  1. (sigh) on the arm of the man of my dreams...why do i keep waking up!

    thanks UhuraRiker.

Yeah I know that one....darn why do I have to wake up, if I stay asleep, In my dreams I am his wife or at least his girlfriend!

  2. OMG, I love Monty Python and the Holy Grave. I guess I am too young to know more of the stories, but I love their time travel episode where the kid traveled back to this place to get something, was weird; but funny as hell. I think the movie was Time Thieves, but i can be competely wrong.

Time Bandits you were referring to...

Time Bandits was the movie, it came on UPN a long time ago. Just like around 3 years :( I think B) , but it was so funny B) i still remember it

    Glad I could help you..

And Alterego...I was going to post that one too, but I too couldn't remember the exact wording of the scene, probably because I was laughing too hard to be completely listening!

  3. OK, and since I work with kids....their addiction for Pokemon rubbed off a little and I catch that show from time to time.

Strange, it's had the opposite effect on me. My nephews and baby brother are addicted to Pokemon and every time I see it i want to run screaming to the hills. :( Now Spongebob on the other hand, I could watch that all day. B)

I used to run screaming when I saw the first season of Pokemon(before they reworked the voices) and I swore I would have nothing ever to do with that show....then my brother introduced me with the Game Boy game and I found the game play to be interesting, especially the scientific research you help out with (you are on the goal to seek out all the species of Pokemon, and collect information on them to return to the Professor). And then my student s found out that I was playing the game, they began the influence. Next thing you know I have now watched at least a season of Pokemon, have the four movies, and have played one of the most recent versions of the game (Crystal)

But when it comes to cartoons: nothing beats old Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner, Mickey Mouse cartoons. Or George of the Jungle, Dudley Do-Right, Mighty Mouse..ect, ect..

As for SpongeBob....definately not a fan of him, my boss on the other hand is a HUGE Spongebob fan!!!

  4. My second favorite game genre is Real time strategy like Command and Conquer:Generals,Age of Mythology,Empire Earth and Star Trek:Armada 1 and 2 :(

I saw Age of Mythology in the store and was going to get it (but my personal computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements, but the family one does), is it really good??? I am a fan of Scandinavian, Greek, Egyptian, and Celtic mythology and am a bit of a sucker for history...so please share your reviews!!!

  5. Which version of Banana popsicle are you referring too? they are all pretty darned good: banana flavored ice popsicle, chocolate covered banana popsicle(either whole banana dipped in chocolate and frozen or blended banana dipped in chocolate and frozen), or the old banana and fudge Firecracker popsicles. Darn it I am probably going to have to have a banana/strawberry/chocolate(Carnation Good Start Instant Breakfast) milkshake soon!!

  6. "AROOOOOOO!"-sound from the room on the right!

"Shut up, darn it..we have to wait for Takara and Lessa to give the signal!"---Yillara holding the door closed, and speaking to the wolves, "What? What noise in the room?? There is nothing in there, really."

Seriously folks, who could be a better qualified Second Officer than Data? Well, IMO he is also equally qualified to be a First Officer or Captain, or even Admiral...but, that is of course IMO.

  8. Huh?? I guess I should add rewatching FC to my list of things to do tomorrow.. A crack across Florida, darn that is my home state :( !

Maybe it could be either of the things you mentioned nemesis59....but, and many people have never heard this...the St. John's River is an ancient faultline, and from time to time we actually get mild tremors, some will actually register on the Richter scale(but it usually is so mild that most people think it could be a large truck going past their home or office). I am pretty sure that the art direction staff of F.C didn't use that bit of information when they did the graphics of the Earth, but it is said in the future(at least 300-500 years) we will actually feel a more major quake(similar to the one that was recently felt in Alabama-I think that one was a 4.9) and a major quake can disturb the landmass and cause a crack, similar to what you said you saw in FC.
