  1. I did not know that nemesis59...However I did have a really funny argument with my little sister in a parking lot. She had just seen Men In Black II and had seen the Nemesis trailer. She goes "Did you know that Lore was in the movie?" I told her that that was not Lore she saw, she saw his brother B4. She did not believe me at all and we argued on and off until I went to see the movie(I went with my brother). When she discovered who B4 was and what he was like..she decided that she was going to boycott seeing Nemesis (B4 p***ed her off that much!) Note for those who don't know already...My sister's favorite character of TNG is Lore(this smilie works for her feelings about him--> :innocent: )! She says she may come over to watch Nemesis at my house when I get the DVD, she still is not sure especially since she is also quite irked with the ending(she also knew I was devistated by it)!

  2. don't worry bout it - I'm always getting confuzzled. Just ask...anyone.

Confuzzled......I really like that word. confuzzled, confuzzled, confuzzled. updown.gif

    lol!

I didnt really like the one with two Picards...I thought he acted pretty stupidly (don't kill me either!!!). I mean, he knew leaving the ship was what set off the chain of events in the first place - they figured it out earlier in the episode, and yet as soon as the time comes, that's exactly what he's about to do until he sudden;y changes his mind and kills the other Picard...? (I understood it, and I don;t think the episode is BAD, I just didn't like it that much, is all)

I agree...that was definately one of the weaker episodes of Season 2...and we all know Shades of Grey are definately on the top of my I really don't like this episode list. Wait it is the only one on that list!!!!

  3. lessa, I loved what you said about "sensing worry about what? What;s for dinner or the Enterprise". I mean, that;s not what you said, but LOL anyways!

Well, Lessa IS right on the money with that comment!!! :( :innocent:

  4. Deanna had a new hairstyle as often as she had a new boyfriend. and that was often for both.

That sounds about right....reminds me of my sister...she would change her style for each boyfriend or crush! And she is not teh only one, several of my teammates would do that too....arggh they drive me crazy

  5. I have voted this way in every poll that has been done about this(and there has definately been more than 2...) I voted yes!

If there has been a yes/no poll on this topic before then I would like to say sorry to the person who did it first for stealing your idea.

I don't think there have been any yes/no polls on this question. I think Yillara means she has voted for TNG to be in the next movie in any polls that have been posted regarding ST XI.

I want more TNG too but it has to have Brent Spiner and/or Patrick Stewart.

I am sorry if my post was misleading..Takara did assume correctly that is what I meant. That I had voted yes I want to see another TNG movie, in the other Should there be another TNg movie, Should there be another Trek film, Which Cast Do you want to see, Trek XI..ect. None were exactly yes/no polls...but there was options with yes or no on them...

  6. Hope this helps answer at least one of your questions....this is from ST.com's library...

Bajor cemented a relationship with the UFP by inviting Starfleet administration of Terok Nor, the onetime Cardassian slave-labor mining and processing station in orbit; it was renamed DS-9 and moved near the wormhole to protect it. DS-9 is now about five hours away from Bajor by native transport, though only about three-hours away by Runabout.

and they do not provide much information in regards to transporter ranges, however someone else may be able to provide that for you....

Vast and ancient, the universe has a lot to teach us. It does not care about borders or conflict. Science tells us what it says, and

what to do with it. From this understanding we have technology. Scientists are always pushing to learn more about the universe

and about ourselves. How we use that knowledge defines our respect for the universe that spawned it.

All I have to say is......  :innocent:  !!

I guess mine would work out seeing as I am majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics...

  8. It really did not sound like an apology. If you have mis spoke, perhaps a retraction would be the best course of action.

I am friends with others on this board and if they say something wrong, my being there friend does not make it less wrong.

I too am a fan of Trek and God.

The thing is, we fans have a fit over a tiny little bit of unpainted skin being shown on Data's arm in First Contact. To expect us to not jump all over this is.... :innocent:

Exactly, you put this in to words the best Lessa

  10. i wasnt aware of these 'freedom' fries. i live in Canada though, so i geuss it doesnt affect us.

poutine is the BEST. ive never been to Quebec so ive only tried the other stuff but its still good. sounds gross: deep fried potatoes, gravy, and cheese curds, but its SOOOOOOO good

Yeah, it seems like the US is the only ones pulling this attitude and even then....there are only a small percentage that are being obnoxious.....like I said before...they ARE French Fries to me and always will be!
