I really liked Soren's speech from The Outcast (TNG). I remember thinking that there is someone who will love whoever she wants, no matter what anyone thinks. I just admired that because I am very independent with things like that too.

I also hate people like this guy I know named Alexi. He likes Star Trek, but he keeps it secret, since it is geeky and he wants to be cool. I say that he is not worthy to like Star Trek. This is just as bad as people who say it sucks after one or two episodes.

Maybe they went around the sun like in STIV. Wow, I actually made a realistic suggestion! Mark this day on the calendar!

-
I think I saw that somewhere. This seems to be one of the biggest questions about STVI. I see it everywhere.
On just a fun note, maybe the same make-up artist did the did and the UFP president.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was not sure since Dad recording it of television years ago, and it was edited for television, so then when I became a Trekkie, I refused to settle for an edited version and bought the special edition. I was not sure if that was just a part that was edited out or a true extra scene.

we need a great movie where the Federation finally says enough treaty violations is enough and get cloaking devices on all the starfleet ships. Then, they go in and invade Romulus and win. Then the Romulans are never heard from again. After all, the Romulans aren't that powerful. They rely on their intelligence and that won't help them much if a big fleet is coming.
T'Son, how could you!? How could you betray me like this!? I know that you do not like Romulans, but we are best friends! You do not see me threatening to destroy all Bajorans, do you? Another thing, as you see in page five of the Romulan Honor thread, the Federation has as many violations, if not more, than the Romulans! Besides, the Romulans could hold their own. And if the Romulan Empire was destroyed, see the results in the An Empire Divided? thread.
Like I said before, we need to see the Romulans as a people. Too many Federation citizens, like T'Son, know nothing about them as a people, and only see them as an enemy to be destroyed. What happened to the Federation mission of peace?

The uniforms were not the greatest, but whatever. I never really cared what Spock... I mean the crew... wears because he will look handsome... I mean they will look good... in anything. :olol, I double that!

We need to get together and decide which uniform we want Spock to wear most. Hmmm... this should be interesting...

He is right, you know, T'Son. What would your fellow Vulcans say about allegations such as these? Welfconfed, does this feel like you are fighting my battle for me? I mean, you are the one who looked up all those sources and things. I am sorry if this is so. Though, it is interesting to be a bit more of the watcher in this debate instead of the one who posts every other post like it so often is with you and I.

This is hilarious, especially coming from someone who cannot even spell "prophet" in their signature.
Sorry T'Son, I could not resist, especially since I do not follow the prophets at all.The uniforms were not the greatest, but whatever. I never really cared what Spock... I mean the crew... wears because he will look handsome... I mean they will look good... in anything.

It is nice to see some else whose Mom likes Star Trek. My Mom is really annoyed with my "obsession," as she calls it, but then she tells me of all the crazy things she did back in the seventies or something because she liked it almost as much as I do now! However, she can still sometimes sit down and watch Star Trek with me.

I remember this one. It definitely shows how much you love the Excelsior class. And just think- last year you said the sovereign was your favorite and you were calling the the Excelsior the Alka Seltzer!
Good poem though.

Lovely. I am going there.

I have not seen that episode in a long time, but good catch. I did not notice.

I am a cornbread snob. At this one camp I once went to, we ground corn and then cooked it into cornbread over and open fire, then put honey on it and ate it. Now, I cannot have any other type of cornbread without hating it.

Patrick Narron goes over the falls.
Deborah Stansell goes down the drain.
Alexi Kiratzis goes up the river.
I hate them all and they will never come here so I can say that! Yay!

My little sister once put a bunch of that shredded cheese out of a bag on something, took a bite, and got a mouthful of mold. Ew. Glad it was not me!

Forget my brain, my darling laptop ate my SOUL! No seriously, I get home from anything and immediately there is this "calling" from the laptop. This happens especially when I have a lot of home work.

Find a song that you only know one line to, and that line will go round and round in your head for two months after that. It is annoying, but it is a change... for the first few hours.

LMAO, do not really do this; it is way annoying.

T'Son, do you mind putting things in paragraphs? No offense, that was just a bit hard to read. And alright, since you two agree on only established, canon, I will too, although several of my best sources come from books. And T'Son, there were probably not even 50-60 episodes with Romulans in them! How can you say then, that there are 50-60 violations!? I find that very difficult to believe.
-
I have never tried it, though Mom says she hates it.
-
I like North Star.
-
Where?

And we are right to be prideful! Klingons do have no honor. See one particular post of Welfconfed, where he describes the different mindsets of Romulans and Klingons... I cannot remember which post that is, but it is true.
-
Why, Tinadoll, anyone is allowed to think something suckis- but only if they have a full knowledge of it. So yes, it would be logical then.
T'Son, I am forever grateful to you for introducing me to Star Trek. To Spock and Picard!

I do not believe in evolution, but even if I did, I cannot believe that Klingons and Vulcans could have evolved that much in such a short amont of time. I agree that it is quite stange. And TUH, I agree with the whole "gender roles" thing. At least Roddenberry was ahead of his time enough to originally cast a female as second in command, even though no one would air it at first.
