    Hello and welcome to the boards Owerlord! I currently do not have an idea where you can get your hands on those graphs, but you can always search on the net for places that DO carry them...there are many places online where you can get science related items(lab equipment, graphs, charts, books...ect, ect.) And definately ask master_q, he may be able to more directly lead you to those graphs...

     

    Have fun on the boards, and being interested in physics myself, I will see you areound the Sci & Tech boards!!

    Welcome Admiral!! I was a rather new addition to ST.com when all that spamming and negativity really got ridiculous...I had made a couple of friends there, but the spamming was too much. Luckily, I discovered that Takara had moved over here..I moved over a few hours after I made that discovery and then our other sisters moved over as well(Lessa and dsbs). As you can tell from our post numbers....this is definately a much more friendly environment!! I love it here and hope you do too!!!

    Welcome aboard LadyNarana!  I'm sure you'll love it here.  These boards rock.  I agree with jdigs' comments.  This site is the first message board that I have been to where the word "community" is an appropriate description.  We also have a very large number of women at this site - who said Trek is only for the guys!!!  Have fun!!!

    I agree with what my sister said here...and Welcome to the boards...

     

     

    And I agree with ~Crims~ don't feed the alligators.....

     

     

    oh and my little addition....try not to feed the other animals either...especially don't feed them chocolate! :tear: Sorry, I could not resist!! Welcome, and have lots of fun!!!!

    I never saw any ST references in South Park...but then, I've seen roughly 4 episodes...

     

    If the movie was ick, at least say how Brent was!!

    He was just barely heard in it...I know he was impersonating Conan O'Brian...but I recognized his voice. Except for his voice the rest of that movie shocked me and grossed me out!!!!

     

    There is a time where they have a boxing tournament and the kids convince Jesus that he said a quote and when one of the kids goes "He really said that?" one of the other kids goes,"No, dude that was from Star Trek!"...It was the quote that Riker uses against Cochrane in First Contact...

    I have autographed pics of Dr.McCoy (De Forest Kelly), Dr.Pulaski (Diane Muldaur),Capt.Picard (Patrick Stewart), Scotty (James Doohan),Mr.Sulu (George Takei), Tuvok (Tim Russ), Trelane (William Campbell), Quark (Armin Shimerman) and Mr.Chekov (Walter Koenig). The pics are framed and hung in a way to frame my bookcase which is entirly filled with Star Trek books.My walls are adorned with movie posters from most of the films and I have the models of all the Starships and DS9 sitting around on just about every flat surface in my house.

    You lucky lucky lucky licky guy!!!!!!!

    All my friends/non-friends know I like trek, and they don't care (some of them like it with me). I don't havve too much stuff in my room b/c I don't want to give my parents and brother ammo (I mean, they know I like...certain people, but they have NO PRROF! If I EVER put a Data pic on my wall I would stare at it so blatantly there would no longer be any doubt. Also, as I'm pretty new to trekdom and on a tight budget, I don't have much merchandice - as in nothing except the DVDs and a few thumb-nail pics printed from the internet...)

    Yeah, but if there is anything I have learned from being on these boards...why be ashamed of liking trek or certain people! My dad can never remember who I like...and my mom and brother kid me about being in love with Data, but, I know they are doing it to be silly. They have never been out and out mean about their jokes.

    Or South Park they quoted Trek many times....Brent Spiner also provided the voince of Conan O'Brian in the South Park movie(yes, I hate to admit that, but yes I did see that movie...in one word ICK!) I liked the first season of Park...but went way past the gutter by start of season two or three(some eps were funny and cute...but...to the rest of them EWWW!! OK to tell the truth my favorite characters were Ike, and the Cows)

    I voted Buffy the Vampire Slayer...it was a cute funny show, even though it was supposed to be a drama. Some of my favorite episodes are "Hush", "Once More With Feeling"(and yes, I DO have the soundtrack to this), and the Thanksgiving Episode. I haven;t been wathcing the show because of the new time slot(here in Florida it comes on after 11pm) and the series has been slowly going down hill since about season5 or 6.

    Reason why he wasnt promoted was because it would not have fit the story of TNG..he was after all a character on a tv show..in the end would a promotion have made a difference? when ur the 2nd officer on the best ship in the fleet what else is there.

    but jdigs...then what was the point of ANY of the others getting promoted?

     

    And you re right about the part where you say he is the best Second Officer! He would have been equally great as a 1st Officer, or captain or Admiral!!

    I don't think his memory should be wiped....it would change who he is. Even though he would have to live with the guilt of having the blood of hundreds or even thousands of innocent people on his hands...so, then you would have to worry about him trying to kill himself....darn that IS a conundrum, Lessa!
