How many times are you going to watch "Truoble with Tribbles"?

278995

One time, I think B) I'll watch every episode for one time and then later, when I have seen all of them, I'll re-watch the best ones.

Personal log, 9.11.04, 11:44 am

My cold is still there. B) I'm too impatient, I guess. I want to be able to talk and eat without having an aching throat. B) B)

But I can't help it, it takes time and I'll have to be patient, no matter what. Well, I'll look for something to eat now before I go to bed again. :(

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

NOW THAT IS CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE :) B)

Still no Pat fact today. B)

I love the dress uniform! Ahhhh :o

Here's a drool bucket for you, Mrs P!  :o  :o

Me, too, I love my hubby in his dress uniform. Thanks for the drool bucket, I really need it :o

Personal log, 10.11.04, 2:00 pm

Another day at home for me. But there are good news: my throat isn't aching anymore! :P

I spent the whole day in bed yesterday and watched TOS and some TNG episodes as well. I think it was, in a way, Pat who helped me to recover.

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

(it's Pat as 'King John' from 1970 - yay, old Royal Shakespeare Company Times)

Here's today's Pat fact of the moment:

Did you know that Pat becomes really annoying when he's sick?

- he's all whiny then and complains about anything. (I guess everyone does, but Pat seems to be ESPECIALLY whiny  )

Oh boy. Bet it would be fun for the two of you to get sick together!

(I have to laugh... I am married to a big whiner... he started planning his funeral the last time he got the flu)

You could say that! Bet we would recover really quickly, we would get tired of complaining about our condition because there wouldn't be anyone who could listen to us

Guys are very whiny when they have the flu. I know that from my ex boyfriend. :o

I don't... I just got to school so everyone else can get sick. And I have to say this*starts to sing*She's drooling, She's drooling, She's drooling down the river!"

Now that's a new attitude... going to school so that everyone gets sick... Hm... interesting idea :o

Yes, I'm always drooling, as long as I can drool, I drool, I mean, what else could I do, Pat is SO wonderful... :o

Personal log, 11.11.04, 11:34 am

Not much so far for today. I'm sitting here in front of the computer and I still can't believe an e-mail I got from one of my (female) professors when I wrote her that I won't be able to attend her class on Friday (one has to tell her he/she is not going to be there because she has a list on which you have to make a mark on everytime you're there, so she knows that anyone has been here). So far, so good, I wrote that e-mail and used my normal e-mail address (Jean-LucPicard@.... <-- :o ).

And guess what she wrote back. This:

"Get well soon and PS: I love Jean-Luc!"

I literally looked like that at the computer screen --->

I hadn't expected that she KNOWS him and I hadn't expected that she likes him as well. I guess it's THWACKING time.

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

Here's today's Pat fact of the moment:

Did you know that Pat and his brothers Trevor and Geoffrey loved to cause havoc when they were young?

- They once put a firework under their aunt's door. It exploded and the whole door broke apart :P Their aunt was upset, to say the least. :o

Sounds like a cool professor! Are you worried that you may have to take your *THWACKING* stick to school from now on?

I wouldn't get prepared to *thwack* just yet... she might just be another Star Trek fan who thinks the Captain is a smart man! Now if you see her papering her classroom with pictures of Jean-Luc, then *thwack* away! :o

Cool professor indeed, I like her a lot. She's teaching English, btw, her class is called "Grammar And Style I". She always finds nice examples to tell us about the English grammar system.

Last week she said: "If a guy says 'I'm working at *wherever* at the moment', stay away from him, he has no money whatsoever, but if he says 'I work at... *wherever*', go and grab him, this means he does that on a regular basis - this means: MONEY." :( :(

She's really cool  that's why it'll be so hard to THWACK her, but I have to, she seems to be after my hubby and I cannot permit that.

Well, I'll ask her first what "I love Jean-Luc" meant. I mean, in which way. You are right, she might have wanted to tell me that she just likes him as well. Have to find out before I pull out the THWACKing stick. ;)

Becareful with the thwacking stick. Remember that she controls your grades. It is still good that she loves Jean-Luc Picard.

Yeah, I could use that as an advantage, but I'm afraid that my darn jealousy will be in the way. :(

Personal log, 12.11.04, 11:59 am

Not much has happened so far today. I got FOUR packages yesterday. Two of them were from friends of mine and two others were from amazon. I now have the Star Trek day-to-day calendar 2005 and I can't wait to take a look at it on January 1st. I hope to find at least some Jean-Luc pics inside. :tear:

*yawns* I've just gotten up and am now trying to keep my eyes open. :frusty:

I'll have to clean up the mess in here today. The whole apartment looks a little bit... erm... messed up, to say the least. If my mom saw that, she'd probably KILL me. :o :frusty:

Here's today's Pat fact of the moment:

Did you know that Pat and Brent Spiner have something they call 'a breakfast club'?

- the only members are Pat and Brent, of course. I don't know if they still have it, they used to, when Pat was living in LA, but since he has moved back to England now I doubt that the club still exists... :o

I relaxed yesterday and I hope that the cold won't return. :frusty:

Personal log, 14.11.04, 12:30 AM

I've just gotten out of bed (as usual on weekends :o ) and I really should start studying Latin again because I have missed the last two lessons. But, oh, I'm soooo lazy right now. Still a little bit tired from that cold and so on.

*sniffles* eeeew my grandma is cooking. You can smell that through the entire house here. :frusty:

Here's today's Pat fact of the moment:

Did you know that Pat is a fan of the show "American Gladiators"?

- he even had some suggestions to 'improve' the show. He said they should replace the mats with water in which alligators and sharks are swimming around, this would be much more fun (for HIM as a viewer, of course). :frusty: :o

Hm, not much so far for today. I've gotten up and taken a shower and now I am ready for a nice afternoon in front of the computer.

Tomorrow means university for me. :P I'm 'eager' to see what I have missed last week due to my cold.

Oh and I can't stop listening to Reba Mc Entire's Greatest Hits CD. This is addictive. :sly:

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

(as you can see it's a screenshot from the movie "X2", it's Pat as 'Charles Francis Xavier' and Sir Ian Mc Kellen as 'Erik Magnus Lehnsherr')

I just watched X-Men and X2 yesterday again. They are such great movies! :sly:

I'm happy to hear you are healthy enough to go back to University! I hope you don't have to work too hard to catch up! :P

I know, I love those movies as well, I like the 2nd one a little better because Pat has a little more to do :P

Yeah, I'll go to university today, I really have to.

Personal log, 16.11.04, 12:01 AM

Well, time for university again. I don't want to, but I have to. I have to catch up with a lot of things so I better get started before I 'forget' about doing this... :P

I'm really hungry now and I'll look for something for breakfast.

Oh, and there are news about Pat. Today he'll get his Lifetime Achievement Award from his hometown in England. Yesterday he was already officially installed as chancellor of the university of Huddersfield. GO, PAT!!!!

And I want to go to that univerrrrrrrrsiiiiiitttttyyyyyy :sly: !!!!

Personal log, 17.11.04, 8:55 PM

What an exhausting day today. But at least the topics in the classes I went to were interesting. Politics. Yay, me love that.

And, finally, only two days to go until weekend.

OMG Pat is so great. Did I already mention that? :congrats: He got his award, as I said yesterday and he held a very funny speech.

Here are a few things he said (those can count for today's Pat fact of the moment, I think  :

"There is a slight discomfort picking up a Lifetime Achievement Award. It gives the impression your life is almost over. I thought that earlier in the year, but thanks to some brilliant surgeons I'm fully recovered."

Then he referred to his "installation" as the new Chancellor at Huddersfield University:

"Installed? That makes me sound like central heating." <--- :o :o

Oh, did I already mention that I LOVE THIS MAN'S SENSE OF HUMOR?

Here, of course, is a pic of Pat with his award. It's today's Pat pic of the moment:

*swoons* Doesn't he look ADORABLE in that golden tux?

Picard out. (enough drooling now lol)

:huh: sssh... :congrats::shocked: :lol:

Yes, I love him very much, if I am allowed to say it that way. I've SEEN him in person, at that convention, but I have not MET him (so far). Well, there's always a chance. I won't give up.

Perhaps we could have a nice time together... I dunno... :o We share at least SOME common interests. Football, politics, Formula One, Beavis and Butt-Head, Reba McEntire... and so on and so on. oh... those are more than 'some' :o

Do you have a picture of Pat in a Beavis and Butt-Head shirt?

281608

Nope, unfortunately not. I know that he wore one under his uniform during the shooting of First Contact but there is no pic of him in such a t-shirt. He's a huge fan of the guys, he has EVERY episode on video (now on DVD, I think). :congrats:

Personal log, 18.11.04, 9:05 PM

It was a rather exhausting day today. I came home about an hour ago and I'm so tired of coming home at 8 PM on every evening on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Well, I'll get myself something to eat now and then relaaaaaaaaax.
