  1. Ok, The "accident theroy could still work.

and this accident happened when and where that effected the whole empire?

Why are you asking me like that?

    Hey, it is your baby, you mentioned it first;

the accident theory and the aristocrats theory are the two best in star trek lore. but the reason is, they just did it. It would put it to rest if they showed a normal one and a ridge head on Ent.

That’s not true! I would want another NG flick but it is not practical, they have all be come to expensive. Come-on, BUCK-UP Trekette! You are not the first person to lose a fav to economics, try to begin focusing on the other series and what possibilities that lies with them.

    I'm Sorry!

  3. Put to rest? I do not think that would put it to rest and here is why, the question of why they had never been seen after TOS would be raised and more fuel would be poured on the ENTERPRISE controversy. The ENT doubters would say it is just more reason to get rid of Rick Berman for screwing up Trek.

Ok, The "accident theroy could still work.

  4. the thing i heard that makes sense to me is that the ones on TOS are of a higher prestige than the ones with the ridge in the forehead. so the plain looking ones would be your aristocrats, and the others are the warrior race, but the real reason is makeup cost, and just simply Gene rewrote there role, to show the clear difference between them and humans, and later on that even though they look different they still get along. does that answer your question? :D  :D

I love that explanation pogue, truly I do and I wish that idea had been incorporated into the mythos but I have yet to figure out if that is true then how/why did 3 Klingons that appeared on TOS without ridges later appear on DS9 with ridges?

Was their status somehow taken away from them? No because when they appeared on DS9 their Honor was intact.

  5. did you make it to the one the had in DC, Alterego, at the air and space museum in 1992 i think it was that was great. I saw the Star Trek: The Adventure exhibition in London on CNN when it opened and it does look cool, yet another reason i need to travel to London  :)  :)

Nope, never been there. Navada would be about 2,000 miles closer to us than DC would be.

Always seems the great attractions are never a short trip away from us. Even Trek Cons stopped coming to our town cause of lack of attendance :D and the closest Con we could ever have a chance to visit would be in LA. Calif.

  6. OOOOOHHHHHHHH, my original post, i forget about that thing, i gotcha, it was just an out of context quote that took me a few beats to get what you were talking about. of course i know the federation isn't estabished yet, it was just my review of the episode where it delt with prequel-y things

:D Busted! :) Yeah, you got me but it took you long enough :)

  7. "as well entry into the federation."

I thought The Federation did not exist yet?

    wha-!!??

Why the shock? Didn't you know the FED does not exist yet in the current timeframe of ENT?

That is why all of the episodes have been dealing with the kind of subject matter they have, the Prime Directive has yet to be written.

  8. How about this theory...

Although they are not a military org. by definition, they understand many (Ok, most) of the aliens they encounter do have true Mil orgs.

It is there fore prudent for Starfleet to look like a military org. so the Aliens encountered will understand the language of implied force even if that is not the goal of the Contact in the first place.

I don’t know, just thinking out loud... what do you think, plausible?

  9. For me, the end of this series had better be a launching pad for a trilogy (at least) of films that are not put together willy-nilly but are carefully crafted masterpieces. If they can do that, I would probably consider my appetite for ENT appeased, and could begin looking forward to the next project on the horizon.

that would be a great re-vitalizing factor for star trek. plus, release them like lotr with one every year (just film all three in advance). actually even if they dont it will kick *buttocks*

    Thanks!

The key for the films sucesses is in the PLANNING PLANNING! PLANNING!

If they focus on the planning and composure of the films, they could become the Trek box-office smashes of all time!
