Mrs.Picard's Personal Log

Sounds like my mom the year she left me alone for the whole summer when I was a teenager. The house was spotless when she got back... she was mad that I let her tomato plant die!  :assimilated:

Mommys always seem to find something to complain about instead of being happy that I didn't burn down the house

What a day. :assimilated: University really starts to annoy me. I need holidays. NOW. :P But I won't have any. My first free day will be December 23rd... great... sooooo much time for buying Christmas presents... :) I'm glad I already bought the presents. Not that I am much into Christmas, but my friends are and I can't disappoint them. :o

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

(it's a Behind The Scenes - shot from his movie 'King Of Texas')

feat_texas5_full.jpg

Today's Pat fact of the moment is simply the fact that he is the best-looking man in the universe. :P  Now what kind of fact is that... :)

Wow, that sucks! The kids at our local universities get out December 15th. I feel for the two college kids at my work... they have their finals during our busiest work week of the year! (I'm sure I'll be feeling sorry for myself around the same time when it occurs to me that we're under-staffed)

Two words for you: Internet Shopping. I NEVER go to stores during the holidays! :waaaa:

But Internet shopping does not help me, I need to see what I buy. I mean, I have to take it into my hands and turn it around and all that

Well, I can be glad that the professor has agreed not to hold a last lesson on December 23rd. It is a regular "working day" here, so we students also have to go to "work". :waaaa:

Personal log, 27.11.04, 8:21 PM

I had a very busy Saturday, my mom is keeping me occupied with washing dishes, bringing out the garbage and so on and so on... I thought I'd have a calm and relaxed weekend, but it seems I was wrong.

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

No Pat fact for today, I'm afraid.

She can do that, you don't know what she is really capable of...:laugh::waaaa:

Finally, a calm day for me. I watched Deep Space Nine and Enterprise on TV today (they're finally showing the 3rd season of ENT here - not that I am much impressed by that, I'd rather see TNG or TOS :waaaa: )... and I finished reading "Misery", the novel by Stephen King. This is a fantastic book, I liked it a lot... "I'm your number-one-fan..." Not that I have something in common with Annie Wilkes... *whistles innocently*

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

Most things I can get by without having to see or touch them when I'm shopping. But some things should always be bought in person (like clothes). I've spent many a workday sending back people's clothes they ordered that didn't fit right! :look::look:

I'm enjoying season 4 of ENT right now. I still like TNG the best, but I'll watch any Trek I have time for! :frusty:

I usually do not order clothes from the internet, only when it comes to certain sweatshirts... ;)

I do so as well, but ENT is just not my fave series and I fear it'll never become that. It's my least fave series, but as long as I can watch TNG or TOS DVDs instead, I keep my mouth shut :wow:

Personal log, 29.11.04, 10:40 AM

My mom is in the city right now, buying Christmas presents. I wonder what she's gonna buy... I've asked her to pay me the 3rd TOS DVD set for Christmas and she agreed (though she wonders why I like TOS that much) :look: , so she cannot buy me anything else that is expensive (we want to go to London next year, that's why this Christmas will not be that full of presents, but I really don't care as long as she keeps her promise to accompany me to London to see Pat on stage :look: ).

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

(it's from THE convention)

:look: he's so darn cute on that pic :wow:

No Pat fact for today. It seems they only come up when I am in the right mood. :frusty:

What a great smile!  :frusty:

284604

I totally agree, his smile is soooo great on that pic... I don't remember why he was smiling like that, though... :look: but that's because he smiled almost the whole time while he was on stage on both evenings :look:

I couldn't take my eyes off him, of course... I was recording every move he made in my memory banks :look:

My father woke me up. He is working in my grandma's bedroom, I think something is broken there. And my grandma's bedroom is right under my room and my bed. ;)

*grrr* I hate it when something wakes me up!!! :frusty:

I'm not in such a good mood right now. :o

Personal log, 1.12.04, 10:06 AM

Nothing woke me up today. I have to get up anyways. University is waiting for me. German public law class. Oh, yay. Well, I'll also have to start studying for my Latin exam on December 14th. *uh-oh*

Anyways, here's today's 'Pat' pic of the moment:

(nah, it's not Pat today. This is his son Daniel.)

stewart_daniel_freedom.jpg

He's almost as sexy as his dad. ALMOST. :nono:

Here's today's Stewart family fact of the moment:

- Daniel once did an interview with his dad (it's hilarious) and Pat had nothing better to do than to get up in the middle of the interview, preparing a pizza or going shaving his face...

Here's an excerpt. The words in brackets are the comments by Daniel.

PS = Pat

DS = Dan

PS: [...] I'm going to put my pizza in the oven. (Here we go again...)

DS: You do that. (Fidgeting with my brand new micro-cassette recorder...$29.99 at Radio Shack.) God, I'm running out of tape already.

PS: Well your daddy talks too much, you know that.

DS: I know this gizmo has different recording speeds. I forgot to bring my manual. No point asking you though is there?

PS: No, don't ask me.

DS: This comes from the man who used to call me up the find out how to work the VCR.

PS: I'm no help whatsoever.

DS: You've got this fab new screening room at your house. Does that mean you're going to be calling me up to find out how to start the DVD?

PS: It's all done on a touch pad. It's idiot proof apparently.

DS: 'Cos you're still having problems getting your phones working.

PS: I have a car where I have a hard time trying to figure out how the air conditioning works!

:o :o :o

:nono:  That's a great interview Mrs.P!

285269

:nono: Yeah, isn't it? I couldn't stop laughing when I found it. The original topic the interview should have been about was X Men. But I guess they're a little off-topic, well, they're father and son, after all, they have a lot to discuss, as we can see :o :o

I'd LOVE to have the tape. There was even more "Stewart kitchen talk" on it, as Daniel called it, but he didn't include more of it in the written version of the interview. :o :nono:

I've just gotten up, nothing has happened so far, I'm sitting here in my pajamas B)

Oh and I am hungry. I have to find something for breakfast. My friend has written me an e-mail, she wants me to help her with her application for the university I am studying at. It'd be fun if we went there together B) (she has been studying something else so far but she wants to quit that)

Hm... I had a strange dream last night. I was actually willing to by a rare picture of Pat for 250 Euro (!!!!). B) Now I am worried. B)

Eeeeew math  that must have been a nightmare

Yup. It was bad. I was sitting at this desk in a high school classroom and it was one of those tests that was a huge booklet.... I was working on mine and all of a sudden the time was up and I had only done three problems! B)

I know I'm bad at maths... but I didn't think I was that bad! B)

I haven't seen her in ages and now she tells me that she'd rather take a trip with her boyfriend on that weekend on which we wanted to see each other. :nono: Sure. :naughty: Boyfriend is more important than me, her best friend. It's not that she sees her boyfriend every weekend. I'm working on your package right now! Of course, I have to move a bunch of stuff around on my computer first... I told you the problem with the wire that connects the D drive to the power supply, right? So I am moving all my music over so I can make you some CD's! :hammer::naughty::frusty:
