Good for you! I Hope he makes cons in your area a yearly thing. Say Mrs P, I notice a poster of the NX-01 in the shadows of the above pic. Did Mr. Stewart voice any support for ENT?

No, he didn't. No one asked him about ENT (ENT is not that popular here). In fact, there were only a few Star Trek-related questions, everything else was about Lord of the Rings (yes  ), X Men, Shakespeare plays or other movies in which Pat had played.

It's amazing, isn't it? He's 64 and he looks like about 50 or something. He's so great.:clap:

Lord of the Rings ? Was Pat involved in those movies somehow ? And it is a great pic of him..

Yap, Pat was actually invited by Peter Jackson. He had always seen himself as either Sam or Aragorn, but then he realized Jackson was talking about offering him the role of Gandalf.

Well, he went there and made a fatal mistake, he critized Jackson's script  , he said he didn't like the love story between Aragorn and Arwen and that the only real lovestory in Lord of the Rings was the one between Sam and Frodo. Peter Jackson suddenly was in a hurry.... well, that's why Pat never got a role in Lord of the Rings

And now I have a sad message to RikerChick, Jon Frakes was not in Germany this weekend. I recorded the show but my mom told me neither him or Ben Kingsley appeared on the show. I am really sorry, RC.

No problem at all, it was very sweet of you to even think of me, I appreciate it.

Pat as same, maybe Aragorn. He would have made a good Gandalf.

Yeah, but he didn't like the idea of having to wear this long beard

I would have loved to see him as Aragorn - but please no love story then. My poor blood pressure.:clap:

Personal log, 5.10.04, 10:58 am

Not much so far for today. I'm a bit tired. I should turn off the computer and go to university, I really have to sign up for the Latin courses. I don't want to do this. I don't want to learn Latin. It's so hard though it sometimes is a bit similar to French and I had French at school - though I never got this language :clap:

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

(it's from last Saturday, press conference - yeah I have my sources at the press :) )

3501.jpg

And here's today's Pat fact of the moment:

Did you know that Pat doesn't like the smell of marzipan?

(Yeah, it's really getting into the smallest details here. I should think about starting a Pat trivia session  )

Picard out.

I couldn't ask him anything, I was way too shy and too nervous :b-day: but I promise to ask him if I ever meet him without the company of 1000 people around :P :b-day:

Thanks for the flowers and hugs my friend :b-day:

I couldn't ask him anything, I can't talk in front of so many people. Not even when I imagine everyone is in their underwear. :b-day:

(And I shouldn't imagine Pat in his underwear... :b-day::b-day:

This is a dangerous thought... :b-day::b-day: )

Lol!

Well, look at the bright side, next time you see Pat, you will have seen Sfe House and will be able to imagine him in LESS than that! :b-day::b-day:

But really, I stand firm on my advice about taking acting classes. Or if you have an opportunity, try taking a television broadcasting class. That way, you can go in small steps by playing to the camera. Seriously, I went from being a terminally shy girl to being the class clown during the course of my broadcasting studies! (besides, it's fun!) :b-day:

I already have some screenshots from this particular shower scene... so I already know what I am imagining when it comes to Pat in LESS than underwear... :b-day:

Oh dear, what are we talking about here? :b-day:

Nope, I think I will leave it this way, I'm not that shy when I get to know people, I mean, I talked to Nana Visitor, and English is not even my first language, so I guess I had a slightly annoying accent in it, though I tried to to avoid it... I can't be that shy. :b-day: It's just that I can't talk in front of so many people and this is fine with me, it sometimes causes stupid situations like the one with Pat's question I could have answered, but I can live with it.

Personal log, 6.10.04, 11:42 am

Nothing so far for today, except for the fact that I am really hungry right now. I have to go to university today, I didn't go yesterday, I was too lazy. Shame on me. :b-day:

Well, I really need to go now so this log entry is a little shorter than usual.

But nevertheless, here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

(nope, this time it's no pic from last weekend, if I start going through the pics from last weekend, I won't go anywhere today :b-day: )

So, today it's Pat as "Captain Jean-Luc Picard" from the episode 'When The Bough Breaks' of "Star Trek - The Next Generation" :b-day:

1-16-8.jpg

I don't have time to come up with a Pat fact of the moment today :b-day:

Picard out.

Someone send Pat over there to give her a spanking! :b-day:

Hopefully your trip to university is uneventful and you're home again in no time!

I have days where I feel like I spend more time driving than I do working, so I understand how hard it is to get going and get on the train. I wish we had commuter trans here, but our area really isn't set up for it. I'd love to not have to drive everywhere all the time! :b-day:

Pat spanking me? :b-day: Oh... sounds... interesting... :b-day:

The problem with my university is that it takes me about one and a half hour to get there. That's why I was not so eager to go there today. :b-day: But I'll stay home tomorrow, just a small walk to the post office to send a letter to a friend and then I'll enjoy a great day at home in front of the computer :b-day:

And yeah I signed up for the Latin courses, Tuesday and Thursday evening, 4:15 - 5:45 pm. This is going to be so hard for me. I fear I will fail the exam in Latin. :b-day:

Don't have any fear about Latin. You will be very surprised how much Latin words that you already know about, because you have study French and understand English. There are lot of Latin words in the English language.

There are a lot of Latin words in German as well, but I fear the grammar and all that. :b-day:

It's just my usual fear of something I don't know. :b-day:

I will do my best. I have to, because I will fail the entire philosophy subject if I do not study Latin now, it is required. :b-day:

You will do just fine! Like I was telling you in PM's, Latin is a very interesting language. Don't fear it... it'll just make things harder.

Personal log, 7.10.04, 11:44 am

Not that much so far for today. One of my friends has written me a LETTER. She has decided not to come online anymore because she fears she will become addicted to the computer. *scratches head*

Well, I am addicted to the computer and I'm still alive and well. Better be addicted to the computer and harm no one with that instead of being addicted to drugs or something. :b-day:

But, oh well, it's her decision, of course. I have written her a letter in return and I have to bring that one to the post office today.

Here is today's Pat pic of the moment:

(I dunno if I had it here before but it's just a wonderful picture, I could drool over it all day long...)

b_v_stewart_su2.jpg

And... here's today's Pat fact of the moment:

Did you know that Pat's brother (I don't know which one, unfortunately, he has two brothers) is often hunted by fans because they think he is Pat?

Recently a group of fans hunted the poor man down the street and he finally stopped and told them that he was not Patrick Stewart - but his brother. This, of course, didn't stop the fans from hunting him :b-day:

Picard out.

Wow! Pat sure has nice legs! Even his more recent films display a very nice physique! :flowers:

You're right, I should not fear it, I should try to cope with it - or fight it, if necessary

That's the spirit! A challenge is something to go into with a good attitude and a fighting spirit! You will do well!

Back when only colleges and businesses had internet (1993 or so), I had a college-aged friend who flunked out of school because of chat addiction! I figure it like this... if you can complete your daily tasks, enjoy life outside of the "box" and not have problems with the internet affecting your schoolwork, then you'll be fine! If she's worried about internet addiction, then maybe it's causing her grades to slip or something! It's good that she decided it was time for a break if that's the case! :flowers:

Yes, I think my friend has some problems with her grades in school, the have gotten a litte worse, so she is worried that the computer is causing this. She might be addicted to chatting and all that, yes, but I am addicted as well (and I'm more addicted to it than she is) and my grades haven't gotten worse... but I guess one cannot compare grades in school and grades at university.. :flowers:
