  2. Hey everyone,

I am going to be taking a break from the boards for an indefinate time.. starting on the grounds my gall bladder surgery will be coming up soon and will be away during that time. I will miss you all in the time I am away and I will try to stop by here at least occasionally

    :)

  3. If its the Seahawks VS the Colts in the SuperBowl, I'll be rooting for the Seahawks all the way.

Being a Jaguar fan... definately will root on the Seahawks if this becomes the pairing for Super Bowl since the Colts are in our division and have handed us two of our losses this season!

And since Holmgren and Hasselbeck are former Packers, and I am a Packer fan (regardless of this season so far) again I would cheer for the Seahawks.

  4. THough they have a good year going for them after a few stinkbomb seasons...

    The Jaguars.

First off something HAS to be done with the Offensive front line, and rather than trying to skirt around salary cap issues working with the front line so that they ACTUALLY protect the quarterback. Repeatedly the pocket collapses, mostly in regards to when Leftiwich is the QB but it does still occur when Gerhard is there.

There are a few veterans in there still, but really are not doing much in the way of actually blocking and protecting. THey have improved but when they are crumbling to a team that is 2 - 9 or 3 - 8, that is pretty darned pathetic. Or having to rely on their defense, true it is one of the best in the league and I am a big fan of the defensive side of the game (what can I say I was a DT in my high schools Sr vs Jr powder puff game. :) ) But having to fall back on them to save the day is dumb (or the Offense just likes to appear lazy to all of us spectators!!! )

I should get my mother to come here and check out this thread... she'd have a blast with it I think. Best bet, she'd pick apart the Jaguars, and more than likely the Packers (especially with the current season). She has been a Packers fan since probably birth (well being from Wisconsin and all does not hurt :) ) And besides, she is the one who taught be football and all the other sports she played growing up.

  5. Never had it.

    GAH! fruit! BLECH!

We have a TRUE aussie Xmas. Prawns, steak, snags (sausages) and a beautifull salad!

    I'm drooling already

    *drools*

    Prawns... :)

Anyways, Yes I like egg nog, hate fruitcake (even though my grandfather was a baker, I still hate fruitcake),

And we have prime rib for Christmas Eve Dinner

And sour cream waffles & Rommegrot for Christmas Breakfast (the second item is actually a wedding porridge served at Norwegian weddings, but we love the stuff so much. It is a sour cream porridge) This year I could not eat the Rommegrot since it was made with regular sour cream, and under Drs orders I cannot eat that... I kinda slipped by the rule by having fat free sour cream in the waffles :) And turkey bacon instead of pork bacon.... since the turkey has 65% less fat.

  6. Merry Christmas... by the way can we have Boxing Day tomorrow?

Also if I am correct in getting the dates right, it is Hanukkah tomorrow as well (someone said it fell on today, but I have seen on calendars that it is tomorrow).

  7. black pants, black tank top, a sea green sweater over that. blue slippers, and a gauntlet my sister made me for Christmas (THANK YOU EmilSoong!!!!!! :P )

Also I have my hair pulled back into a bun with a black hairband ( :) Yeah a small bun because my hair is just above shoulder length right now).

  8. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :) :) :)

    lots of food
    Yeah, definately good

:) Mom made it so I could still enjoy our traditional Christmas Eve meal, and Christmas breakfast... even with all my new food restrictions!!! Though I did slip up and get into the fudge, that was made with the regular ingredients and it made my stomach burn a bit (it is supposed to be low or no fat, and I am not really supposed to be eating chocolate :blush 2: :P My surgeon will probably kick my backside for that one, my mom kind of bugged me about it when she caught me trying a small piece.)

  9. blue gauntlet, yellow sweatshirt, my work shirt, a long sleeve black shirt, a pair of black bike shorts (which I often wear for dance class), and my black socks and shoes. Oh and a white cloth headband with little Christmas trees on it.

In a few minutes, it will be everything mentioned above but minus the yellow sweatshirt and the workshirt. After all gotta get rid of the work clothes the pants I was wearing I had already changed out of... true if I go outside anytime soon I have to wear my sweatpants since it is chilly out.
