  1. Have you heard of Star Trek Meetup?  You can sign up online and arrange a meeting place to meet other Trek fans.  I tried it in my area, but not enough people are signed up.  But others might have better luck.  Here's the link.  Good luck!

I will try that, thanks. Now that I have moved a thousand miles away from TSon, I have no one to talk to about Trek here. Heck, I know no one, I have no one to talk to period!

  2. Are girls the only options? *daydreams about being stuck in a turbolift with Spock* If they are though, I would pick (big surprise) Valeris. Not that I am homosexual (I am not), but she was my favorite female character in Trek.

  3. I seriously do not understand why everyone hates Wesley so much! He is definitely in my Top Ten Trek People, maybe even Top Five. I voted that he was a good character and did not deserve to die. I did not find him annoying, actually, I felt I rather understood him.

  4. Mine is set to the Hotmail log in page, since I normally check my e-mail first thing when I get on the computer. But there are so many sites I want as a home page, including this one! :)

  5. I am a female Romulan, and delighted with it. And thanks for the compliment, Hangon, though you have never seen me. I think I my finally have a way to put my picture onto the computer (yes!) though I still do not have a digital camera. Wish me luck!

  6. I'd be GLAD to be in the same turbolift as wesley, at least i can relate to the guy  (shame on you people for hating wes, he stands up for geeky teens everywhere :)).

I so agree! Thank you! (I feel rather like Wes myself somedays...). Anyhow, I picked Barclay. There are probably millions in Star Trek I would not want to be stuck with, and more than one whom I would definitely WANT to be stuck with...), but Barclay was the main one on the list. Sorry, I just found him really annoying...

  7. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU RC!!!!!!! I love this thing. I am not sure how many posts I have anymore (due to computer crashes and trips to Europe) but I cannot wait to get to 1000! Now, if only school would stop interfering...

  8. I did like this movie, although I do think that some of the others are better. It was the first Trek thing I ever watched (well... second) so it had to be good to get me as into Trek as I am. This despite the fact that I have not been here in forever- sorry people, I was in Europe on vacation!

  9. If these admittedly primitive twenty-first century scientists needed a human guinea pig for their transporter, I would be the first to volunteer. No second thoughts or hesitation here! I do not care if there is only like a twenty percent chance I would live. Beam me up, Scotty!

  10. You know, I have always joked that I was dating my laptop and not any human because I spend so much time on it. Maybe that might become a reality? Still, I could never join you guys in the woods. I like comfort, and yes, though it might take over like the Borg, or go all V*Ger, technology.

  11. My Algebra II teacher had this really cool music system with a CD and tape players and two gigantic speakers in his classroom. Of course, it was all controlled by a remote. I loved his classroom because it was so technological- he also had this laptop and he would play DVDs in it. The best part was that he had this projector thingy that projected the movies onto the board. But I am getting off topic. I think there have been remotes for other things too, though I am not sure what.

  12. My parents both had it done, and my Dad's eyes are wonderful, but my Mom's have gotten worse again with time, though she only needs glasses for reading. Nevertheless, I want to have it done when I am old enough. As much as I like having purple eyes (I persuaded Mom to get me colored contacts last visit to the eye doctor because I admire Mackenzie Calhoun and Alanna), I would prefer perfect vision.

  13. I rarely talk too deeply about personal things here, but I do tend to drop little hints. I do not it on purpose; it is just I habit. And of course, those of you here who I am closer to I sometimes PM, or you PM me. (Come to think of it, I usually wait for others to PM me, then respond). I know that it is sometimes dangerous, except if I know you in person ::coughT'Soncough:: but I relly do like and trust a lot of you, especially the people I see more and talk to more.
