  1. Oh no!!! I totally ruined it with Resurection... let it alone people. Ripley died, stop bringing her back already. It's just like how they kept bringing Worf into the movies... it was just plain dumb. I love the first 3 alien movies but enough is enough. I do wanna see AVP because there is NO Ripley. It's completely original for an aliens flick. But NO ALIENS 5 PLEASE! AH!

  2. Yeah I wouldn't use either! No offense! But those are not what earth looks like!!!!!!!!! Notice how both of those pictures show you ALL of Earth even though you can only see half of the earth at one time. How on earth (pardon the pun) could you see America and Austrailia and England in ONE shot! You can't. Find a picture where Earth appears as a sphere and not as a flattened surface.

  3. Yes, MI2 was not as good as the original... but I still think it was "entertaining". And I did like Face Off... but overall Woo is not a good director. He is the kind of director who should just be in charge of an action sequence and not a whole movie because when he is in charge of a whole movie he makes it all unrealistic action... MI2 in point... what was with riding a motorcyle with feet on the GROUND.... Riiiight!

  4. Same with VBG, put the intro back to the original version (but I'd say that includes removing Star Trek from the title) ENTEPRISE ROCKS AND SHOULD REMAIN THE WAY IT IS... it should develop of course but I will say how because I have full confidence that whatever happens... ENTERPRISE WILL REMAIN GREAT

  5. Trekzone, I agree with you. I myself am not a fan of fantasy either. However, because of the praise that the LOTR movies get, I have seen every single one, including the third last night.

I even own the first because to get a great deal with Columbia house I had to choose one movie from a predetermined list. I owned almost all of them so I got the LOTR. I really wasn't too happy with that cause the first movie is rather boring to me. They just seem to move from one locale to another, then to another... and on and on... blah blah blah, then it just ends in the most annoying way... it doesn't end!

Then I saw the second movie at a friends. I was bored thru the whole movie. I could not get into that one at all. I think its because I think so scientifically, magical things just dont sit right with me... and a ring that holds all this power is what I'd call magical... boo.

Last night I saw the third. I liked the opening... but was bored again for awhile. Once the big spider appeared the movie picked up and was good for next LONG while. Was it worth 13 bucks to see the movie. No, but it was worth 13 bucks to spend some time with my friends.

So now I've got the first movie on DVD and do not want the other 2, but it isn't complete without them. I suppose I should give it away or sell it. I can see how they might be good movies, but they just don't appeal to me. Now if any of you have a problem with anything I said, that is fine. But I don't wanna freakin hear it! I hate it when people think you suck cause you don't like a particular movie. Sometimes I think people pretend to like movies like these because it's the cool thing to do.

On a brighter note: the scenery in the movies could not be better and I love how they actually use a real musical score... that is something that needs to be used more these days.

  6. Wow, I feel somewhat embarrased with myself. I never knew that Alice Krige played the Borg Queen in Endgame. But I do have a good explanation that really makes Alice look good.

Every time I saw Thompson play the Borg Queen I always thought to myself, I miss Alice Krige. She did so well in her role. I guess it turns out that she did so well that I didn't even notice her as the Borg Queen in Endgame cause all I could see was the Queen herself and not Alice Krige! Wow! I just watched the episode the other night too!

  7. Click for Spoiler:

As for the episode where we learn that 90% of the Trills could be hosts, that's true but that secret was still kept a closely held secret. As far as the general Trill population is concerned only a small percentage of Trills are compatible.

Ok, was all know that Ezri was asked to take the dax symbiont without the preparation process. So how did the committee who overlooks who can and can't have a symbiont check her out?

    Click for Spoiler:

Did Sisko inform her commanding officer at the time that 90% of trills can accept a symbiont or do you think the medical officer aboard her ship was able to discern for herself if it was safe for her to accept a symbiont?

  8. They could have reassigned dax and mentioned her from time to time but that wouldn't have been interesting. What the did with Ezri created many new conflicts with the characters so it was very interesting. And geez, it's just a show, Jadzia never really died cause she never really lived... get over it. Why sacrifice story for the sake of attachments to fictional characters.

  9. I think that the twins would be rejected for being joined simply because it would be considered a risk to the symbiote.

Yes it is true they might do that but

    Click for Spoiler:

in one episode of DS9 we learn that the group that selects applicants learned years ago that nearly any trill is capable of receiving a symbiont so realistically that may not be a genuine concern.

Besides, I'm not really asking if it would be allowed but rather what you think would happen if it did hypothetically.

  10. Thanks Abakai! I wasn't sure if it was him. I missed the beggining and didn't see to many shots of Angus. Admittedly, he didn't sound like Martok though but I thought it might have been the accent throwing off his voice.

  11. It was one of the funniest episodes I've seen lately. I laughed much with this episode. Usually I only get a few small chuckles. I loved the Star Trek spoof of "A Christmas Carol"! It was great when Kirk asked for more power and Scotty said, "Captain, I just don't have the power. It (a ghost of christmas) showed me a vision of the future... and I'm soo fat!." That was fantastic! The rest of the episode was equally as funny. I also liked it when Homer's gift to himself said "I am non refundable" just when Homer might have wanted to take it back... and then it went on a 3 hour fire alarm test. Rudolph's tumor thing was golden too!

  12. I was watchin the movie Highlander and when Connor McLeod first relaized he was immortal he had a friend names Angus. I could swear that this is the same actor who plays Martok: J G Hertzler (I think I spelt that right)

  13. Yeah the plot is a good one. But for two reasons I wouldn't want to see it on tv:

    1. the obvious, Voyager no longer exists and

    2. there have been enough Voyager episodes where the timeline was "put right". End Game just about ticked me off. It seems to be their solution for everything that goes wrong. They put their past ahead of everyone else's future.

But yeah, otherwise, it would have been a great ep! Nice idea, maybe you should turn it into some fan fic?

  14. Hmm, good news, but I'm not sure it really makes a difference to the world's safety. He was living in a little hole in the ground with a pipe to give him air and water. I'm pretty sure the world was safe from Saddam ever gaining power again even if he wasn't caught. But now, at least, we can be certain! Hooray!

  15. Well Batok, I've finally read your fan fic! It was good, but I was looking forward to learning more about the Breen because Deep Space Nine kept them very vague. I guess I will have to wait until you post another chapter or two. As for Section 31, it was the perfect choice for a Star Trek story about a conspiracy.
