  1. If only DS9 came on when I was not at school...! I want to watch it everyday, but school interferes. Oh well. School will unable to me to get a job, make enough to buy all episodes, and watch Trek whenever I wnat. So... my answer would have to I will die to watch Trek everyday, but when one is in high school, that is not as possible.

  2. My Mom strongly disapproves. She likes Star Trek herself, and liked it a lot when she was younger, but never as much as me. She thinks it has turned in an "obsession," and has taken over my life. She says I should be interested in several things and not adjust every little thing in my life to be Trek. TSonofvulcan is the one who introduced me to Star Trek and he loves it even more than me, so she thinks he is a bad influence (in that regard at least). My Dad just teases me- for example, he knows that I either want to be the Empress of Romulus or the Chairman of the Tal Shiar, so he calls me "empress," but in a sort of mocking way. My little sister is embarrassed to be seen with me. Everyone knows I am a nerd and she is a popular cheerleader... She disapproves too. Everyone at school thinks I am "weird" and at my old school, they were downright mean to me for it. I have not exactly had good experiences, but it just goes to show how closed-minded people were a few hundred years ago- uh, now. Were it not for TSon... But then, I have always been "weird" so no big deal in my opinion.

  4. Does anyone mind making a personalized banner for me and adding it into the rotation? I still do not have any sort of photo editing thing but I do [finally] have a picture of myself on the computer. I do not really care what it looks like, general things to put on might be Spock, Valeris, Spock, me in uniform, Spock, a Romulan warbird, and Spock. LOL Thank you! I can e-mail my picture, since I am not certain of how to put it on here.

Hmmm... not bad... a different site gave me different answers but I cannot remember the URL... this is good though.

  6. I have only been in my new school for 2 days, so I will talk about my status at my old school. VERY unpopular nerd. I was at an extremely small school; there were 24 people in my entire grade. As a result, everyone knew everything no matter what it was. They all knew I was in love with Star Trek and hated me for it. I good straight As, but they did not care about that. The only people who liked me were my two best friends, TSonofvulcan and Rachel, and a few random students and teachers. I admit that I did not do much to become popular either. People were mean to me, so I was even meaner back. This was only with words, luckily. My little group got to be known as the "Star Trek group," about on the same level of popularity as the "Yu-Gi-Oh group." We did not care though, which was good.

  7. Cool, two other people have put pins in my state so far! By the way, I am not sure how accurate my pin is. I just moved to Kansas, so I do not really have a good idea of exactly where my city is in the state. This thing is awesome though!

  8. I must say that I am a teenage girl, so I probably will not be thinking clear on this question. I would never want to go to an all-girls school. Almost all my best friends have been guys and I just do not get along as well with girls my age. As for the different styles of learning, I do not really believe in that. Everyone learns differently, no matter their gender. If anything, I might want a seperate school for every child! But that, of course, is impossible. I like my mixed-gender school, a lot, and I think that so long as one is focused on their studies and not the opposite gender, everything will work out fine.

  9. She could call it just about anything so long as she finishes it! I am not sure that I would like Attack of the Clones though... PLEASE HURRY UP JKR!!!!!! I am still having to tide myself over with the Harry Potter section of fanfiction.net!

  10. I have a guinea pig named Tribble...

Seriously though, I think that is awesome! I hope that my husband, whoever he will be, will let me name our kids after Trek characters. Hopefully I will even marry a Trekkie! Who knows, check back in ten years...

  11. I have never used one, but I think that, given the opportunity, I wouold see what it is all about. I certainly do not really believe in things like that but it might be an interesting experience.

  12. I still consider myself a very new Trek fan, despite having been obsessed with it for almost a year. I find that I am still too easily influenced. My family disapproves of my obsession and though I do not care one bit what they think, they still influence me. Also, I have been unable to watch Trek for a long, long time (it did not come on in France) and I find myself getting more and more imersed in other things. Sometimes I worry that I no longer care for Trek. Yet, it all always comes back to me when I crack open the next Trek book or sit down to watch an episode. Hmmm, I need to find out when it comes on here in Kansas... I could never give of my love of Trek, no matter how far I get from it. And also, though I have indeed noted the OOC-Trekiness (how else should I put that?) in ENT, I still like it. It will never be my favorite, but it is still Star Trek. And I love every bit of Trek.
