3. While many have stated that they like the relationship between Trip and T Pol I feel that it would not be a good thing to see it develop into some sort of love affair. The reason I say this is because I believe what is implied through smaller actions create more interest and caring for the characters, for example, the Mulder and Scully relationship during the first half of the show before the producers bowed to fan presure.

I agree TM I would be perfectly happy to have there relationship remain with just subtle innuendos and a heartwarming friendship.

I was happy until I read MR's spoiler.  That will ruin the show for me.

they don't "match" - they're not suited for each other.  She's a much better match for Archer who is much more reserved than Trip.  Trip is the most emotional member of the crew - it just doesn't work.  Not to mention it will totally ruin the wonderful tension and difference in perspective they've added - I love their spats.

We see totally opposite on this one.I think that the fact that Trip is one of the most emotional characters is what will make the relationship interesting. You say you love there spats, that is the chemistry they have together. I have never liked the idea of Archer and T'pol becoming an item. How totally unprofessional for the captain and the first officer to become romantically involved. I see there relationship more like Kirk/Spock type, truly best friends. I guess we just both can't be happy on this one.

 

I think you all have it all wrong about T'Pol's romances...

Hmm...  Actually, I think Hook looksy corny and cheesey with Peter Pan being a more serrious story and truer to the original book. :biggrin:

I agree CJLP, Hook was a good movie but it wasn't the true peter pan story. I love the original disney peter pan movie and this new movie looks like it is keeping true to the animated version and just bringing it to life. It looks really great and I look forward to seeing it with my niece and nephew.

Has to be Endgame. I was riveted when Voyager came through the worm hole at the end while the wormhole was collapsing and jumped into earths space with all the other federation ships waiting. I was on the edge of my seat. I loved it. There were quite a few good episodes but Endgame was it for me.

I love the show but if I could change anything (it would be more like adding things)

1) Increase the character developement, the more I know the more I care.

2) More Star Trek history, I love learning how things came to be.

3) More exploration, although I do love a good story arc they probably should be limited to 3 -5 episodes and have plenty of good ol exploration mixed in.

I wouldnt kill off any of the main characters they just need to be written in to the episodes more.

Ohh and I would change the theme song back to the original!

The capture of Saddam is a great event, let it not keep us from seeking the truth from our own government.

The truth is our government believed he had weapons of mass destruction. He had them at one time even if they don't exist now. They were not going to take that chance. It's called being pro active against the war on terrorism. Furthermore Saddam Hussein financed terrorism all over the world, even if their wasn't a direct link to 9/11 there definatley was an indirect one and that is enough for me to justify what we did. Not to mention the fact that he was responsible for genocide, torture, repression, etc..etc.. What is the truth you are looking for? That our government had no reason to invade Iraq so we made up intelligence. The legitimate reasons to do what we did far out weigh what you are suggesting. Please keep that in mind.

That is the same site I was getting my info from too. So I guess we will have to see if Jon will be on it or not.

I am going to say Jonathan Archer ( big shocker) followed closely by Picard. I would say they are both equally strong but I give my vote to Archer because not only is he a strong captain but he had the courage to be the first captain, he saved the warp engine that his father created by breaking all the rules to prove it's design, he stood up to the vulcans, he put together the first crew to travel into deep space, he truly went were no man has gone before and he did it with limited technology (for star trek) having no idea what he might be facing, he has no prime directive to guide him. The list can go on and on. So thats my reason for voting Archer but again Picard was very strong as well.

I have seen now that Rupert will be on it but i haven't seen anything about Jon yet. I have heard that they are taking 2 people from every season though. So maybe Jon will be on it.

I have also received these emails. I believe the motivation behind these is an attempt to aquire your account numbers so they can drain them. They try to lure you in by saying they will give you money and when you give them your account number your zapped.

I was so touched that they had that tribute to Rupert. It was really sad when he was so hurt by getting voted off and thought people didnt like him. I love how they are calling him the most popular survivor ever. He looks so happy now and it was nice to know the experience has helped his self esteem rather than hurt it.

Wow Allstars in February. That should be fun. I wont know very many characters because I have only seen the original and Pearl Islands. Does Rupert get to be on it? That would be so awesome! I hope they add new elements to the show like this one. I loved the bargaining for goods in the beginning that was grea.I think they should do that in every survivor. Well it's been fun. Until February.....
