See kor, I told you it would be ok.

No you didn't. You told me I was in for a most painful and excruciating time!......of course.....I haven't started physical therapy yet..... :)

Busy day planned for today. I have to go to the bank, get my hair done and see the doctor about my arm. I guess the doc will outline the physical therapy I'm supposed to do. I'm ready to start that immediately. Not being able to fully use my arm is getting old really fast!

- One of my long time Assistant Managers is in the hospital. He's got some severe lung problems caused from years of smoking. He doesn't have cancer. He has scar tissue on his lung which makes it hard for his lungs to process oxygen. The hospital has him on full oxygen. Meanwhile, he's still looking for a cigarrette to light up. I'll never understand this behaviour. When your doctor tells you that you only have 40% of your lung capacity, how big of a piano has to fall on your head for you to give up smoking?... :)

I said the surgery would be fine, you would be in some pain after it, but it would get better.

My dad had prostate Cancer and if anything he sped up on his smoking so this is not a big shock. And it will come as no shock that the Cancer that killed him was a new and separate cancer called... LUNG cancer. Trust me if he saw what I saw in 7 days he would be repulsed but the death sticks. Three years ago I had 2 parents Today I have none and at least one of them was killed by smoking. I really wish some people would wake the heck up.

- I start physical therapy on my shoulder tomorrow. Its been feeling pretty good.

- My assistant manager finally got out of the hospital on Saturday. He's coming back to work tomorrow.

- Drove to Pennsylvania yesterday. One of my best friends moved up there and he had a housewarming cook-out yesterday. We had a pretty good time.

- Just finished watching the Ravens' game. 2nd week in a row where they built up a big lead and almost blow it. They won though which is the best part!

- I went to my first physical therapy session yesterday. It wasn't bad. First they applied some heat and electricity. Then they had me do some exercises bending my arm different ways. They told me my progress so far has been really good.

- More problems at work. Another one of my drivers is in the hospital. He has diabetes and he has a hole in his foot clear down to the bone which won't heal so who knows how long this will take!

Gosh, Kor, half your employees are in the hospital and the other half are in jail. What kind of place are you running?

It's best not to ask Van Roy.

- Found out today that my driver who is in the hospital has to have one of his toes cut off! I guess he'll be out for awhile now.

- On the bright side, my driver who is in jail should get out on Monday.... :nono:

- In the meantime, I have to pick up the slack and do things I shouldn't be doing with my arm.

I just hope I don't tear my sutures apart in my shoulder but I have no choice.

The lawyer for the driver of mine that is in jail asked me to appear at his trial so I could tell the judge that he has a job and is a good worker. I had no problem with that. I've done it before. So I dressed up in my good suit and tie and went to the courthouse. The only problem is that I went to the wrong courthouse because nobody gave me any directions whatsoever. I parked in the parking garage and walked two blocks to the courthouse. When I went in, I was told that no cell phones were allowed in the building. So I walked two blocks back to my car to put away my phone and then walked another two blocks back to the courthouse. I went through the metal detector only to find that.......this was the wrong courthouse. I was at the District courthouse and I needed to be at the Circuit court. So I......walked two blocks back to my car and drove up the road to the next courthouse.........which also turned out to be........the wrong courthouse.. :) ....Fortunately I was close enough to walk another block up the road to finally find......the right courthouse!... :) I ran into the building thinking I was going to be in trouble because the trial was scheduled for 9:15 am and it was now 9:45 am. When I got to the courtroom, I found out that the lawyer wasn't there yet. He had called to say he was running late..... :) So I sat down on a bench outside the courtroom and waited......and waited.......and waited. The lawyer finally shows up at 11:00 am. He tells me that a plea bargain has been arranged so if my driver pleads guilty, the judge will probably let him walk today. When we got into the courtroom, thats exactly what happened. My driver went free and my testimony wasn't even needed........ By this time its going on noon and I have a physical rehab appointment at noon for my arm. I race out of the courthouse back to my car so I can call and ask them if I could still come in. Fortunately, they were slow and I was able to come in late to have my arm shocked, twisted and turned in every position. After all that, I just went home and collapsed.

Whoa, I would have been crazed if that happened to me! You deserve to collapse after that.

On the bright side, your driver isn't in the slammer, AND you had a much better chance of seeing either Alan Shore or Denny Crane! :)

- I spent the entire day doing paperwork. As much as I would like it to happen, the darn paperwork doesn't go away if you just glare at it and let it pile up...... :) The only break I took was to go to the post office and the bank. Now I'm relaxing with a nice cold Coors..

Fairly busy day today:

- Finally got caught up with all of my paperwork...

- Went to physical therapy. They want me to start taking the pills again to get the inflamation down. The arm is worse this week than last week.

- I bought tickets for a friend of mine and myself to go see The Donnas. We'll probably be the oldest people there..... :)

- Put a new starter on one of my vans that stopped running this morning.

- Tomorrow I'm going to buy tickets to see Neil Young. He's coming next month to Washington DC. Thats only about 40 minutes away from me so its no big deal.

I'm spending the day recuperating from last night. Me and a friend went to a local venue to see The Donnas in concert. It was a great show and we had a really good time.

I finally got some sleep and recovered from the concert. I forgot to mention that before the concert I went to a cook-out for one of my drivers whose birthday it was. It was a real white trash cook-out. Most of the men were wearing either biker gear or they were running around with no shirt on with their big beer guts hanging out. Most of them also wore cut off jeans that were worn so low as to see their butt-crack... :)

The women all had tattoos and various piercings. I stayed for about an hour and left.

Today, I have to take one of my vans to the shop because the "check engine" light is on. I also have to go to physical therapy today. Then I have to take of of my other vans to get all new tires.

No no....I stood out from the crowd. I wore a Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas shirt and black shorts.... :)

so are you anti white trash?

Not particularly. However, I get very amused by them.....

One shirtless guy was telling his 16 year old son that in two years he won't have to pay his "Fu***** Bi***" of a mother any more child support......real nice...... :)
