Driving is they say a privelege, not a right. When anyone abuses it, putting others at risk, they should be woken up about their behavior...or else lose that right. I know of someone who lost their husband to a possibly drunk driver. That's not to be tolerated.

I agree with Ensign Beedril...be as you are happy to be. And nope, going to movies solo is not a big deal. I will admit, I very very rarely go-exception being 'Star Trek'!-and I was glad to go the first time alone, so that I could just absorb and expeience it all with noone around-well, except the 20 or so at the matinee...second time, with a friend, but like me, he kept our interactions brief during-except when the E had her two big appearance moments...It sometimes feels for those who are 'flying solo', for however long, that indeed, one is alone in their aloneness..but I refer to Sting in the Police's ''Message In a Bottle'', where the man wakes, to find on his little island a 'hundred million bottles, washed up on the shore''..how true is that, hm?...., and in our increasingly net-centered, and global society, the concept of aloneness has expanded.

LOl!-And by that, I mean, what a coincidence. Just yesterday, or the night previous, I had a dream, in which I was sitting in what may have been a home-library type room...with Leonard Nimoy! And I was telling him things I liked about the new film...

I know Janeway was sympathetic towards him; he was like a son to her, and she wanted him to be happy, knowing as well, that he'd suffered so hard from the seperation from not only Libby, but of course his parents.

It was an intriguing premise, involving Chakotay. A bit of a different concept, and gave R. Beltran another chace to have an ep ....

I did feel the ending was sad, and to see how things develop..but also, the admirable courage, and determination shown by 'them' was something we'd expect from 'the others'-and the initial scene was something we might have witnessed, had we been little flies on the Mess Hall walls...nice.

Dunno about when ill...but it sure does make me feel good otherwise! Just listened to the music of the new film, once more.Now there are some good tunes!

It had a unique story hook to it, yes....in the mind-convuluting abiliteies of the creature....Morgan Shepphard, the guest star, was Ira Graves on TNG,the warden at Rura Penthe in Trek6, and, of late, one of the Vulcan Academy officials who offered Young Spock his own place, in 'StarTrek'....

One person's mush is another's art, poetry, literature...and, of course ,music....consider, folks...and has been for countless generations...but, to each ,his or her own...

There is a recent novel for TNG, which indicates they indeed have married.Fine by me. I say, good.

Nice cover. I was an original Galactica fan, as a teen.I still have my small collection of books, the Galactica, and Base Star models, etc. I have seen little of the new one, but it's not a big issue for me. I would probably watch all of it, I guess, had I cable, but all I've seen are two tv-movies, or mashed together eps, etc, on NBC about two or so years ago. I recall 1980, of course, and yes, it was not the predecessor, but, by today's standards, both could get criticism, though the basic characters were interesting, and had depth, and potential. Lorne Greene was great as Adama. I was not as much into the sequel series:it wasn't the same, without Apollo and co....but, heck, if it were on tv somewhere, I might watch some of it....
