    Here is a little ditty sent to me by an Uncle;

     

    Pepsi has a new patriotic can coming out with pictures of the Empire State Building and the Pledge of Allegiance on them.

     

    But Pepsi forgot two little words on the pledge, "Under God."

     

    Pepsi said they did not want to offend anyone.

     

    If this is true then we do/do not want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office.

     

    If we do not buy any Pepsi products then they will not receive any of our

    monies.

     

    Our money, after all, does have the words "Under God" on it.

     

    If you agree with this policy, please pass this word to everyone you know.

     

    Pepsi doesn't have the right to rewrite the Pledge Of Allegiance!!

     

    If you do not agree, never mind.

     

    I feel I am going to boycott Pepsi products but the problem lies in the fact Pepsi is one off those Giant Corporations and I never know what product I buy could be a part of PepsiCo. (Short of reading the label on EVERTHING I buy.) Hell, I could be buying toilet paper that somehow supports Pepsi.

    I think that a good way to revitalize the series is to do something very unexpected. ie. the death of Archer, maybe the death of T'Pol and possibly even the destruction of the Enterprise and the introduction of a new one (if that won't be in contrast with Star Trek facts),

    EEEEEEK!

    Ok. I am composed again. Truth be told, there are some good reasons to do at least a couple of the atrocities you mention but I believe now or in the not to distant future, would not be good timing.... hmm as I wrote that, new ideas formed which suggest you might be on to something after all. Hmm...

    This to help new members whom are not familiure with how to use the code feature this board offers.

    There are two common mistakes made when using codes, here are the soulotions to those problems.

     

     

    1. Make sure the things you want to be included in the codes are BETWEEN the brackets like this;

     

    (shown with the brackets BACKWARDS so they do not disappear)

     

    ]B[Your message here]/B[

    With the brackets facing correctly becomes:

    Your message here...BOLD

     

    ]size=7[Your message here]/size[

    With the brackets facing correctly becomes:

    Your message here...BIG

     

    ]color=blue[Your message here]/color[

    With the brackets facing correctly becomes:

    Your message here...COLOR

     

    or you can combine them like this;

    ]B[]SIZE=7[]COLOR=blue[Your message here]/B[]/size[]/color[

    With the brackets facing correctly becomes:

    Your message here... BIG BOLD COLOR

     

    See?

     

    Also, before you post, you can check to make sure everything is correct by clicking on the PREVIEW button.

    Personally I think the threat of another war is doing it's work.

     

    Everyday I see and hear that more WMD are being dismantled by IRAQ. :)

     

    I do not want to believe that the war is about oil but if it happens despite what I am seeing happening with the WMD then I am going to be forced into believing, the oil or the good of our economy is the engine behind it all. :D

    VOYAGER itself.

     

    I have been sitting here racking my brain trying to narrow it down to a fav. and VOYAGER the ship has to be only choice for me. VOY (the show) left me felling the way some are feeling about ENT. although I did watch and record every episode of VOY, some of which are REALLY GOOD!

     

    The series as a whole was weak and left me wanting. I could not ever relate to anyone on board and believe me I tried! Allmost all of the Alien species encountered were as interesting as watching bathtub mold grow!

    In fairness I will add, ENT does a little-bit of that as well.

    I agree, making "" the universal symbol for "spoilers" is a good idea!

     

    poguemahone, I hereby grant you permission to drop a note in everyone's inbox with the announcement!

     

    Really not as hard as it looks (or sounds), just make a master message, copy it and paste onto a "PM" for each member, EASY!

    Yeah xeroc, you are probably right but check this out, ever since I visited that site yesterday (03/07/03) and as a result created this post, I too have been experiencing strange things beyond the scope of normal everyday anomalisms I experience with my pc. :D ?

    I believe Archer to be the best so far because he has the advantage of being the first Captain of a Starship, therefore any time during the first couple seasons he appears to be a poor actor it can be attributed to him not having a prior Starship Captain example to follow.

    I agree VBG, at the old site, there were many problems behind the scenes, regular members were not aware of.

     

    This site is taking a little getting used to for me as well voyagerboy,

    but the more I cruise it and become familiar, the more I am becoming to LOVE-IT!

     

    There are so many great features I have not begun to explore yet, I am looking forward to creating some very fun posts with, eventually.
