    Nem the movie sucked (imo, because), they cut out all of the arcs which were the meat of the story. Read the script or the novel, that is where the entire story is.

     

    What they did to The Time Machine is what I fear will happen to Dr. Who if they decide to remake it. H.G. Wells must be spinning in HIS grave.

     

    How dare the movie Signs insult my intelligence asking me to believe the Aliens did not know, after 60 years of observations, that there was WATER on PLANET EARTH! What a load of CRAP!

    Shouting at us won't help.

     

    I know because I tried that when TOS movies ended.

     

    Everyone all busted up over the possibility of the TNG ending needs to realise they are not the first ones to have Trek they really care for taken away from them.

     

    It has happened to me, lets see... 1 TOS, 2 TOS movies, 3TNG series, 4DS9..... thats it, 4 time's! (5 if it is the end for TNG, I really did not shed a tear for VOY) 4 time's Trek I loved has been snatched away from me.

     

    Please try to deal with it with a little more grace.

    No Xeroc, there were no fancy glasses involved, overnight I remembered another show we saw in 3D on TV, it was the Rolling Stones, I even recorded that one and when it is played back and watched with the glasses, which are the kind with one dark lens and one clear lens, the 3D effect still works.

    No zeroc that's not so, I remember watching the Rose Parade on TV in 3D with a pair of glasses I bought at 7-11, there have been others too, like the John Wayne movie Hondo was shown in 3D um... there have been more but I cant remember them. I have all of the souvenir glasses somewhere.

    Ok, here she is in her own words;

     

    I’d like to be called Jem_soong. Now let’s talk about TNG, have you seen all the episodes of TNG?  I haven’t.  I’m trying to watch them all but there are so many.  there are 7 seasons and in each season there are 7 discs, at least I think there are 7.  Now let’s talk about Data.  Isn’t he so cute!  I just want to eat him up!!  :lol:

    LOL I never noticed that, your right!

     

    If what Berman has been saying is true about ENT's "New Direction", then he has gotten the message and soon many Trek fans will be climbing back onto the bandwagon.

     

    I can wait, I have been sad not having lots of people to gush about it with.

    I liked her character for the percentage of women her character represented, Raped, Beaten, and Disserted. I thought a lot of good could have been done with her giving a voice to women, which these things have happened to but alas it did not come to fruition.

     

    Perhaps another character of the same kind of background can someday be created again on Trek and all of the missed opportunity for addressing these issues will get another shot, when the time is better.

    Yep, she related to me, my daughter(9), I call her "JEM", after the empath in TOS episode.... Duh! I went to check the title of the episode I am talking about..."The Empath". She love's TNG, will watch TOS with me and Odo from DS9 is beggining to wear down her wall for that show. Thanks again to all whom have helped me make my being here a family thing she and I sometimes share. twitch.gif

    No, I am not against a new cast I just voted that way. I want the timeline at that end to move on (sorry sisters) I want answers about Future Guy. Who. What. When. Where. Why, a new cast in charge of the Ent. set further along in time would float my boat.

     

    Perhaps the new cast could be introduced on an episode of ENT, while tangling with FG they get sent back to Archers time and it is imperative they return to the future without letting anyone in ENT time find out (?) But how will they return…. What would happen if anyone did find out…. Are some of the questions the show could explore?

     

    Then having introduced the new crew on ENT they hit the big-screen with the mother of all battles against FG to reset the damaged timeline (damaged by the Borg) once and for all! YAY! After the movie premiers, the very next episode of ENT reflects the victory of the Ent in the future over FG and all of the things people said were wrong with the continuity of ENT finds all is as it should be from that point on!
