demon Stone" is the name, if I remember correctly. :)

There's also a new "X Men" game out in which he voices Professor Xavier, but it's only available for Play Station 2 or something. Or was it X Box? Can't remember. Hope they make a PC version. I don't want to buy a PS 2.

Not much so far for today. My mom is not at home right now (she's in the city, shopping), so I took the chance and switched on the computer.

I'm so happy right now. "Safe House". I have spent almost two years trying to get this movie. And now I will have it. Thanks to Kyra_Ashleigh. ^_^

Vash. I absolutely hate Vash. She was just interested in new possibilities to steal things, she wasn't interested into Jean-Luc, just into the fact that he is the captain of the flagship of the Federation and that he could have brought her to places she would never have been able to see without him. Oh, dear. I hate this woman. He loved her and risked his life for her, and what did she do? She disappeared with Q, Jean-Luc's "enemy". Oh, great. And poor Jean-Luc was left behind with a broken heart.

I'd tell Vash what I think about her if I got the chance to meet her, that's for sure. :)

 

Oh, what a cute idea, Jean-Luc and me in a movie ^_^ I wouldn't want him to settle down with me, I know that he loves the stars... I'd like him to become an ambassador, so we could travel around a lot and all that. But he can stay captain as well if he wishes to, if he just lets me join him on the Enterprise... Oh, Jean-Luc...

 

That's a great suggestion, Pat releasing a CD, I think he'd be way better than Shatner (no offense meant against Mr.Shatner, but his music is really... strange)...

I would LOVE him to release a CD with songs like the ones Brent Spiner did.

Not much so far for today. I'm feeling a little sick. Not now!!!! I don't want to get sick! I just hope that the medicine I'm taking now will help. I want to see "my" Pat at the weekend. No matter what.
