  1. That was a Q contrived future and not of "our real" timeline, but ah that is were true.

 Oh, how I wish the future in All Good things were real...Damn Nemesis(the movie)!

    Welcome to the boards nemesis59!!!

  2. I totally agree with you Lessa.  I wouldn't consider Data to be "just a machine" as early as season.  Maybe when he was first activated but once he became sentient (and I don't mean in The Measure of a Man) he became much, much more that a "machine/computer".  Data was more human than many people I know who supposedly are!!!

PS  Lessa, I really am rubbing off on you (Dallas reference)

    I agree..

And cptwright..I am not trying to start a fight..I just thought it was cruel(towards B4) how bysty worded his post is all.

  3. Oh geez, I have a list...but for right now I will only write: Clerks, Scary Movie, South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut, oh darn there is more but I don't want to bore everyone....
    Last Action Hero. BBBBUUUURRRRPPPP!

I thought scary movie and south park were both pretty funny. (HATED THE CANADA BASHING THOUGH!!!!!!!! :o   ) At some times I have a really childish sense of humour and i watch movies like the naked gun and monty python, while other times its alot more mature and ill watch a movie like the royal tennebaums. im pretty film snobish though. i takes alot to make me happy unless it is a really sophisticated or really SLAPSTICK funny.

And the last action here (doesnt deserve capitals. lol  ) stunk. To quote the Simpsons: "Magic ticket my @$$!!!" --Cheif Wiggim. lol.

The part of South Park that I hated the most(the Canada bashing was definately up there though) was all of the Sadam and Satan as lovers scenes, those were disgusting!

  4. OK, it is a strange movie...if you are used to Robin Williams' stand up comedy routines then it is not so unusual....

    Here is something I found...

Everybody loves Smoochy (Edward Norton), the host of America's favorite children's television show… Everybody, that is, but Rainbow Randolph (Robin Williams), the disgraced kids-show host who plots to bump off his horned competition after Smoochy takes over his show. Finally, a movie designed to let us take out all that pent-up "Barney-must-die" aggression.

Death to Smoochy (Action, Comedy) is rated R for language and sexual references. Rating Guide

It is not really a family movie...but I thought it was hilarious in a strange way(maybe it is because I am not a fan of Barney???)

  5. FROM JEM SOONG TO YILLARA SOONG;
    :o HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't know there are alot of birthdays in May!!

Thanks Jem!! :( And I agree with you...I never knew there were so many birthdays in May either  !!

  6. What is your favorite all time movie? Well, besides Star Trek First Contact and Nemesis, the Two Towers, Fellowship of the Ring, Braveheart, Apollo 13, Gettysburg, Glory, Chicago, Monty Python and the Quest For the Holy Grail.. there are sooo many more I cant count

What is the scariest movie you've ever seen? Nothing is really scary to me but creepy: Event Horizon, One-Hour Photo, and Ghost Ship...OK and The Resurrected was kinda creepy too(at least I think what taht one was called).

The funniest?Monty Python, and Death To Smoochy

The most thought provoking?Mary Reilly, Sixth Sense(just to name two-the fact that you have to think throughout it to figure out the outcome)

The saddest: Nemesis(the end enough said!), What Dreams May Come, Sixth Sense(well scenes from it anyhow...especially at the end)

Offbeat:Death To Smoochy, and Monty Python

Romance: Sweet Home Alabama(at least this is best romance as of right now)

  7. Of course I believe there is alien life out there...I mean that is one of the many reasons I like trek so much, they are exploring and meeting new worlds and species...and besides my favorite character wasn't born on Earth!

  8. No, James T Kirk and Carol Marcus never got married.

James Kirk did marry, but that was in Shatner's novels.

What about Miramanee? (Or however you spell it.)

I write fanfic, and Lady Narana is my fav character. I won't go into my reasoning for choosing her name for my own, but my list is not limited just to "Because I like her." I developed "Narana" as a name because it was easy to type, and I knew I would be typing it a lot.

Cool, another screen name chosen because of a specific fan fic character!!! Although my fan fic is only in its infant stages(though it has been in my head since I was 12).
