  1. Haven't been around much of late, but logged on, and saw the sad, and unfortuante news about our fellow member. May I offer my condolences, and regrets at his passing...especially, as said prior, at such a young age. Also to those who were his personal friends, and family, of course. God rest him, and Peace. Take care, all. VR.

  2. Been a long while since last I posted here, but I have seen various Trek-vet guest stars, some of which I recall by show...Raphael Sbarge('Michael Jonas(Traitor!!) on Voyager) was on ''Heroes'' last week as a Sheriff....Thomas Kopache(Enterprise-B officer and one of the survivors on Voyager's 'The Thaw'' on 'Numbers' this Fri, night, along with Leslie Silva, who played the daughter of Emory Erickson, the transporter's inventor....Molly Hagan('Eris' the first Vorta seen on DS9) played a doctor on 'Law and Order:SVU'.....Keith Sczarabazca(''Teero Anaydas' -Voyager's 'Repression') as a police commissh on ''Cold Case' Sun Oct.25...Steven Culp(''Major Hayes'' leader of the MACO team on 'Enterprise' Year Three) in the same ep as head of a rehab school for troubled teens..he also played on CSI:Miami the week before as the head of a food-corp implicated in two deaths...Tom Virtue(''Walter Baxter''-Voyager) on a show not certain of, or character....Gregg Henry(''Gallatin''-Insurrection) was on Numbers several weeks ago as head of an FBI tactical squad....okay, that oughta do it!! Whew!.......

  3. Too bad he didn't have a bit more to do in the film, granted, it was Zach and Chris' show, essentially, to kick things off. I do feel that he and Kirk should have fought one-on-one a bit more than they did. In a further permutation, or timeline, Nero be very much alive....I loved that line, so casually delivered by Eric to Bruce Greenwood's Pike, ''Hello, Christopher. I'm Nero''

  4. I came across an article at Wikipedia I believe it was a while back, in the ST section, ships....there was a mention of the U.S.S. Entente, and is referenced in radio chatter in ST:The Motion Picture, obviously during the sequence introing the Epsilon Nine outpost, with its listening/comm arrays....this name matching one of the same class listed in Franz Joseph's 'Star Trek Technical Manual'(1975, I believe, original publishing date). Granted, the book isn't canon, by usual standards....but it comes from a legendary early from-the series publication, which I, too, have. (LOTS of starship names in there!)It's the closest thing....
