Mr.Picard

Mrs.Picard's Personal Log

Recommended Posts

You're very welcome, ST. I'll try to talk to her. She'll be here on Saturday and Sunday, so I hope there's a small chance to talk to her and take a picture or something. :nono2:

I won't be able to talk to Pat since he won't sign autographs, but I'll be glad just to see him there on stage. :hmmm:

I'd be more than just nervous if I had the chance to talk to Pat. I'm not sure if I could say anything - neither in German nor in English. :naughty:

Personal log, 21.9.04, 2:01 pm

Today I'm really looking forward to this evening. I'll go to the movie theater with one of my friends.

I just had dinner and now I'm becoming very lazy, but I really should clean up the mess in my room and all that. <_<

No news about Pat today. :) At least not so far.

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

(This is Pat as "John", from the movie "Let It Be Me")

It's not his own hair, he lost his hair when he was 19. :) So I don't think I am embarassing him

And the jacket... well it's a movie from 1995... :)

I wonder why anyone always loves to make jokes about Pat's bald head. It's a "genetic malfunction" that he lost his hair when he was 19 and it was pretty hard for him back in those days.

He once said that if he wasn't bald, people would make jokes about his big nose instead. <_<

I know that you're just teasing :) , but everyone always says "I'm just teasing", and it's really not funny anymore for me (many people like to makes jokes about his bald head and I'm really... sort of sick about hearing them all the time :) :blush 2: )

Thanks for singing, it's great, keep on <_< I'm sure he'd like that :)

@ Odie

Exactly my opinion :) You're right

He looks much better bald. I'm glad they didn't do the hair thing with him on TNG..I heard they tried it out on him in the screen tests for the part..

I'm sorry. Now I really feel bad  Here  :) I hope you forgive me. I won't do it again.

Awww thank you for the flowers. <_<

It's alright, really. In fact, I really like your comments on my log, they often make my day, so don't stop  (just don't make jokes about Pat's bald head :) ). I'm not mad at you, don't worry. :)

You're right, he had a hair piece called "George", but he had left it behind in England when Bob Justman asked him to do screen tests and all that. So he decided to get "George" into the US, and they tried it out but it must have looked really... unusual, to say the least, so they quit that idea. I'm glad they did. He looks so much better without hair, though I don't mind if they give him hair, but I'd prefer him without if I had to choose. :)

I am glad that they left "George" behind in England. I was just making fun of the wig not the Pat.

I know <_< I wonder what has become of "George". I recall Pat saying in an interview that he still has it :)

Not so much for today. I am hungry, gotta have to find something for breakfast/dinner.

I enjoyed the movie a lot last night, my friend did as well though he was very tired when we stepped out of the movie theater :)

I really should wash the disnes now and so on, but I don't want to. :)

I rather look for a nice picture of Pat instead :)

^^What movie did you go see?

265465

A quite serious one. A German movie called "Der Untergang", it's about the last days of Hitler's terrible regime. The movie caused a huge discussion here and I wanted to see it. <_<

I can imagine a discussion! Hitler needed :bash: !

265583

Exactly. *nods* The discussion wasn't exactly about the movie itself, though, it was about the question whether such a movie should be made and showed in movie theaters here in Germany.

Well, so-called "controversial movies" often have more viewers than "normal" movies. <_< I dunno if this is good or bad, it depends on the movie, I guess. :)

Awwwww those two are cute :) yeah I love my hubby

Personal log, 23.9.04, 12:27 pm

Not much so far for today. I'm enjoying another calm day at home. My holidays are coming to an end, though. October 18th means "back to university, less time for Pat" :) . Oh dear, I don't want to :) :)

I'm hungry. I guess I have to find something to eat.

My friend has written me an e-mail, we wanted to meet tomorrow but she's sick, so she stays at home. I don't really object since I don't want to get sick now, the convention with Pat will soon take place and I just can't afford to be sick, it would be horrible.

Here is today's Pat pic of the moment:

*LOL*

I won't meet him in person, I mean, I will meet him, but I won't be able to talk to him. I'll see him on stage. But who knows what will happen *dreams* *laughs*

I could ask him a question while he's on stage, but I am waaaaaaaaay to shy to do so. :)

But I'll keep that pudding question in mind, thank you, my friend, in case I meet Pat elsewhere during that convention... *lol*

Thank you for the flowers *BIG HUG*

Yeah, I like the picture myself very much.

*rofl* your question is indeed a good one, I would not be afraid of asking that question, I'd be afraid he would indeed answer it.:laugh:

Hey Mrs. P... I was curious what you thought Pat's best feature is.

I personally think he has an amazing jawline. I'm a photographer and would just love to photograph Pat in high-contrast B&W. (I can dream of having a celeb let me photograph them, can't I?) :)

Let me see. I love anything about his face, so that's really hard to tell :)

But I'd say his nose. It's not a perfect nose and really big, but I love his nose just because it's not a perfect one.

I'd love to see a B&W Pat photograph of yours. But if you ever do it, don't forget to greet him from me :) :)

Assuming I ever get lucky enough, I'll be sure to send you copies! Right now I'm just a working slob in a portrait studio... but who knows what the future holds? :)

I also had to say that thanks to your posts, I bought a copy of Dad Savage on eBay recently. I'm not too sure if I like it or not. Sometimes it take me a few times before I really appreciate a movie.

Right now I'm leaning towards Safe House as my favorite Pat movie. Have you seen it and what do you think? :)
