No, we don't celebrate Halloween here the way you guys do.

We have started to celebrate it, though, but people here only see it as another excuse for dressing up in a weird way and getting totally drunk. I don't participate in such things.

Not so much so far. Today is a holiday here, but it's my free day anyways. I wonder why holidays never fall on these days on which I have to go to university. :blink:

I agree with both of you *nods nods* and I think such campaigns are a very good thing to inform people that violence against women still goes on and on.

Well, my father has brought me some things from the super market I told him to buy for me, I don't have time for this because of university and my mother is still away. So he had to buy them for me. I don't like talking to him that much, since we have had a lot of problems in the past, all I can say is that he was not the kind of father a kid wishes for. :( So I really don't like asking him for things, but I had to since my fridge got emptier and emptier.

 

Well, that's it for now, university calls (Latin today )... At least I got to know a cool guy there, he's a Star Trek fan as well and I'm afraid that the Latin classes will change into a "trekkie talk" soon

Yeah, I know, I can talk about Star Trek in Latin then, though it won't be easy since this so-called language ( ) is a VERY strange one, and it's VERY similar to French, I'm glad I had French at school for 4 years (didn't get it, but I still know some words, after all )...

 

Hm, lemme see...

I can already say something to Jean-Luc in Latin: "amo te". (Meaning: I love you)

Oh my... what a day. I missed my train because the bus driver decided to have a little chit chat with another bus driver at the bus station so when I arrived at the train station I just saw the train driving away... I had to wait another hour for the next one.

Though I would rather not like to see him in ENT (and I doubt that this is going to happen, he has much other work at the moment), I'm not that fond of the series, to say the least and I'd only watch it because he's in it. And I don't want to do this so I rather wish he doesn't appear.

Not much so far for today. I'm feeling a little better, at least my throat does. The rest of my cold doesn't, though.

But I can deal with anything as long as my throat doesn't hurt. B)

 

I'll try to attend the trivia chat tonight. I hope the chat won't crash my computer like it did last time.

I'm still sick and my throat is aching again. I shouldn't have done all the things I did yesterday when I felt a little better (like running around, washing dishes and all that), I should have stayed in bed. Well, I'll do so today. I'll go to bed again right after I have taken a look at the internet - I have to look for news on Pat. :o

I'm still sick and now I'm also very tired. Guess that comes from the huge infection I seem to go through right now. *sigh*

One thing is for sure, I'll be around here pretty much often because I can't go anywhere right now, no university for me this week. So my BIG cold has also a good side. B)

I'll miss pretty much at uni, but I can't help it. I rather stay home for a week and make a full recovery than going to uni tomorrow and getting even more sick. B)

 

Enough whining now. I'll just go to bed and watch the TOS episodes. I'm glad I ordered the second season right after it came out so I now have at least some DVDs to watch. B)
