  1. I'd rather stick with the idea of ENT being a true prequal with some interferrance from the TCW.

You are free to interpret ENT any way you wish.

You can only have one timeline at a time.

Who says I can only have one timeline at a time?

Uh-oh look out folks, the thought police have arrived!

If during the course of a Trek series they produce episodes which visit an alternative Universe, why could there not be, within a movie series, installments which visit alternate timelines, hmmmmm?

  2. I agree.

Please do not misunderstand me, I LOVE TOS, always have and nothing can EVER take the things TOS has brought to my life away from me. But at the first episode after Rick took over I could see a difference and I liked it, I continue to like it to this day (with the exception of VOY, there was some fumbling of the ball going on in that series, imo.)

About ENT, take The Crossing for example, please pardon my French but this episode knocks the crap right out of me for it's ability to pay homage to TOS while at the same time being it's self. Applying logical thoughts to it can fill all of its apparent plot holes. I call it a masterpiece of Trek creation and give kudos to Rick and Company for continuing to cause Trek to live on. Thank You Berman and CO, keep em'coming!

    Long Live Enterprise!

  3. Yes Lessa, you got the point exactly!

This would be a way for B&B to save face on their bad choice to rewrite history by saying FC changed the timeline, and put ENT on the track EVERYONE thought it was going to be on in the first place and at the same time make it look like that was their plan all along :wow:

Oh and to be fair, both films, INS and NEM would need to said of, they occurred in the altered timeline but the best news of all is that Data could still be alive in the correct timeline!!! B)

I am trying to work out something to post that would symbolize the correct order in which all of Star Trek could be played, including the alternate timelines in an order, which would make sense. :wow: Please wish me luck! :wow:

  4. 2. How do wisps travel in subspace yet are not able to survive in space - if they are noncorporeal why do they need a ship? If they can't repair the ship how do they pilot it? And how did they travel through space between ships.

    B) I think the answer here lies inside the question itself; "How do wisps travel in subspace yet are not able to survive in space-?" Answer; 'They cannot live in space therefore they need a ship to travel in subspace'. I thought this aspect of the episode was one of it's strong points, the idea of these beings having once been like us and having gone so far in their evolution yet one obstacle still remains for them to overcome added a strong sense of (humanistic) fragility still remaining to them.

This idea also addresses the broken ship question, the broken ship would have been the factor which caused them to either overcome, their inability to travel in space or die(?) but that happened anyway :wow: .

Imo, this adds up to some of the best sci-fi idealisms yet done on ENT.

    3. How did Phlox resuscitate everyone just by changing the air supply?

I say the story was strong enough that adding a sort of time dilation event which, caused no time to be wasted on explaining the crews resuscitations was fine with me, the events of Phlox flushing out the Co2 and replacing it with O2 and the crew reviving was a given, and time did not need to be wasted on showing us those events imo.

ENTERPRISE ROCKS MY STAR TREK WORLD! :wow:

  5. We have a couple here but they are a little bit of a trek (pardon the pun). The chairs are uncomfortable, the sound system is not that great and the film quality was not great but the price is good .

We have a $1.50 theater where I live!  The only thing I don't like about it, is you hear a LOUD sticky-crackle noise when you walk arround in the actual theater room! :wow:

    B) Like I said, an excellent cheap theater! :wow:

  6. Man!!! If I thought anyone deserved to be captain it would not have been you!! :wow: BUT since the powers that be decided you have posted enough to warrant it... I commend you for a job well done!!! Congratulations DSBS!!! B)

    Ktrek

What do you mean by that? DSBS is a great poster!

Ktrek, It is this kind of sniping which begins to bring down chatsites, please refrain.

  7. Diet Trek.... I like that, it fits VOY to a tee imo.

The day may come when I would say the same for ENT if Bermans promise of a 'New Direction' for ENT does not meet the new expectations his statement brings for ENT.

I have supported Rick and I wish to continue supporting Rick but his greatest goal for me would be reenergize ENT to the degree it reunifies the fans and the rift between fans caused by ENT so far, could begin to heal.

  8. I chose, a new female human nurse - recurring guest role because in most circumstances, all of the other characters have each other to mix and match pair up's with. The Doctor is the loner in the group most of the time.

I could foresee a lot of sparks flying between Phlox and who I would hope would be someone whom did not share the same views of male/female relationships as the Doctor does. Quite a bit of explorations between the sexes could be fleshed out with this combo.

If the female was an Alien, it could work as well but you only get one vote so I chose human.

  9. wah wo boys and girls here we have a fan who must love........... oh yah reality. B)  Oops sorry just joking   YEAR OF HELL RULED :wow:  if you saw it I PROMISE :wow:  you would LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

I watched AND recorded EVERY episode when they were new.

I am thrilled others thought/think VOY was apple pie but I do not think it lived up to its potential, the same way others believe ENT is not living up to it's full potential. :wow:

I wish I could do nothing but gush for VOY but it disappointed me in many ways. B)

  10. PVR is a digital VCR meaning no tape involved, correct?

Is the difference between Tivo and a PVR you don't have to subscribe to a service or is the sat service mandatory?

How many hours of record time do you have on the highest picture quality record time? How many with the least quality?

Can you connect it to a VCR for archiving on tape if you want to?
