  1. Has anyone seen the previews for this weeks Survivor?

    Click for Spoiler:

Who do you think is going to be the one that gives the ultimate betrayal? Who do you think is going to be stripped of immunity after winning it, for the first time in Survivor history I might add.

    I think

    Click for Spoiler:

Burton is going to be the ultimate betrayer and John is going to be the one who gets stripped of immunty for some sory of cheating..

Just so everyone knows these are only my guesses. I dont read real spoilers. i put this info under spoilers in case someone doesn't like to watch the previews.

  2. Well, the Xindi conflict was triggered by the TCW, so they've been connected the whole time.  Yes, I'd love to see a huge showdown near the end of Season 3.  TNG "The Best of Both Worlds" style cliffhanger anyone? :dude:

Yes, that is it exactly . Both arcs coming together would be the ultimate. Plus, it would really keep us guessing as to what to expect for season 4.

  3. Yipee! :( I am so glad it's already Tuesday I am jonesen for some Enterprise. I'm really looking forward to this episode. While I have read a lot of posters don't like time travel episodes, I have always loved them. If the TCW and the Xindi war come together as we have been suspecting, the second half of this season should be even better than the first! :dude:

  4. explorers wasnt that the one where they built a spaceship out of junk parts, and i cant quite recall the flight of the navigator, i know i know it, but cant think of it

Yes, Explorers was about a kid( I think a few of the kids in the movie shared the dream) who dreamt about blueprints to build a starship

Flight of the Navigator was about a kid who gets abducted by aliens and returns home years later. I found this synopsis for you to explain it better:

A charming Disney fantasy which revolves around the extraordinary experiences of 12-year-old David Freeman (Cramer), who in 1978 falls into a ravine and is knocked unconscious. When he comes to, it's 1986; and while he is still 12 years old, his little brother is now his big brother.

The folks at NASA are convinced that there is a connection between David's disappearance and the recent discovery of an alien spacecraft. Using space-age technology, they discover heretofore-unseen star charts imprinted on the young boy's brain. Escaping from NASA, David is called to the spaceship that carried him away eight years earlier (it was trying to take him home when its computer malfunctioned). With David aboard, the spacecraft takes off, and Max, the Hal-like computer that operates the ship, uses the star charts in the boy's brain to plot its return voyage

  5. All in all the ENT intro style hasn't bothered me much. There have been quite a lot of the "this happened now figure out how" intros. They probably shouldn't do it the same way every time. All of the other series have done the same thing just not as often. one think that did bother me about Similtude was the teaser and the intro had the same scene. Could of done with out that.

  6. If we are talking movies Star Wars was what got me hooked on the genre. If we are talking TV shows, Battlestar Gallactica and Buck Rogers are what kept me watching. I also should acknowledge there were a lot of movies when I was younger that were more for kids that I loved like E.T., Flight of the Navigator, The Last Starfighter, Explorers to name a few....

I really loved the show Sliders too. Great show!

WOW there were some tough games to call this week!

  9. Well I think we are seeing a quality show every week. Some episodes have a better written story than others but they all are great to watch. I don't think being on Fox or NBC would change the individual episodes but I do think that the ratings would be very different ( a lot better)if ENT were on a larger network.

Also, I do agree with Scott B. Upn's poor promotion did hurt the show in season 2.

  10. "Star Trek Host: What was the significance of the title "North Star"?

SB: I don't know that. I think it might have been lost in the script. I think it had something to do with the wagon train, but I really don't know. Ask Rick and Brannon. "

I thought that "Northstar" was a reference to Enterprise which was in the Northern sky. Did any of you get the same thing? If not, what did you think it was in reference to?

  11. I think this is the nature of young Vulcan females and I love how Balok is portraying T'Pol. Would any one agree?

I totally agree Alterego! She has a wonderful way of revealing what she is feeling by giving us just enough with out being overly emotional about it. Its amazing what Jolene B can do with just the expressions on her face.

Well I was so disappointed last night about Rupert getting voted off it took me a while to even feel like posting..One thing I have to acknowledge is I have been cracking down on Sandra lately and I have to retract my statements. She was not going to sell out Rupert. It's really weird how the womens alliance was just non existent. What happened? If that alliance would of held Rupert may not have left. It seems strange to me that Sandra didn't approach T or D before the tribal counsel. As for Lil, she is the anti-survivor. This is why I hated the whole outkast idea. She has no right to be on the island. She doesn't have the mental or physical ability. I will say this though, it was absolute comedy watching her in the reward challenge..LOL... Well I will still watch the show, it's anyones game now...

  13. How do you get into the chat room?? I would love to join in on a chat sometime.

Just go to the top of almost any page and click the link called "Trek Chat" it's right next to the Forum link...Let us know by a post that you are going to the chat room so we know your there..Hope to chat with you soon

There is no justification of murder, even if 10 billion people are at stake.  Besides, Sim would be just as capable as Trip in saving Earth from the Xindi, so that's more reason to defend Sim

    Click For Spoiler
There was also no guarantee that Sim would live more than 15 days. The Enzyme was only experimental. I believe Archer made the right choice no matter how difficult. I don't think that Archer treated Sim as a thing either. Yes he tried to stay emotional detached but he treated him with respect and did a lot of caring things for him up until the point were he had to decide his fate.

  15. I'm rather speechless at the moment trying to process everything I've just seen. I was totally and completely moved by this episode.

    Click For Spoiler
Once again Scott B. totally out did himself. Jonathan Archer has really become an incredible captain. It was so heartbreaking how torn he was by his descision to let Phlox create Sim. How he tried to distance himself emotionally from Sim yet took the responsibility to tell him what he was. I was especially moved when he took young Sim into the launch bay and showed him how to fly the remote controlled spacecraft just like he use to do with his father. It really was a battle for Archer to try to keep himself emotionally detached but when the time came he made it clear that his loyalties lied with his friend. I was also really pleased with the job Connor T did. What a challenge for him in this episode and he totally pulled it off. There was no doubt he was Sim and not Trip and I learned to love him all over again. It was wonderful that Sim had the opportunity to save the crew and receive the appreciation from Archer that he was so desperate for. I also enjoyed the interaction with the grown Sim and T'Pol. I really like how Trip and T'pol are being written and how there relationship is being allowed to slowly evolve into something very meaningful. Even though it was Sim expressing those feelings some of them were Trips feeling too. I actually thought T'pol was going to cry for a moment there when she was saying goodbye to Sim. It is really amazing how well Jolene B can show the tiniest bit of emotion with just the look in her eyes. She can hold it back just enough but still let us in on what she is feeling, I love it. I loved Phlox in this too. It was just a great episode, I cried like a baby at the end

I gave it a 9.5...but it couldn't be any closer to a 10. I'm still waiting for the ultimate episode to give out my 10.

  16. Hey everyone, I know there is a Enterprise chat scheduled at 8 ET tonight but I will not be able to make it. I am on the west coast and will not be seeing ENT until 11pm east coast time. If any of you west coasters want to chat about Similtude and ENT/Star Trek I will try to be on around 9:15p-9:30p PT. Any east coasters that are still up please join as well. Hope to talk to you all later.
