Today's a good day, I think. I woke up late (well, I went to bed at 5 AM - oops...) and I'm gonna look for something to eat. I believe we have some fries down in the cellar... I'm gonna look for them... :wow: Can't do anything against that fries-loving-thingy of mine...

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

Thanks! Happy New Year to you, too :)

Personal log, 31.12.04, 10:00 PM

Well, New Year's Eve here... And I'm sitting in front of the computer, that's where I belong to B)

Anyways. Time for a little rant on how bad 2004 was for me... oh well, it wasn't that bad, in fact, it was quite good. The best thing certainly was the German Star Trek convention in Ocotober where one of my biggest dreams came true: Seeing Pat live on stage. That was the greatest feeling I ever had when he walked onto that stage and I really saw HIM, HIM, HIM, smiling at the audience... it felt like being in a wonderful dream, but it was all real. I'm still shaking when I think of it...

Another big thing for me in 2004 was my new start at another university. The new one keeps annoying me just like the first one did, but I guess that's normal B)

Anyways, I also got to know a lot of new people and made new friends all around the world. The internet is such a great place. If only I could live online. :)

Well, not much for today. I slept long (until 2 PM) and then I accompanied my mom to my grandma, I had to carry something for my mom, my uncle and his girlfriend were there as well, a good reason for me to vanish ASAP. B)

Well, and then I put some new pics of Jean-Luc onto my laptop and now I am proud to announce that I have over 16.000 pics of Pat B)

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

Whooooops I forgot to add the REAL pics I took at the convention B) Thanks for reminding me on that B)

Yeah, those over 16.000 pics are all computer pics, and about 128 REAL pics I took at the convention. B)

I'm somewhat trying to have the LARGEST Pat pic collection in the whole wide world B)

Hope you had a nice New Year's celebration, Mrs P!

I know this time of year can be hard and sometimes you don't want to celebrate. I find myself spending the holiday kicking myself for all the things that didn't go right during the year.

But just think of all the things that happened that made you happy! You got to SEE Pat in person! You're planning a trip to see him in the theater! How cool is that? B)

I also wanted to ask you a German question if you're up for advising someone who can't keep her foreign langages straight...

When you say, "I love Star Trek," does it work like if you said, "I love Pat"?

"Ich liebe Star Trek"

Or is there a German title for Star Trek that you use? For some reason I culdn't remember that earlier and little things like that bother me. B)

Hope you had a nice New Year's celebration, Mrs P!

Thank you B) Well, I did not celebrate, but I sat in front of my computer, that's the best way for me to "celebrate". B)

I know this time of year can be hard and sometimes you don't want to celebrate. I find myself spending the holiday kicking myself for all the things that didn't go right during the year.

Me, too. I just keep thinking of all the s**t that happened, like me failing that stupid Latin exam...

But just think of all the things that happened that made you happy! You got to SEE Pat in person! You're planning a trip to see him in the theater! How cool is that?  B)

That was the best thing ever that happened to me. I still cannot believe that this really happened. B)

Maybe I'll find a chance to tell Pat (IF I meet him in person in London) that I really enjoyed his apperance at the convention...

I also wanted to ask you a German question if you're up for advising someone who can't keep her foreign langages straight...

When you say, "I love Star Trek," does it work like if you said, "I love Pat"?

"Ich liebe Star Trek"

Or is there a German title for Star Trek that you use? For some reason I couldn't remember that earlier and little things like that bother me.  B)

Of course, I'll try to help :)

Well, "Ich liebe Star Trek" is correct for the grammar aspect, though not everyone here in Germany might know what "Star Trek" is. A lot of people do, but some don't, and that's because we also have a German translation for "Star Trek".

The show "Star Trek" is called "Raumschiff Enterprise" here (this means "Spaceship Enterprise", if you translate it directly into English), and TNG, for example is called "Raumschiff Enterprise - Das naechste Jahrhundert", which would be "Spaceship Enterprise - The next century". :)

I hope I could help you B)

Personal log, 1/2/05, 9:52 PM

A calm Sunday today, just a little windy outside. I slept until 3 PM and watched ENT on TV (I had nothing else to do, that's why  ), and in fact I liked the episode ("Twilight")...

I'll have to go to the post office tomorrow, I have a few packages to send... I hope I'll wake up a little earlier than today. :)

I got up a little earlier today, thanks to my cellphone. I have to go to the post office at 3 PM and make sure that all the packages are sent out today. :)

Right now my fries are in the oven and I have to pay attention... Can't live without fries  Ok they're ready now *wants to eat them*..

*curses*

Someone rang our bell at 10 AM today and woke me up. I don't know who it was, but I'll KILL him/her if I find out. *gets her THWACKing stick* B)

Anways, I managed to fall asleep again, so it's not THAT bad.

Not much to do for today, no note from my mom. I'm currently cooking something for myself. I'm enjoying this lazy week at home, university re-starts next week. B) I'm really looking forward to my holidays from February - April since it has really been an exhausting semester so far. B)

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

I thought it was time for another avatar change. Yeah, the new one is Pat - at the age of 15. :) I was a little concerned about the pic's quality, but it's fine with me as long as I can at least SEE that it's him. :vbg:

I watched ski jumping today and spent most of the day relaxing. Today's a holiday here in Germany so everyone's at home and the TV is sending crap. B)

It's also my best friend's birthday today, I've already sent her a nice e-mail :yahoo:

Oh and I'm looking forward to tomorrow, I'll meet one of my "old" friends from school. We'll have dinner together and I hope I'll be able to scan some of my pics at her home. I really need a scanner. B)

Here is today's Pat pic of the moment:

(yeah, once again one from THE convention, I believe this was taken right when he had come onto the stage and he was absolutely stunned because everyone was cheering and standing up and all that :yahoo: )

Oh my... he's just too cute B)

Well, this convention was the big exception from my rule that I don't go to conventions because they're so expensive. But - if Pat appears, I have to go, of course. B)

No, I have never spoken to him in person ( :) ) but I am planning on doing so, I'll go to London in February/March, I want to see him in the theatre and maybe afterwards at the backdoor... B)

If I do not faint, that is. :vbg:

Personal log, 1/7/05, 9:37 PM

I had a nice dinner with my friend today. B) We met at 1 PM and then we went to a restaurant called "Mad Max", it's run by Americans and they have those HUGE American fries and burgers. Oh I love their fries. And the people there are really friendly and I always enjoy a little chit-chat in English with them. :vbg:

The food was great and my friend and I had a lot of fun. B)

Personal log, 1/8/05, 9:24 PM

A rather calm day today. I'm currently watching a TV show about the 90's and it's time for me to feel old again. :yahoo:

I had a special night, I watched 7 episodes of TOS. I don't know how this could happen, I was just in the right mood and now I've finally seen "The Cage" as well, it was a remarkable experience

Now it's time to re-watch my TNG DVDs... :flex:

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

(it's a Jean-Luc Picard trading card of some sort, I dunno, I find it interesting  )

You'd think he'd have more cunning than that.

295259[/snapback]

Much more. And more strength, I mean, he fought against THREE Nausicaans and was about to win :yahoo:

*gets her THWACKing stick and THWACKS the one who developed that card REALLY hard*

Exactly. :yahoo: They should at least ask people who know something about Jean-Luc before they develop such a ****ing card.

Well Picard has fought Borg, Klingons, Nausicaans, Romulans, and the other guys from ST:10 and he kicked butt!!! I would give him an 11, but I don't know if it goes that high. As for cunning... anyone that can out smart Q once should be a 9.

Personal log, 1/9/05, 10:22 PM

Nice and calm Sunday today. I got up late, as usual on weekends and I watched "Encounter At Farpoint" on DVD (for about the 101st time :yahoo: ). Oh, Jean-Luc is so cute in that episode, when he steps out of the darkness in the beginning of the episode... I always smile when I see that... my hubby

Well, that was my Sunday. Drooling over a certain Starfleet Captain.

What a day. When I tried to go online this morning, my internet connection did not work. I was shocked, to say the least, as it told me "wrong password". :nono:

It turned out to be a mistake by my internet company. Again.:waaaa:

Well, I'm online now and it's time for taking a look at all the message boards on which I am a member of.

I'm not really looking forward to this week. It's gonna be pretty stressful. I have to make a few calls tomorrow before I go to university. B)
