  1. I personally don't drink, and for several reasons. For one, I don't see a need for it, certainly not to 'Get a buzz'. Things like Trek are my 'high'....and I believe also, that I would have a predisposition towards alcoholism..which has ruined far too many a life, and damaged families. Everyone has their constitutional right to 'imbibe', if legally allowed...but it doesn't mean one has to. Life can be complicated enough, without entering it into the equation. So, I'm perfectly content to stay very sober....

  2. Thanks, Raja! I don't know how good I am....but appreciate that. I haven't been doing any of late, but plan to very soon. It was also a highlight to see one of my fave species shown on my other fave series, on two occaisions. As for the 'interpersonal dynamics' between Bones and Spock, the apology he gives him later, and Spock's reply....''I am certain that if the Captain were here, he would have simply said, 'Forget it, Bones' ''...that's another favorite little moment, along with others, such as the 'tape scene' in Kirk's quarters, and that interchange...''I'm sorry, Spock. It hurts, doesn't it?''...''What would you have me say, Doctor?''....and in the newtrek, so to speak, we've seen the beginnings of 'The Triumverate'....For me, I think also this ep opened up a venue for what could be a future exploration path in the 24th century for Starfleet...if the Tholians might share a little-if wishful thinking-and well, I have some ideas. Imagine whole universes, at the Federation's fingertips....to mention Enterprise again, I loved seeing what a Tholian looked like from the neck down. Nice fx, gang. Gotta say, I'd love to see Tholians in the next film..but, there's a lot to be told before Jim and co.'s encounter here...

  3. ''Hard Day's Night'', ''I Wanna Hold Your Hand'', and ''Can't Buy Me Love'' are my favorite Beatles tunes, though I have to confess the only record I have of theirs is ''Yesterday'', that someone gave me, when I was spinning the vinyl 45's back in the early seventies, on my parents' old record player....good times. I am sure this gaming thing will bring more generations into liking the Fab Four.

  4. I do also. I watched it on an old B and W console tv set, while my parents watched Laurence Welk on Saturday nights....I enjoyed the series. I used to have a model of the Eagle, and an action figure of Cmdr. John Koenig. My best friend had this big Eagle playset, with miniature figures....I do still have 'The Making Of' paperback, and several novels, ''Moon Odyssey'', ''Astral Quest'', and one other...

  5. The closest thing to a star trek shirt I have, is a black-and by now worn-out- t-shirt bearing the by-now-several-years-defunct 'STAR TREK:THE MAGAZINE' logo...which, I confess, I never wore in public....no phasers, please, cause I still luves me trek!!There's just enough left, to wear around the house....I don't own any other ST clothing, beyond it.
