Hm, I like the legend of King Arthur, there is a movie from 1981, called "Excalibur" which is a very good movie indeed (yes, Pat is in it as well ) and I thought I would see something similar to that one when I heard about "King Arthur". But what I saw was really strange, no Excalibur, just Arthur and Lancelot and whoever else fighting against the Saxony, serving ROME, now WTF???

And you're right, it is like remaking Trek and never leaving Earth

Not much so far. I'm thinking about getting into the city and buying the TOS DVD set (I hope it came out here ). I have the money here, I saved some, but I'm just too lazy to go to the tram station. :lol:

 

Aside from that... still no news about Pat. I'm still worried, but I guess I will find out if he is ok when I see him in October at this convention here in Germany (I hope he really appears on stage, I will believe it when I see him, not a second before).

I love Excalibur, it is one of my all time favorite movies. When I was a teenager I even memorized Merlins charm of making. Not sure of spelling but here it goes...

Annal nock roth ooth vas beithoot dothe yell deiemvei. Have you ever read The Once and Future King? It is a great book and I think one of the best of the Arthur books, there are so many.

Oh yes, Merlin's charm of making *nods* I tried to memorize it as well, but I failed, I really should watch "Excalibur" more often

 

I really enjoyed the character of Merlin in that movie, and I also liked Arthur a lot. But my fave one is still Leodegrance

 

And in that new movie I saw yesterday... Merlin wasn't even a wizard.

I just got out of bed and now I'm looking for breakfast, eh, lunch. I'm looking forward to having a calm and relaxing day today. I'll cook something now and then I'll see what's happening in the various messengers I have.

 

And I don't think that I will look for the TOS DVDs today... *yawns* I'm too lazy.

Hm, I still don't have the TOS DVDs , I wonder when I'm gonna go and get them. B) I really want them, but I'm just too lazy ...

Oh yes, they are very expensive. They are about 100 Euro here, that's a lot of money for me as well

The Frasier episode with Pat will be on German TV tonight (for the first time). I can't wait to record it. I already have the episode, of course, but I really have to see it again... :lol:

I did the math and if some one bought all of Star Trek and its movies on DVD it would be $3,200(Thats a $100 a season, $100 for all the movies, and also thats if Enterprise goes 7 seasons). I don't know about you but thats a lot.

Well I only have the TNG DVD sets, I really wanted to buy them, and I couldn't resist, I mean, Jean-Luc on DVD... that's a must ^_^ ^_^

I don't want to buy VOY or DS9 because I'm not much into those series.

But I really want the TOS DVDs, TOS is so great, I must have that. B)

Well, I had a rather relaxing day today. And, something great happened: my mom gave me her DVD player! ^_^ I put it into my room and connected it to my TV immediately. Now I don't have to watch DVDs in the living room anymore. :P I can watch Pat on DVD whenever I want :lol: ^_^

Not much for today. I spent the day watching my X Files DVDs. Fox Mulder really is... very... interesting :) He's really cute as well... :blush 2: I ws in love with him when I was about 15 and now I really see why

 

Well, aside from that I did nothing but cleaning up my room and stuff.

Not much for today since I have gotten up a few minutes ago. I plan to watch some TOS episodes today.

 

And I have to print out some new Jean-Luc pictures

 

Edit: Oh, there is news about Pat. He seems to have stayed in Greece for recovery during the last few days, my sources say. Well, I hope he had a great time there.

Yeah, I like that yellow color as well though it took me some time to get used to it , the next set will be blue, I think. :lol:

 

The set colors are the same everywhere in Europe, I think.
