  1. black tank top, black shorts w/ white stripe down the sides and am barefoot right now (I'll put on my flip-flops when it is time to head over to dance class). I have an ankle brace on my right foot right now, it is just so very sore right now.

And I have my hair pulled back with a black hairband.

  2. My useless fact for this afternoon: I am going to bring a baseball bat to work tomorrow, so I can beat the ever living crap out of our new computer system there! It is SLOW, and the way stuff is done is RIDICULOUS! :tribble::drool::drool:

I cannot STAND only doing one thing at a time at work, the old system allowed me to do about two to three things at once plus do two other non-computer related activities that need to be done.

  3. I think those younger women who go for older men are looking for $omething other than children.

oooooh, good one, UH. And it is sad, but probably true in a lot of cases.

In my case, my mom is older than my dad by about 6 months (I was born when my mom was almost 25, and my little brother was born when she was almost 31). My brother in law is older than my sister by about the same (my first niece was born when my sister was 22, and my second niece is due to be born in August).

My grandparents had 8 kids, the oldest born when my grandparents were in their late teens, and I think my uncle was born when my grandparents were in their mid 30's

  4. You mean... Tampa is NOT on there?!?!?!?!:tribble::drool:

Never realized Miami was really that bad (ok, so I was born there, and have only been back down there a few times in my life but still I STILL think Tampa and maybe Orlando are much worse! Miami does not even seem so bad.)

Trying to remember which town it was, but one of the towns I visited in Russia the drivers were quite NUTS, and heaven help you if you are a pedestrian! I know that is not US based, but they put the worst drivers here to shame (And aside from that and a couple other small things, Russia was a pretty cool place to be. So definately NO offense to Russians as a whole  )

  5. My mom is watching "Twins" in the living room, and I am not sure what my brother is watching right now. But other than that, there is no music on right now. But when I head out in my car I will be taking a couple CD's with me

  6. A lavender dress, that has lighter colored roses on it, black tights, and a navy blue gauntlet on my arm. Getting ready to go to a dance performance, so I will soon be changing into my black velvet dress with silver glitter on it and either put on my hard shoes or my ghillies depending on which dance I have to do first :tribble:

Oh, and my hair is now in a pair of French braids, that join into a pony tail at the bottom.

  7. Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.

The only man who never makes a mistake is the man who never does anything.

When you are asked if you can do a job, tell 'em, 'Certainly I can!' Then get busy and find out how to do it.

With self-discipline most anything is possible.

These are some of the quotes I have always liked.

  8. 1) Either look is fine.

    2) probably "Amish Paradise"

    3) Heck, yeah I still think UHF is hilarious!

hmm, favorite Weird Al songs......lots of them to pick from:

"Polkamon" was on the Pokemon2000 soundtrack

    "Jurassic Park"

    "Amish Paradise"

    "Everything You Know is Wrong"

    "I Love Rocky Road"

    "AlternaPolka"

    "Bohemian Polka"

    "Inagaddadavida Polka"

    "Polka Party"

    "Your Horoscope for Today"

LOL this list would pretty much go on and on.

  9. Yep.

I have a GameCube in my room ,with a GameBoy Advance adapter on it

I have a GameBoy SP that I usually stash in my purse, and in our living room we have a Playstation2 (mainly play Karaoke Revolutions I - IV on that one  )

  10. I used to more in the past.. now it is random space images, artwork I have done or pics of family and/or friends

Currently I have this really neat picture that was taken by somebody and had been posted over at Space.com. It is a picture of the recent solar eclipse, but in silouette is a bird sitting on a tree branch.

  11. :blush 2: :blush 2:  Just wearing a bed sheet of mine wrapped around me like a toga. Had just gotten out of an oatmeal bath

I got BADLY sunburned yesterday, and that is the only thing that feels halfway comfortable to wear right now. I had work today, but between the sunburn and a bit of a stomach ache(at least it is not as bad as it was earlier today) I was so miserable I asked to go home a bit early. Yeah, at work I tried wearing my uniform, but it was killing my skin.

  12. I am just wondering... why didn't Data transfer his personality matrix (or whatever its equivalent might be) to the Enterprise computer.

Because they tried that in A Fistfull of Datas and it didn't work out too well.

*gets bad memory of seeing Data in drag at the end of that episode and starts shaking my head and praying nobody posts that pic again*

And we do not want to have THAT happen again

  13. I had posted at ST.com for only a couple weeks when I moved over to STF.

Takara, Lessa and dsbs had made me feel so welcome over at ST.com :spock: ... I had checked out this board, but did not migrate until I had gotten a message from Takara saying she had joined here. Of course, as you all know Lessa and dsbs had moved over here too. I think they joined only a couple days after me.

My first STF friend was Data. The board was going through one of its updates and made it so the site was pretty much offline. I panicked not knowing what the heck was going on (I was VERY new to message boards), and tried PM'ing him after checking out his profile and the posts he had written. He seeemed to be a nice person, and would probably be able to help me out. Plus, at the time Takara had already signed off and Data was one of the few people still online at that time

We became good friends over the past three years, and have posted not only at this board but at least three other non-Trek boards and three message boards that he has created (one of which I had moderated at).

Other people on the boards... well, EmilSoong, GanahFereoh & Beware of BAKKE do not count I guess because they are all family members :borg2:
