  3. Yeah, I really cant wait for this one. As far as affording it goes, just wait until the season only has 4 episodes left or is finished then buy one month of CBSAA ($5.99 a month Limited Commercials, $9.99 a month Commercial Free) and binge them. Unless you are saying Albuquerque doesn't get CBSAA?
  4. I never got the BD sets. I just use the hi-def streaming Trek where available, the sound is always pretty good in my experience. If you feel ripped off you should return to get a refund.

  9. The dilemma appears to be about finding a way to spread costs and maximize revenue by extending beyond just three episodes, while still making the story work without repeating itself. A longer series would also have to fit with Star Trek canon, which established the genetically enhanced crew of the Botany Bay remained in exile and the Federation was unaware of the explosion of Ceti Alpha VI. Of course, there could also be other reasons why Kurtzman and Paramount+ have chosen not to move forward—at least not yet—with this project. While Meyer still feels strongly that the Ceti Alpha V project is a good idea, he confirmed that he still has not heard anything about the status of it. https://trekmovie.com/2021/03/13/exclusive-nicholas-meyer-on-whats-holding-back-his-ceti-alpha-v-star-trek-mini-series/

  13. Here we go again, Paramount has hired new scribe to pen a story for the big screen. Payne/McKay, Mark Smith and Noah Hawley all had their big screen Trek scripts poo-pooed by the studio Difference here is JJ is listed as a producer so maybe that'll make a difference in getting this one across the finish line. https://deadline.com/2021/03/star-trek-movie-kalinda-vazquez-jj-abrams-paramount-1234706899/
