I once thought of photography as a vocation, but I don't think that I am disciplined enough to make it work as full-time job. There was an opening with a local outfit that does school pictures, and would be on the road in the local area. Perhaps that is an idea. I met a photographer named Brandenberg (first name - ?) whose work appears in the National Geographic. That was many years ago, tho. See ya around, dude! Airies 0 Posted November 9, 2004 Just wanted to drop everyone a line and tell you I'm am still alive. I have not found a job yet and am still trying, but things are hard out there. Sorry it has been so long since I've been here but still don't have pc at home and time at library is limited. I miss you all very much and miss my time in here. It was a good thing for me to be around fellow Trek fans. Me and my family are still hanging in there but are having problems making ends meet. I pray that I will find a good job soon, but the market out there is horrible right now. I just got a lead on a possible job today but I don't really know anyting yet. Thanks for your prayers and I hope you guys think about me sometimes. Well, I gotta go, just know that I think about you all allot and appriciate all the support you had given me. Airies 0 Posted December 8, 2004 Hey everybody! How has everyone been? I just dropped by the library for a few minutes and thought I would say hello. Thanks for the prayer chain everyone! I have as of yet found a job that could sustain me and my family, however my photographey business has been producing just enouph work to pay the bills. Every time I think we are going to go under another job pops up and gives us a enough money for the months rent. Jobs are so darn scarce these these days. It's like trying to find a grain of seed in a stack of tribbles! Yes they are there but they don't pay worth a hoot. I miss you all very much. More than I thought I would. I have been a major Trek kick lately, I have watched all 10 movies in the last week and and driving my family insane :( Yes I am still trying to find a way to get back on line at home. With Christmas time here I have all my extra money going towads the kids presents. Me and Mrs. Airies are not getting anything for each other this year. We figure a house and food will suffice and the children being happy is a great present to us. We are going to let the kids by us a $20 present each. I'm having my wife get me the old atari games with asteroid and missle command ectt.... I think my wife want a nec klace from Wal-mart. Well, gotta go. I really miss all of you guys. Thanks for the prayers Jeanway and Rikerchick. Oh and great pic Spacetigger. Sorry I don't write more but time is short at the library. If I don't make it back before them everyone have a very Merry Christmas and God Bless you all. Don't forget me, besides my wife and kids you guys are my only friends. P.S. One of my kids teacher said they heard a rumor about a 11th movie with Shatner in it, I think she was getting that mixed up with Enterprise. But who knows. Again miss you all........Farewell..... Airies 0 Posted December 14, 2004 Well, Captains log Stardate today. I have a job interview on Thursday. It actually is for a company that I worked for years ago. With my experience in that field my old boss said they were going to try and make me a position. I never count my chickens before they hatch but it sounds like it could be a good thing. I hope so. It was great to hear from you all responding to my last report. I miss you all very much. Unfortunaltly at this new job I may not have internet access but if I get a job me and the Mrs. top priority is getting back on line, we both miss it. My sons 9th birthday is tomorrow. I can't believe my youngest is turning 9. That must mean I'm getting old. Well, I'm gonna go if I don't hear from you till them Merry Christmas and God Bless. Airies P.S. Airies 0 Posted December 17, 2004 Well, interview went well Yesterday, but they did not offer me as much money as I needed. They also wanted me to work on Saturdays and Sundays. Which Sat. I photograph allot of wedding and Sundays are for church and family time. So I'll keep on looking. In the mean time today is kids last day of school for Christmas break so I get two weeks to play with them. Well gotta go. Merry Christmas everyone. If I did not mention it before I am going to be back on line at end of Jan beg of Feb at home. I can't wait. Well gots lots of other things to do online and only get an hour at Library. So this Hi is for everybody. Oh by the way its Dec 28 and its 58 degrees outside. Supposed to be in 60's tomorrow great weather, I hope it hold through the new year. Airies 0 Posted December 30, 2004 Well it's thursday the 30th of December and it's 60 degrees at 11:30am. Pretty amazing huh? Weird weather, makes me wonder if the probe has not returned. Maybe we can find the girl from finding Nemo she can taaalllllkkkkk wwwwhhhhaaalllleeee. Well, I hop this weather lasts. It is going to keep my gas bill down.
